Hotel Golden Crest provides good facilities to give a comfortable stay along with homely foods. The staff are very cooperative especially Vikas , Munna & Dinesh as they are always ready to assist you. Dinesh helped in arranging and providing cab for local tour. The location is nearby MG road and gives a pleasant view of the Mountains Highly recommended for your stay in Gangtok..

The hotel staff is very friendly and ready to help. The hotel room is comfortable and clean. The view is nice from the room if you get upper floors. The hotel is about 2.5 km from MG Road market which according to me is walkable but you can easily get a taxi for 50 bucks a person. So it's neither in a very crowded location nor is it too far from the centre. Overall a good experience and I would love to stay there again.

The staff was very understanding as we were on a cycling trip, they kept our cycle inside and also gave us an additional upgrade as my partner was a female and we were not related, an additional mattress was given to me as complimentary. They never made any excuses in terms of service.

The tv noise gets echoed through the hall, after asking they said they cannot do anything before 11 pm and the tank was beside the room which made some weird noises.

1. The lift is small and old 2. MG Marg is about 3 KMs away and one has to take a cab from the hotel to reach MG Marg 3. Car parking is too small.

The view from 404... i wont forget. The non veg restaurant made us forget meat for several days... the staff all of them are great!

The heater could have been complimentary as the room price is already high.

The breakfast included had a lot of variety and was in buffet format.It was tasty for all the three days we stayed here. Options like dosa , aloo poori, idli, aloo paratha were available.The staff was prompt and courteous, and responded well to all our requests.. Rooms were clean and spacious, especially the bathroom which was well-furnished and equipped.

It is a little far from the market, around 2.5 km away. The mattresses were spring ones, so they gave us a sore back and were not comfortable.
