The overall cleanliness of the hotel and rooms was impressive. The staff was exceptionally polite—perhaps one of the most courteous teams I’ve come across. The room furniture was good, and amenities like a heater were promptly provided when asked. Breakfast was a highlight, offering a wide range of options such as chole bhature (the best), aloo parathe, and puri bhaji, along with omelettes, fruits, and juices. The dining area was clean and beautifully designed, with polite servers and stunning mountain views of Mussoorie. The rooftop seating area (though the café is permanently closed) provided breathtaking views. Parking was available at no extra cost, and the hotel’s location in the heart of the city was very convenient. Unmarried couples are allowed, which adds to the comfort and inclusivity.

The Wi-Fi was very slow, making it impossible to work; I had to rely on my own 5G network (though network coverage was good). For the price of ₹4000 per day, I expected a smart TV and faster Wi-Fi, even though it was clear the TVs were non-smart. The bathroom shower was clogged and lacked proper water pressure, which was disappointing. While shower gel, shampoo, and moisturiser were available, the taps were broken and not smooth, which was a significant letdown. Additionally, although we booked a mountain-view room with a balcony, the view was blocked by a building, so the view that could have been spectacular was unfortunately hindered.

Cleanliness, ambience, staff behaviour, peacefulness was good. Rooms and lobby area were bright. Power backup is always there. Breakfast was tasty, nutritious and fresh. But their breakfast menu remains almost same everyday. Their terrace is welll maintained and full of plants and lighting. They even have a beautiful seating area there, where one can chill with friends or family or just have a 'me time' alone.

Location wise it was a bit uncomfortable as public transport is mostly available only after walking about a mile. Better come with own vehicle. The room where we stayed had a balcony though, but it opens to some showroom or office (no scenic view).

The main attraction is the staff here, especially Mr.Aniket...he is a lovely person and really helps you out with a smile on his face. The hotel is really nice with kind and good people.Its a complete value for money. Very close to the paltan bazar and almost all the major markets. There isn't much of a view of the mountains since its on the main road and closer to the city. Its a new hotel and so its very very clean.

Its a value for money...the bedsheets could have been a bit cleaner...and a mat outside the bathroom would help, so that the room doesn't get wet. Other than that, there is nothing bad/ negative i can think of... I loved the place and the people.People in Dehradun seem really friendly and nice...and so are the people @ Alaya...

Excellent stay at Hotel Alaya - we stayed there for two nights and the hospitality was beyond our expectations. The cleanliness of the the rooms, polite nature of all the individuals be it front desk or those in the dining area was amazing and beyond what we thought we would be getting. The value of money is great - getting such excellent service at this price point is just the kind of value customers look for!

Great location, with good ammeinities & comfortable rooms.

The rooms were a little cold at night but the staff were happy to provide us with a heater. Unfortunately, my bathroom did not have hot water, so I had to use my travel partner's bathroom.

They have separate AC in the room which you can adjust as per your need. Staff is friendly and hotel location is good as it is near to mall, bakery and few good shops within 1 km range. Great terrace top, view from terrace is still great. Base room come with balcony. Good stay in budget.

Food options are limited in breakfast and they have outsource/third party restaurant which provide very costly food. Complimentary upgrades are tough to get. View from hotel is gone as there is new construction going on. Room and bathroom size is small as compared to other in nearby areas like lemarq. You can smell smoke in lobby during night time as rooms are not categorised as smoking / non smoking so plan accordingly.

Excellent room, clean, parking space. Location is perfect bang on Rajpur road. Wonderful market at walking distance. Overall stay in the hotel was awesome. Staff was courteous and helpful too.

Centrally located that makes it convenient to travel to local sightseeing points. Food is good and quantity sufficient. Dining room staffs are excellent.

Excellent location, very close to all the food chains and main markets and right next to a mall and hardly fifty yards to Ellora Nany's bakery and cafe. Wonderful polite and helpful staff right from the front desk to the dining area. Spotlessly clean bathroom. Very spacious room with very comfortable bed and amenities. Even the corridors and waiting area were excellent and always clean. Limited breakfast options but everything was delicious and served promptly by wonderful staff manning it and we loved it. We drove there and there was secure parking place available for our car. Last but not the least excellent value for money and worth every penny spent.
