The room that we stayed in was far more spacious and more luxurious than we imagined. The bed was absolutely huge and there was a lot of extra space for storage. We had a little balcony as well where we could chill in the evenings with a drink and enjoy the fresh air. There is also a pool at the property which was a welcome relief from the heat of the day. On the ground floor, the property has a restaurant which serves pretty decent quality food at reasonable prices and of course, the 'all you can eat' buffet breakfasts were a huge bonus! Auroville can be reached in about a 5-10 minute cycle ride from the property and historic centre of Puducherry (White Town) is about a 40 minute cycle ride.

Service from the staff was very variable. While the breakfast team were always happy to help and provided a great service, the restaurant team often seemed quite nonchalant and curt.

The staff was excellent, especially John, who took care of everything. The food, though limited in choice, was great to taste and the ambiance was wonderful with a lot of greenery all around.

If you are looking for an Aurovillian experience, with visits to solar kitchen and a few other places that only accept Aurocard, this is not the right place as it is not a part of Auroville. I made the mistake of assuming that being close to the visitor's center it should be a part of Auroville. Go to their website and confirm which establishments are a part of Auroville. Other than that, it is a beautiful place to stay.

I absolutely loved my stay at greens. It really felt like a home from home. All the staff were exceptional, so warm, friendly and helpful. The hostel itself is beautiful set within lush greenery, with an amazing pool at the back. Perfect location. They arranged scooter hire for me and laundry. It was with a heavy heart I had to leave and will 100% go back there if I visit auroville again.

Wi-fi was a little hit and miss around the property but they were improving this.

Very calm and nice place to stay. Like name Greens it every were greenery..spl thanks Jhon , very nice care taker and helps to get u all and guide u nicely.

No restaurant was their and only breakfast was available. If they open restaurant means then it will be easy to have their and no need to go for outside which is too long.

The Resort was very green with positive vibes and refreshing swimming pools. Breakfast and surroundings were good. The only problem was some rooms in the backside building which we got were small. When we checked in they were providing only breakfast, so we ordered our dinner through zomato. The resort is just 100 meters from the Auroville tourist information center. Overall I will rate this resort good for a stay.

Smaller Room size and bathroom size.

- beautiful place close to the VERY enormous touristical Matrimandir - nice cold pool - air-conditioned, but also cool because of all the trees around this beautiful area - cheap Tuktuk-driver to get you to Pondicherry or to restaurants (not many food close-by) (DON'T GO to Tanto-Pizza -> rude and slow service)

- the staff (very nice though!) didn't help with my further transportation which I felt very depressed about since this place is off the hood - they just gave me a name of internet page and left me alone

Location, it is just next to Visitor Centre and no matter where you want to go this is everything will be at Max 8mins away from you. We booked for only two days thinking that we will change Hotel after that but we end up extending our stay for the entire week.

Calm n neat place. Friendly staff. Clean surroundings and swimming pool..good place for family, frnds and couples for stay and hand around.. personal vehicle shud be there to explore pondicherry..

Except breakfast we won't get anything to eat or drink..network provided at property is dam slow and mobile network also poor like airtel and bsnl..

It was wonderful staying at Green's Guest House, peaceful and a happy experience. Great location, walking distance from Youth Center.. Yumm breakfast! Lovely hosts, always welcomed us with a smile and helped us whenever required. We are actually missing being there, from the time we reached Pondicherry. Would stay there again if we ever go to Auroville.

It was a lovely place. The staff members were really kind and helpful. Kancha the dog was a memorable member of the team 😄😄 it was a homely place. The food was great!!

The water from the washroom was getting out if the shower was turned on at full speed. This caused mild unconvenience.
