This is a boutique hotel that has a big heart. The rooms are decently spacious (the upgraded rooms are even better). The service is attentive and polite. Special mention of the chef who made us some amazing p Pan Asian food. The hotel was kind enough to give us a better rate upon our return to the property post our trek. Slightly expensive but well worth it

They are facing power outages and it does take rather long for the DG to start. Might be a good idea to revisit the settings for a smoother transition during outages

We planned a small vacation with our 2 month old baby at Dehradun. We wanted a hotel with every possible thing we might need for the baby at an arm's length and Hyatt Centric was a natural choice. This property is present on the most popular street of the city - Rajpur Road with all popular shopping brands, shopping malls, movie theatres, restaurants, all within a few steps. The business of the area doesn't disturb the peace inside the hotel. The hotel has an in-house restaurant which provides multi cuisine food. We tried a different cuisine on all the 3 nights we stayed there and we loved the food there, more than the food we couldn't thank enough the staff there for their warmth and hospitality. We did face a small hicupps with the in-room services, but when we raised the issues with authorities, they did put in all their efforts in brining back smiles to our faces, only bigger smiles this time. I with full confidence can say each time I go to Dehradun, I am staying with them and would totally recommend this to all. All thanks to the GM Mr. Ajit Singh Gandhi and his wonderful team

the breakfast was excellent. lots of variety. the view from the restaurant was excellent. It was very well located next to one of the largest mall's in Dehradun.

We arrived by train late in the evening. Dehradun railway station does not have taxis in the evening. The hotel should offer pick up for clients after 6 pm

RESTAURANT: I ate noodles, garlic flavor. Got food poisoning. As I am a physician I know this was the source of infection. It has Bacillus cereus contaminated. This happens when we reheat fried food/rice also noodles. Usually this will go away within 24 hours but its been 48 hours still its feel like tap open below. hoping tomorrow may be a better day. I did not call a food inspector as my time was limited.

The Location of the hotel is at the heart of the city and near Mall so you can enjoy shopping and dinner until late night. The staffs are so friendly and helpful. They can recommend the interested place to visit and inform us about the information. There are many kinds of food and international menu with varies of deserts. Last day stay, they serve us with awesome cake.

The traffic around the hotel is so busy especially after working hour. We spent 30 minutes for only 1 km to hotel.

The hospitality was great. Great staff. Rajeev and the team during breakfast were fantastic. They ensured every guest was taken care of.

The soundproofing in the hotel is not great. There was an engagement party the night we stayed and the walls were echoing for a long time until the party ended. Not the mistake of the staff but more of a construction issue.

Room number 218 there is a jacuzzi in the bathroom .you have to climb 3 steps into the jacuzzi and then huge step down.this is very dangerous and any one can take a fall. Also the jacuzzi is dilapidated.also there is no grab handle to get in and out You should remove the jacuzzi/tub and have a normal bathing area at the bathroom level

Food ordered at the Restaurant was terrific and the Service too. Hotel, room, facilities, location all were terrific too :).

Breakfast buffet was quite tasteless and even after specific instructions, was just about ok.

The house keeping staff Praveen Verma was exceptionally helpful and courteous, was really impressed with his services ( at 11pm he was more than happy to clean our room where we by mistake had put the do not disturb sign on ) ! Keep it up

The rooms with balcony are not great (inside court balcony), I have been upgraded but just saying.
