Limited Choice of foods

Breakfast was great. They had different varieties of food for the two days we stayed there. We loved the fact that this hotel had interconnected rooms .We spent days trying to find a hotel with such rooms and we were satisfied when we saw the rooms at this hotel.

The drain was blocked in one of the bathrooms when we showered there. Also the views for both rooms was horrible.

Overall the stay was pleasant with all amenities good.

Food was over by 10 am when I was given a complimentary breakfast saying it was available will 10.30 am.

Almost everything is managed perfectly. The staff was helpful and courteous and we had prompt/good room service as well here. We booked connecting rooms/suites and it was comparatively cost-effective (better than most pricey homestays/resorts advertised on booking sites). Though it's in the middle of Kalpetta town, adjacent to the new Bus Station, once you enter the hotel you'll not feel any disturbances due to traffic or other noises (at least we didn't). There was enough space to park our car (valet parking). All facilities were comparable to what you get in a 3/4 star hotel in India or abroad. All local attractions are about 30 minutes or an hour's drive from the hotel. You can plan for 2 or 3 locations per day based on how much time you want to spend at each location.

This is a place for people who prefer an urban setting - it's bang in the middle of Kalpetta town. I'd suggest finding another place in some remote homestays or resorts if you are looking to be awakened by the sound of birds chirping, and the smell of the morning dew or some such. My family prefers the urban setting and the accessibility it brings with it, so the location was fine for us. The buffet breakfast (and room service) will start only at 8 AM, so if you are used to the early morning tea, you may have to step out of the hotel and visit a tea stall nearby (or put in a special request, I'm almost sure the hotel staff will oblige)!!
