Staff weren't very professional. Especially those at the reception were new and inexperienced. They mixed up our rooms. This created difficulty for my parents who couldn't climb stairs. However, my Jojo who we met at the buffet area was very welcoming and friendly Another issue, was the jacuzzi in the bathroom. The water wasn't very clean, and there was some brown residue/froth even after running the clean function.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mount Xanadu, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best resorts in Wayanad. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with exceptional customer service that set the tone for a memorable stay. The staff at Mount Xanadu went above and beyond to ensure that our needs were met, and their warmth and attentiveness made us feel right at home. Our room had a breathtaking view facing the hills and the serene river, which made waking up each morning an absolute delight. The panoramic scenery was nothing short of picturesque, and we spent countless hours simply soaking it all in from our balcony. There’s something incredibly soothing about the gentle sounds of nature combined with the stunning landscape, making it a perfect retreat away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. What truly stood out was the cordiality and courtesy of the entire staff. Whether it was the front desk personnel, the restaurant team, or housekeeping, everyone was genuinely friendly and eager to assist. They not only addressed our requests promptly but also offered insightful recommendations for exploring Wayanad, enhancing our overall experience. We stayed at the Mountain Exotic Glamps at Mount Xanadu Resort for 3 nights. It was a splendid experience for us. The glamp stay was awesome, with luxurious inside, amenities and a beautiful view of the mountains and valley. The staff were really professional and helpful . They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Special shout out to the gentlemen who was doing the live music at dinner, his songs made dinner time all the more enjoyable. Another highlight was High Tea , with the view of the beautiful surroundings. They have an ayurvedic spa which will surely leave you relaxed and rejuvenated. We had an early check out, so the staff packed fruits and water for us for the trip back. These small gestures elevate Xanadu's service to another level. Highly recommended! Suggestions to improve: Increase size of TV. Leave a booklet with local activities inside the room for guests to review.

Spectacular Views: Be it from your tent, the restaurant, or the viewpoint, the panoramas are heart-stoppingly beautiful. A sunrise view here is worth waking up early for. 3. Pristine Property: The resort grounds are immaculate, well-kept, and beautifully landscaped. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between serenity and vitality. 4. Top-Notch Hospitality: The staff, especially Abhirami at the front desk and Prabin in the restaurant, are worth special mention. They personify the resort's commitment to service – always attentive, endlessly polite, and incredibly helpful. Their smiles and professionalism significantly elevate the overall experience. 5. Entertainment: The restaurant's live music is a delightful touch, creating a vibrant atmosphere, while the open campfires at night bring about a cozy charm to the mountain evenings. 6. Hi-Tea Experience: The Hi-Tea at the viewpoint is a delightful affair and is highly recommended.

1. Food Quality: While most aspects of the stay impressed, the food quality was average and could benefit from a bit of elevation. 2. Pool Maintenance: The beautiful infinity pool unfortunately lacked in maintenance. While guests should ideally respect the rules, the resort must have vigilant staff on-hand to enforce them. The water quality left much to be desired. While there were clearly stated rules and a dress code for the pool, many guests disregarded them. We even noticed some children in the pool still wearing diapers, which was quite uncomfortable to see 3. Pool Amenities: The absence of towels and attentive staff around the pool area was a noticeable lapse. For a pool that boasts such visual appeal, the experience around it should match its aesthetics.

Hospitality. Staffs are super awesome, right from front desk to Kitchen. Extremely baby friendly(round the clock hot milk, food of her choice, high chairs, a crib as well in the restaurant, Doctors and medical stores nearby). We travelled with our 1 year old and the staffs took great care of her needs. The place overall is also very nice for kids too. Rooms are spacious with all amenities and nice view. Evening high tea on the top gives a serene view . Bonfire at night is worth strolling around.

A bar would have been very nice. Breakfast could have been more continental.

Unbelievably beautiful location. The resort clearly looks like a labour of love. There are so many little nooks and corners in this place that I felt my 2 day visit didn't do justice to it. Listing all of the best bits. + The view is just incredible. + The food though limited was excellent. + The staff were always smiling and accommodating. + Great night time live entertainment. + Nice play area for children. + open campfires at night + Adventure sports within. + Beautiful infinity pool But really my favourite spot was the library. Limited book collection but if you are particular carry your own.

What we didn't like were: + spotty WiFi. Barely worked at night so if you're WFH then make sure to carry backup. + Hot water would come and go sometimes. + Breakfast buffet is limited.

Efficient & Cordial staff, Wide variety of food both in Veg & NV, Room options are Excellent, Room view & facilities are comfortable. Overall, amazing experience.

Evening entertainment was repetitive, Kalariyapattu, Kerala Dance & Music options may be attempted, TV is internet based which is very slow, so dish options may be explored.

Easy access to the Resort. One of the Best Views we have ever witnessed from a Resort in Kerala. Incredible staff who are always available to assist with a smile. Upgrade of Rooms were done from their side complementary. It is definitely a must visit Resort in Wayanad, Kerala.

The road leading to the resort was a bit bumpy.

OMG..!!! First impression of the resort as you enter is beautiful 🤩..located on top of a hill, hidden gem surrounded by greenery and nature around, then coming to the staff.. i have stayed in lot of 5 star properties but never met more courteous and polite staff then Mount Xanadu..🫶🏻they are so amazing and professional and goes out of length to assist you in anything..❤️they have good local food in buffet everyday,along with the live karaoke by this amazing singer. Rooms are spacious with great view.. Over all had an amazing experience in Wayanad all thanks to the super sweet & amazing staff from reception to house keeping to restaurant to even there security guard made our stay memorable.. Anyone visiting Wayanad must book a stay in Mount Xanadu..🤟🏻
