Very clean, centrally located, yet quiet, great staff who were very accommodating and could not do enough with a huge smile. Excellent breakfast and all facilities needed for a pleasant stay home from home. Easy check in, key card system to enter room, aircon is a must in summer in Szeged and this place has a nice large one but it won’t make you ill with it being too cold, also the Panzio has good free wifi.

Parking was a bit fiddly, it is in a courtyard but again staff made sure we could get out whenever we needed to and it’s always good to test your parking skills, plus it’s better than the alternative which is paying for it everywhere in Szeged, which is not exactly cheap. So really there are no negatives.

Great location. At the same time, a quiet neighborhood and close to all attractions (5 min. walk to Karasz street, Szechenyi ter, Arkad etc) Parking in the yard. I also have to thank the kind Ildiko. Even though we left the accommodation, we left the car for another four hours for free in the yard of the accommodation so that we would not have to look for and pay for parking in the city because we did not leave the city immediately

The staff was very proffessional with a strong will to make everything possible to make us feel good . They let us leave our luggage with them after check out and they also let us before check in time. The room had mostly everyrhing needed for our stay. Location is great and staff was great !

Floor in the room didnt have carpet or anything similar so it was cold for feet once you take off the shoes.

Kata Panzio, is a small, family run hotel located two blocks from the most beautiful section of downtown Szeged. When you arrive you are greeted by the very friendly, kind and helpful owner who is in charge of reception. Upon arrival, he carried my bags, and then offered me a cup of tea. I want to thank him, his wife, his son and daughter/in law for making me such a delicious breakfast. I really appreciated this kind detail and gesture. This is the third time I have stayed in their hotel. The rooms are spacious, well decorated, comfortable and quite. Best of all, you get a very nice view of the quiet and lovely neighborhood. In the morning, you have breakfast in their private dining room, which is also very attractive and tasteful. As, always the owner was kind enough to let me keep my bags at the hotel after check/in and later called me a taxi. The atmosphere is very calming, relaxing and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel and would categorize it as outstanding in the areas of cleanlyness, comfort, location, price and serivice. This is simply a great place to stay if you are visiting Szeged.

I wish, I could have stayed longer in the hotel to relax and see more of the sights of Szeged as it is such a lovely city especially in Easter when the parks and the downtown is decorated with lots of flowers.

The location was great, very close to the city centre. The host, Mr. Ianos, is a most pleasant person, always ready to help. He made sure that we have everything we need for an enjoyable stay. I was particularly impressed with how he took care of everything in person. His sons were also very nice and eager to help. You could tell this was a serious family business. The breakfast was also great and prepared with great care.

A very great place to spend a city break.Very clean.It's very quiet even if it's in the center of the city.The rooms are clean and very mantained!The breakfast in the morning is delicious and the coffee is fabulous.The people in the hotel are so friendly!They help you with everything you need!We will come back in the future.

If the hotel is full of people there are no many parking spaces

Most 3 star hotels that can’t compare to this place! Very clean, comfortable and spacious room. The host was beyond friendly and sheltered my motorcycle in the yard!

The only improvement I can think of is the refrigerator - it would be beneficial to change it, since it’s super noisy. But that was on my room and I turned it on, because I needed it. If you don’t need it and don’t turn it on, it’s completely fine.

I liked the man at reception who was friendly, helpful, kind and who helped me with my bag, served me a cup of tea and allowed me in the room earlier than the normal check in time. I loved staying in an elegant, well designed, comfortable and extremely well located hotel only two blocks from the city centar. This is the second time I have stayed here and will go back in the future.

The breakfast could include more fruits and vegetables as is very basic but it is served in a nice attractive private diningroom.

Location (near the center of the town and yet in a quiet side street), cleanliness and the size of the room, warm wellcome of the staff. Parking place in the street was easy to find (on weekends street parking in Szeged is free).

Everything was perfect!

we really enjoyed by this small family accommodate. Apartments were very cozy, big enough (2 rooms), stylish. Hotel location is in 5 mins walk from the central streets, but it was very quite there. We also took breakfast ( 15 euro for 2 adults and child-3 years old), everything was fresh and tasty. Car was parked in the street near hotel for free. Owners of the hotel were very very friendly and nice and for sure we will stay only at this place next time. Highly recommended
