The room was clean, well-heated and good Wi-Fi connection. We had a comfortable bed and pillows without unnecessary noise that could disrupt our sleep. Also, we do have available tea, coffee and a kettle in our room. The bathroom area is of decent size where they provided towels, shower gel, and shampoo. We were quite pleased with the room size, as it allowed us to open our luggage easily and move around freely. The staff were very polite and helpful, responding promptly to messages. It's important to inform them of your check-in time since their reception isn't 24 hours. They gave us clear instructions for accessing our room, making check-in smooth. All the hotel rooms are located on the ground floor. We refilled our water bottles with tap water at the hotel. Coffee and tea with disposable cups were available at the reception if you wanted to prepare a drink to take with you. During our stay, the buffet breakfast wasn't available due to restaurant construction. Instead, they provided a good breakfast packed meal, which usually costs extra but was free during our stay. We tried finding a cheaper Airbnb but couldn't, so we recommend this hotel. It's conveniently located as a halfway point between Reykjavík and our ice cave tour the next day. This is the hotel where we enjoyed Aurora Borealis till midnight. Reference wise, this hotel is around 3 hour and 40 mins drive from Reykjavik and around 1 hr and 40 mins drive to Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon without traffic and on a good road condition.

If im being picky, if no construction is happening and operation as usual there is an additional cost if you ask for packed breakfast.

It is located next to a farm with goats and sheep and their young ones grazing in hotel grounds. The building we were in is 6 months’ old. The room is such well soundproof that you cannot hear someone knocking or shouting in front of the door. The room is not big but enough for a short stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is adequate with both hot and cold dishes. The restaurant serves decent dinner at reasonable price. The room price is good value for money.

There is no internet in the room where I stayed. The tv did not work because I there was no internet signal.

The room was comfortable and spacious, providing a pleasant and relaxing environment. The breakfast offered good options - not extraordinary, but satisfying. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which made the stay even better

The view from the room was disappointing. This wasn’t the hotel’s fault, as there is construction nearby, but the bright lights from the construction made it impossible to see the Northern Lights, even though it was a good night for them. This was unfortunate for such a promising setting

We enjoyed our stay at the Adventure hotel so much! Starting with the really tasty dinner at the restaurant (with beer from the local brewery and nice wine) and continuing with super stylish, clean, and comfortable room. We haven’t expected the hotel in the mountains (in the middle of nowhere) being so cozy and comfortable! It looks like the hotel was built quite recently and that’s why everything is really new. We were a bit sorry that we needed to continue the trip and that we had to leave. We will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends.

The location was good, just 3km off the Ring Road (the final section of the route was a gravel road, though). We had no problems with parking our car, as there were plenty of parking spaces provided. The room itself was spacious, clean, and quiet at night. The beds were comfortable. WiFi worked fine. The bathroom was clean, the toiletries and towels were provided. The breakfast was tasty and varied, and was included in the price of accommodation. There was also a bar, opened in the evening, serving hot food and drinks. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived quite late on our first night, but there were no issues with the check-in. We even got some hot food despite late hour. We took advantage of a discount that was offered to the guests on tours organized by one of the agencies.

The place was perhaps a bit pricey, but it was well worth it.

The front desk staff were all super friendly and helpful. My husband has allergies and needed to check multiple rooms prior to picking the right one. The staff was very accommodating and willing to show us multiple rooms and gave us plenty of time to decide. All the rooms were very clean, we especially liked that the new building opened this year.

The shower rod was not secure and fell while showering

I have stay here many times, they have been improving the facilities, and the breakfast menu is better everytime. Good location for trips in the south. Quiet place, rooms are spacious, comfortable, the breakfast is very good, and complete. Now they offer sausages and beans aswell. Very good!

They take a 40.000 ISK (~300 euros) deposit with check-inn (in case of damages) and this is not advertised in advance at all. We didnt had any credit card or cash with us. We pay by the phone, we were sugested to go to an ATM to give them in cash. You cant use a phone card on an ATM. In resume this was a non-sense and bad experience for us. Specially qhen we are locals and been staying there for many times. Also if there are damages, maybe they can afterwards process a claim to the user though booking.com but not ask for such a deposit at the very last minute. Maybe because of this, I will look for another place to stay when I go arround again.

We stayed in the new wing of the hotel, and the room was enormous with an exceptional design—especially impressive given the remote location in the middle of Iceland. Waking up to stunning natural views, surrounded by Icelandic sheep and the peaceful silence of nature, was simply priceless.

The breakfast could be served till 10:30-11:00. When we where there it was served only till 09:30.

We liked the spacious, clean and very comfortable room. We were lucky that the neighboring rooms were not loud and no people shouting in the corridor. We also loved the quiet, peaceful surroundings with sheep and pasture. The beds were comfortable. We slept very well. Staff was courteous and nice. Breakfast was of good quality and very delicious.

The chairs in the room were a bit dated. One of them sagged in the middle which I had reported to the staff.

Breakfast is a bit modest and you need to be careful when booking because they have new and old rooms with significant difference. We were lucky enough to get a new room but we saw reviews of people claiming they got the old room (same price, they don’t mention what room you get)
