I recently had the pleasure of staying at Muscatel Roma with a group of friends for three nights. Our party of eight had a fantastic experience, largely thanks to the warm and friendly hotel staff. Mr. Philip, in particular, stood out for his exceptional assistance, making our stay even more enjoyable. But elders, keep in mind that the hotel is situated on a 1-minute steep slope; for young people, it's negligible. I highly recommend Muscatel Roma to anyone visiting Darjeeling – a truly memorable experience awaits. I would rate it 5/5 stars.

The location was a good and short distance from the Mall Road. The room size was big enough compared to other places in the surrounding areas. Moreover, the rooms came with heating mattresses with the beds which is very much required and comfortable while living in Darjeeling. The rooms had geysers and basic toiletries: soap, shampoo, and shower gel.

The view from the room wasn't entirely up to our expectations. However, given the price, it can be overlooked. The bedsheets could have been slightly more cleaner as we found some spots on them. Once, there was no electricity and there was no backup generator.

The location is excellent. It's just a 10 min walk from Mall road. The rooms are very tidy and clean. Washrooms are also super clean. A very surprising thing is that you will get a bed heater which I think is very essential.

The dining area is not available here. You can order food from their centralised kitchen and they deliver food to your room within 45 mins but you have to eat in your room. I find this is very annoying at least they should open the dining area.

Excellent and caring staff. Nikhil invested a lot of effort in bringing us warm milk for the baby several times, and gave personal attention to whether we are taken care of during breakfast - personal attention making you feel warm and welcome. Samiksha from front desk ensured we have everything needed. Room is modest but you have the facilities needed - all day hot water, electric bed warmer, etc.

The last 100 meters of the road to the hotel is steep and narrow. To be taken into account if you have a lot of luggage. There is a scope for finding an alternative to the naphthalene balls in the bathroom. Something else could be used for cleanliness. Naphthalene fumes are not good for aroma or for health.

Considering the price range, the hotel surpassed the majority of other accommodations. The staff displayed remarkable helpfulness and were always prepared to assist. Moreover, the cleanliness of the hotel was commendable.

The location fell short of expectations, despite its proximity to the taxi stand. The main drawback is its position on a steep road, making it challenging to navigate, particularly for older individuals. It is advisable to avoid this location if you are traveling with elderly people.

Manish was an EXCEPTIONAL guy !!! The kind of services he provided were Superb !! All the staffs were EXCELLENT ... The room got upgraded which unexpectedly made us happy after a tiring journey ... Deepshikha at the Front Office was also tremendously helpful !!! All in all, a satisfying stay and would definitely recommend everyone to stay there ... Cheers guys 😊 I am sorry I forgot the name of the person who upgraded our room on the first day 😊 ... He was also very friendly and cooperative ...

We had an amazing stay at the Muscatel Hotel! We were greeted by a friendly staff member, Saleem and Bhavna, who made us feel right at home. They were very helpful and accommodating and made sure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms were clean and well-equipped with all the amenities we needed.The staff was knowledgeable and attentive. Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay.

Located midtown, big brand and a new fresh launch promises a lot and your expectations rise through the roof but my own personal experience in Just restricting myself to the hotels, even the afternoon gin was serve The pasta cheese tasted too fermented. The platter was nothing that you would expect in a upmarket joint. Don’t want to sound like an agony aunt, but the bottom line is: That this place looks and feels like a better bunch of amateur learning the ropes rather than a professional set up. If you are looking for dining experience, this is not the place, at least not yet. Get your act together guys… you can do much better. Thanks management team and mis bhawana

Big comfortable bed and good size room. Good amenities, kettle, tea and mugs provided. Good huge geyser. Very close to mall road and accessible location no stairs to get to the hotel.

Very cold room. They have electric blankets available at an extra cost. Expensive breakfast, but tasty.

We were accamodated in the best available room by the receptionist (missing her name sorry, starts with S). She was kind enough to help us out with extra privileges as it was raining badly. Safar too is a wonderful steward, he is on his toes to make guests happy and comfortable

Would hv been good if a room heater and mosquito repellent cld be made available
