I stayed at the hotel on August 2nd to celebrate my birthday, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences I've had. From the thoughtful surprise arrangements—including a birthday cake, an exotic fruit basket, and a cheese and cracker platter—to the warm hospitality, everything exceeded my expectations. The Executive Club Lounge access from 5 to 7 PM with cocktails added a lovely touch to the evening. I also thoroughly enjoyed a refreshing swim—the pool and the view were simply outstanding. The musical evening at Saffron followed by dinner at the café made the celebration even more special. The food quality was excellent, though I felt the dinner spread could have offered a few more options. I do want to share a bit of feedback. The changing room at the pool does not have a shower area, and the gentlemen’s changing room had an unpleasant smell—we were informed that renovation is currently underway, which might explain it. Also, the poolside restaurant could be made more visually inviting to match the otherwise high standards of the hotel. Despite these minor points, it was an overall wonderful stay and I truly appreciate the efforts made to make my birthday so special.

Beautiful rooms, amazing staff! And we were lucky enough to have all the IPL cricket teams staying there whilst we were there - highlight for my family. The buffets are just incredible as was the food as Brewhouse. XO is very luxurious but disappointed at the minimal food options on the menu - a Chinese restaurant that doesn’t have kung pao chicken on the menu??

The pool area could really do with some work. No staff there to take orders for food; also you cannot order alcohol poolside which is the first time I’ve encountered this anywhere in the world at a hotel! There is no vibe poolside, they have a gorgeous seating area just above the pool but no staff or furniture apart from one sofa. So much potential to make this area more lively and fun. Also would be great for more activities in the hotel such as a snooker table, ping pong table etc

I had paid extra for an early check in, in order to get some much needed sleep after three flights, however I was awakened within 2-3 hours by a noisy jet wash hose outside my window (I assume someone was cleaning the building or windows), as such I couldn’t get back to sleep, which was very disappointing and frustrating. Update: Prompt contact from Ishvi Tandon (Assistant Front Office Manager) to apologise, offer refund of early check-in cost and assure me of an exceptional experience on my next stay at this hotel - Very good customer service 👏

Great Deluxe Room. Nice Ambience. Excellent hospitality overall. In Room Dining service is exceptional with tasty food. Highly recommend this facility if you are in Chandigarh. You have accessibility to almost all prime locations within the city. The staff is very good. Nice restaurant.

One of the bed lamps adjacent to the King Size bed was not functioning. We were there only for 2 nights so didn' bother to report to the front desk. But, i beleive there should be a thorough check of the rooms by the Support team before the guest check-in.

After completing my reservation for 3 nights via booking.com, there was no confirmation email or phone call from the hotel.As I was travelling with an infant with driving time of 6 hours I wanted to avoid any last moment hicupps and despite numerous calls,the hotel staff was clueless of my booking and kept forwarding my calls to different departments for the confirmation which they did after my 4th call.This should certainly be avoided and the system be more streamlined so that the guest is assured of any last moment panic attacks.

The friendly and attentive staff was the highlight of my stay - right from the reception to housekeeping to the restaurants.... everyone made a concious effort to make me feel welcome and make my stay comfortable. I must make a special mention of the housekeeping staff, Subal, who left a handwritten note for me, inviting me to reach out in case I needed anything else to be taken care of. That was very thoughtful and sweet !

No negative observations

We had such a lovely stay a JW Marriott Chandigarh for complete 12 days. Thanks to Mr Rajnish manager at theCafe@JW and his team for looking after each and everything perfectly at the time of dinning in such a well mannered way.Thanks to Chef Amit and Pappu Arya for showing great hospitality and serving delicious dishes and taking care of everything.Thanks to Mr. Anurag for serving dinner at room with proper care. Thanks to House keeping staff Mr.Akash,Ms.Kranti and Mr.Balwant for keeping our room spotless clean and well decorated/organised for whole 12days during our stay. We were really pleased with that. Thanks to front desk reception staff for cheerful welcome and lovely see off at the time of leaving. Hope to visit more frequently at JW Marriott Chandigarh in coming years after getting such a great hospitality by each and every staff member.

Excellent customer service, comfort and central city location, food was amazing, especially the breakfast was a Feast. Swimming pool on the terrace with city view is amazing and spa was very relaxing.

Lounge experience can be improved as of the size (layout) and comfort, which doesn't match the rest of the extraordinary experience of the property

Breakfast spread was very good, however the taste of most items was not good. Also it was too crowded at the breakfast and tables were too close to each other.

Beautiful and clean

One thing is parking issues. It takes us half an hour to get our car from valley person. There is no proper arrangement of getting car and bringing cars, there is a big chaos. Everyone is waiting for their cars for about half an hour on Saturday night. This one thing is not good otherwise everything in property is perfect, likes this one in chandigarh the most.
