We had such a fantastic time staying at The Hosteller Chikmagalur. The location itself is stunning, nestled right in the middle of lush, beautiful coffee plantations. It’s incredibly peaceful and offers the perfect escape from city life. The entire property has a wonderful, social atmosphere, which made it easy to meet fellow travelers. The common areas, bonfire, and group activities organized were brilliant for bonding. A huge thank you must go to the amazing team, especially Manu and Himanshu. They were both incredibly helpful, friendly, and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Manu's guidance on local treks and Himanshu's warm hospitality really made our stay special. The quality of service from the staff here is truly exceptional. The rooms were clean, the hostel vibe was great, and we'd definitely recommend it to any solo traveler or group looking for an authentic and fun experience in Chikmagalur. We can't wait to visit again!

I had a great experience staying at this hostel. Here are the highlights of my stay 1) As a single women, staffs made me comfortable and assured my safety during the stay. 2) Room was perfectly good with good cleanliness and beds were soft and comfortable. 3) Wi-Fi had good connectivity throughout my stay. Happy with this service. 4) Food was pure vegetarian which was fresh and equality was quiet good. 5) Staffs working were really helpful and supportive. Few more things that impressed me as a regular traveller in India were tons of games, scooty rentals in hostel and a offbeat location.

The hostel is situated amidst a coffee plantation which sets up the whole vibe. The surrounding is green and lush, such a treat for the eyes. The whole remote living experience is a must try for anyone travelling to Chikmagalur. Staff named Anuj, stelin, shyam at property were just amazing, even though I reached late at night I felt really comfortable at the property as they helped me through the whole check in process. Room was clean in midnight and so was the washroom after seeing the room was completely jampacked. The food is also a great reason to visit here, they only serve veg food but definitely worth it. I liked their chole bhature & mix veg pakora. I have only spent one night and few hours in the morning but I'm already regretting that I don't have another day to spend here. I'm definitely coming back soon.

My stay at the hosteller was of 2 nights. From service to food to accomodation everthing was very nice. The dorms here are well maintained having good mattress. I stayed in a Six-Bed dorm and it was quite compact and cozy. Bathrooms were always neat and clean and had no issues. Regarding the vibe of the hostel it is calm and not very socializing as compared to quite a few hostels that I’ve been to in India. For eg:- The hosteller Shimla had such a vibrant crowd and very socializing. Although I believe it is completely luck where you could get a socializing crowd amd somewhere not. Coming to the food. There were a number of options to choose from the menu. They have their in house kitchen. I must say the food was delicious and it made it more special as the hosteller is in the midst of the forest and getting such tasty and at the same time healthy food is very rare. Food here is a bit pricy and costs around 300-400rs per meal per person. The team managing the hostel was very warm and welcoming. They helped us in everything that we wanted. Overall, my stay in Chikmagalur was great and I’d like to thank The Hosteller for providing such a nice stay.

We had a lovely stay at the Hosteller during our trip to Chikmangalur. Room was clean and the service was nice. The team was very friendly, professional and helpful throughout our stay. Raising service request through their Glu app is eassy where one can order food, request room service, book for local activities etc. The property is located amid coffee plantation and a perfect location for those who want to spend weekend away from the city hustle and bustle.

The location was a little far from the city but was serene. Surrounded by the summer blossoms. The food was absolutely delicious. There were only veg options but very well maintained kitchen area. The staffs were very kind enough to share all the information and helped with the bike rental. It was very convenient for us. Overall stay experience is great!

There was no AC in the rooms. One might think that its a hill station and an ac is not necessary however the summer time is too hot to manage only with fans.

Damp! I don't know if it was because of when we were staying as it was rainy/cloudy, but any towels or laundry really hardly dried in the room or hung up in the laundry area. Bed felt lightly damp when you got in it at night, as there was excess moisture in the room

I had a pleasant stay and the hospitality. Govinda (Property manager) has really taken care of the guests very well and was available whenever it's needed even in the late nights and all the time with the amenities. Also Gayatri and baby (House keeping staff) are so supportive and maintain the cleanliness of the property. Highly recommend this place for a pleasant stay and workstation.
