Recently renovated, well maintained property with stellar caretakers and owners. Beautiful friendly dogs. Pranav and Rashi (hosts) were super helpful and wonderful guides with abundant knowledge of the region and its people. Pankaj bhaiyya (cook), Sumitji ( caretaker) were hospitable and stellar people. Super coffee!

The stay at Evolve was very comfortable. Planned for a few days and ended up staying for a couple of weeks. It is located between Bhagsu and Dharamkot at just 10 mins walk from either of the main markets. Good outdoor seating area to work and chill, good food from the kitchen and amazing vibe amidst nature in this fairly new hostel in town. Will definitely be back here!

A very quiet getaway from the hustle bustle of the city, it's close to McLeod Ganj, it's around 25 min walk to McLeod Ganj square, or you can get a cab for Rs. 200 each way (2023 rates), and 5 min walk to Dharamkot, you have plenty of good restaurants to choose from nearby places. The other tourist places are also nearby, you can visit Bir (for paragliding), Triund trek, Bhagsu waterfall, St. John's church, Naddi view point etc... The hosts are good, and you can reach them or the staff, you get meals at very reasonable rates. All in all a very good stay for our family. For the price that we paid, it's a good bargain.

We went at the start of winter, so you need to hire a heater additionally (at a small cost), the bathroom does not have a shower curtain so don't expect a dry bathroom.

I had a lovely stay here! The location is between Baghsu and Dharamkot which allowed me to explore both areas as well as McLeod Ganj which was about a 25 min walk. The owners are super nice and are knowledgeable about the area. They’re always willing to address your needs and provide really great recommendations for the town. A special shout-out to Pankaj, the chef, who makes very delicious meals. The dinners taste just like homemade food, which I loved - my only regret is that I couldn’t stay back another night to have dinner there.

I was there in November so it did get quite cold there, but they have hot showers and evening bonfires which was nice

Had a fantastic stay at Eevolve. The property is lovely, located in lower Dharamkot, and surrounded by deodar and Himalayan cherry trees. It is a short,scenic walk from here to the main square of Mcleodganj.  The room was comfortable, the staff very helpful and friendly. The hostel has a nice vibe, breakfast and the evening bonfire is an opportunity for the everyone in the hostel to interact with one another. I also really appreciated their policy of not supplying plastic bottles.  I will definitely be staying here again.

Comfortable hostel which is located in a peaceful woodland setting. They light a fire in the evening which is a nice place to sit around and socialise. I stayed in a private room which was a nice space. Staff were helpful with things like organising taxis and for giving walking directions into town. There is a cafe at the hostel and it is convenient to be able to have food there as most cafes are a walk away and during the winter some are closed. The food at the cafe is quite good - some dishes better than others :) overall it is a nice place to stay and it is nice to be walking distance to Dharamkot (5 mins) and McLeod Ganj (30 mins), but at the same time to have the peace and tranquility of staying in a quit place

I went during the winter, and it was pretty cold. This is to be expected and there is an extra blanket available in the room which was needed. There is an option to pay extra for a plug in heater - which I did have and helped a bit - but it still was quite cold. It would be good if there were better heaters available for the room. In general the people working at the hostel were nice - but I thought some could have been a bit friendlier to be honest

We had a great time in Eevolve hostel. I think the location was perfect for us, who did mostly everything by walk. Close to Bhagsu and Dharamkot villages, Mcloed Ganj is also easily reachable by walk. Plus the forest surroundings were giving a quiet feeling to the place. The common spaces were also a plus. The staff was friendly and attentive to our queries.

That is not the hostel people fault, but we faced issues because of the noise of people hanging out on the terrace for hours. Our first room was just above that place. Then we were shifted to the other side in another room, and that was way more better. I suggest if you look for a restful guesthouse, be aware of asking for a room situated away from the terrace side.

Great quiet location within a short walking distance from the main attractions of MacLeod Ganj and Baghsu. The community of travellers staying at this hotel is really what makes it special and we have made many friends over our 6 night stay.

The best hostel in mcleodganj with a serene and peaceful location away from the crowd of mcleodganj. The owners and the staff were welcoming and supportive. The overall environment of the hostel is very positive and friendly.
