My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Khyber, and we were thoroughly impressed with the exceptional hospitality and myriad offerings of this remarkable property. This opulent property is located in a beautiful natural setting, with stunning views of the Himalayas and gardens in proximity of the property. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous. The highlight of our stay was the care that we received from every member of staff that we came across. They were all very warm and spared no effort to make our stay as comfortable as possible! Special mention must be made of Duty Manager Irfan Hussain, who delivered an exceptional level of service and significantly enhanced our overall experience. He was ably supported by his diligent team, who took great care in attending to our needs. In summary, The Khyber surpassed our expectations in every aspect, and my family and I were absolutely delighted with our stay. The Khyber exemplifies hospitality at its finest, and we highly recommend it.

Room upgrade to the one with balcony was a pleasant surprise & a very sweet gesture from the reservation desk team. Thanks a lot! There is a complementary hi-tea upto 5:30 pm, which is great again. Room sizes are good. Ample storage space for luggage/suitcases. Location is higher up compares to rest all properties. Makes it peaceful & exclusive. Really liked the live musical performances with sitar, santoor. And also the fireplace in the lobby. Temperature controlled swimming pool is luxurious with stunning backdrops!

There can be central heating in the corridors/passages too. The dinner buffet can have more variety, specially non-veg starters. The staff in the restaurant looked more stressed & transactional, both during dinner & breakfast buffet. At the sametime, the usher ladies had great & cheerful attitude. Can add one more check-in desk. Currently only 2 desks leading to longer waiting time esp during peak seasons.. Small fire-pot/fire place in the balcony can help utilise the balcony during snow season.

The location, staff and ambience were top of the line. Pricey as expected, but otherwise, everything you could ask for. The food at Brava, The Italian restaurant was superb. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and fabulous too. All the staff were awesome and always happy to oblige for even the smallest request. Totally recommended. Best place to stay in Gulmarg!

The prices were 5 star. A half board package would be nice. Otherwise, nothing to dislike.

Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. Staff like Hilal was very cooperative and attentive. His recommendations were good. He and his team took care of us very well.

Only complaint we all had was AC was not there in the rooms. Due to hot summer this year customers would prefer AC. Or you should have screen (net) behind the glass doors so cool air can be rec’d while the glass doors can be opened.

All the staff are very polite and courteous. Breakfast was amazing. Great spread. Pan Asian and Multi Cuisine restaurants were nice. The pan Asian menu is a little limited.

Everything was amazing. There is nothing that I did not like.

The location was very good. The property was well maintained. The staff most of them were very good and friendly. The food was awesome. The room was good sized. The Himalayan view rooms were excellent. The swimming pool was also nice.

There was a weird smell in the Bathroom which after complaining also couldn’t be rectified. Some staff very few one or two especially the incharges in the restaurant were acting differently. And the health facets should have hot water for the price of the room.

Excellent location, breathtaking views, Amicable staff, Fantastic amenities, Mr Faizal in the multi-cuisine restaurant was very good and served us very well, we cere extremely happy with his service

The jacuzzi in the female amenities room near the pool was not as clean and maintained as we can expect from this resort, also would have loved a family jacuzzi to spend time with family members

The hospitality staff exceeded my expectations, especially the servers, they were truly outstanding.

There was not much to select from when choosing what to eat, compared to the prices what the place charges the food is not lavish enough nor are there enough options. I feel the hotel should have a personal photographer on hire like other major hotels across the world, as it is located in a very beautiful scenic location.

My mum and I stayed at Khyber for 2 nights. The property is beautiful, but what bowled us over was the wonderful 10/10 service we received. A special mention to: - F&B: Aadil Ashraf, Bilal, Imran, Rahul, and all the support staff - Housekeeping Manager, Abhishek - Ishaan at front office - Owais at front office, and his trainee colleague who helped with our bags The Khyber team provided stellar service, with great attention to detail. We were enthralled by the many conversations we had with them, which made our stay, truly memorable! Thank you so much, I take back wonderful memories, and hope to visit again, soon.

It was perfect!

Khyber is an exceptional mountain gem. From the hospitality to the food to the ambience, a rare mix of perfection and the staff - at par with the best (Oberoi's for me). The heated swimming pool with an all glass facade makes the place even more magical ! And we got the season's first snowfall on our first night :) Setting standards for Indian hospitality
