The location is only 30min away from the lagoon of Jokuslaron. So if this is where you want to go it is the perfect location. Also because there is few cities and other light sources around you have good chance to see the northern lights. Everything is clean, the stuff is super friendly and the food, including the breakfest, is very good.

The dinner is a bit pricy but that is normal in Iceland to be honest. And if you have loud neighbours you will hear them. Also there is no ventilation in the bathroom. And the room has only one window.

We love the location to all the outdoor activities we were in the area for, there are not many options for hotels (and affordable ones) in the area. The rooms were so cozy and had views of the sheep and surrounding mountains. There was a towel heater in the bathroom which was perfect for drying out wet clothes. The staff was very friendly and the early morning breakfast buffet was perfect!

The dinner's last seating was a bit early, we had a hike planned that was going to end a little bit later so we were not able to take advantage of the hotel's dinner and there are not many options for dining in the area.

The room looked much better that the building (buildings) from the outside. Those looked bit older, but inside it's very nice and I think also renovated. Everything was very, very clean, huge thanks for that. and the receptionist? Keep him!!! Welcomed us very nice receptionist who spoke at least 4 different languages, it was the end of the day and he had still huge smile on his face, very patience, knew how to multitask because he was able to serve 6 different customers almost at the same time. He was doing receptionist, giving advices to other visitors, act as a waiter because we asked him for a beers, so really amazing stuff. Breakfast are also nice and you can choose whatever you want :)

Adventure Hotel Hof was an ideal location for exploring this stunning part of Iceland. The hotel itself was very comfortable and clean and staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food was excellent and the waiting staff also very helpful in assisting with choices. The hotel is just a 30 minute drive to the incredible Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and the Diamond Beach, a must-see if you are planning a trip to Iceland. Also close by is Svartifoss waterfall and the Skaftafell Glacier, making the Adventure Hotel Hof a great base for visiting these outstanding natural wonders.

Nothing - it was all good.

The location of this hotel is excellent as it allows for hiking on the glacier, visit to Diamond Beach and Black Beach at Vik - it made a perfect base for our holiday. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was really lovely - particularly the Icelandic Skyr! We weren't able to get to the hotel before the restaurant closed but we were able to phone in our order and it was ready for a take away which we ate in our room. Shout out to Diego who couldn't have been more helpful - it is a wonderful ambassador for the hotel

honestly, after reading the reviews we were a bit scared about whats going to be waiting for us when we get there and we were very positively surprised! We got a room in the main building on the 1st floor, the bathroom was nice with a big shower, the heating was very strong which we needed much since all of our clothes were soaking wet. The breakfast was delicious with mostly basic items but also some specialties (marinated herring for example).

there is not much around the hotel. the room was a bit small but for 2 people its perfectly fine for a short stay

Well appointed room with crisp linens and a large bathroom. We were impressed with how friendly and service-oriented the staff at the reception are. Very good Breakfast. The hotel is very thorough with providing information about dining options, as there is not a lot nearby. It was the perfect location for our glacier hike the next morning.

There is no refrigerator in the room, but reception was kind enough to give us a small bag of ice.

Such a lovely hotel. We really expected a cheap hotel from the reviews, but can honesty say this hotel is lovely. Brilliant location (we chose it for proximity to our tour start location). The food is delicious and normal pricing for Iceland. Breakfast was good too and they catered for gluten free with ease. The rooms were comfortable and the shower was very good. The room had beautiful views too with huge windows that opened fully.

The bathroom was small with limited shelf space and the pillows were quite flat (although if we had of asked I'm sure there would have been spare ones available) We came back after check out to use the toilet but were refused, so that was disappointing.

Basic but clean and bright room with en suite bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room was nice but no milk, only creamer in a packet (does seem to be the standard in Iceland). Beautiful location, with lovely view from our window to the mountains. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast had a good variety of options. The restaurant was open for dinner whilst we were there and served lovely food, we enjoyed the burger and the lamb shank.

Only one quite soft pillow was available, would have preferred two! In fairness, we didn’t ask at reception if a second pillow was available.

A attractive and informal stop-off on the picturesque south-coast road-trip route. A more intimate style than some standard tourist hotels. Decent breakfast and acceptable supper. The Reception staff gave us a brilliant recommendation for a self-guided hike, up beside a spectacular 'hidden' canyon. The room was comfortable, quiet and with lovely views of the craggy mountainside.

Better coffee at breakfast please. The annex building we were in has slightly thin walls, though this wasn't a problem for us.
