The hotel is luxurious and the staff are well trained and welcoming. Breakfast is a feast, offering food types from around the world. We had a large Club Room and enjoyed the evening supper and drinks at the Marco Polo Lounge. Most guests seemed to be business people, in small groups, and the tone of the Club was quiet and relaxing, but a tad serious. We were tourists, and appreciated the genuine warm welcome we received each night from Azmat. Azmat always welcomed us with a big smile and remembered our seating and wine preferences. He was the brightest spirit in the room and always made our visit special, without overwhelming the general atmosphere of the Club. As we were first time tourists to Hyderabad, we were grateful for the advice and help received from the Concierge Kishore. He organised cars and drivers for us, and provided suggestions and clarification of the sites we planned to visit. In particular, he clarified the visiting rules for the former British Residency, which we had high on our list of places to see. He phoned a travel colleague and completely reversed the visiting arrangements which are to be found generally online. We were so grateful to him.

The property has an old world charm. Rooms are spacious. Property is near Hussain Sagar lake, and has a large swimming pool. Service and restaurants are good. Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills and Ameerpeth are all in close proximity.

The air conditioner was not working properly. Room became hot at night. Inspite of maintenance crew trying to fix it problem was not resolved. I had asked for a take away breakfast on day of departure. There was a cockroach in the parcel! Returned it immediately 😞

Good rooms. Spacious. The massage lounge chair in the room was a nice bonus. Very good breakfast. Overall very courteous staff. My room booking included free lounge happy hours, which was a good bonus.

Overall a good experience, so these are more minor nitpicks. With breakfast rush, service tends to become slow. For dinner, there could have been more vegetarian and kid-friendly options.

Beautiful property, excellently maintained. It even smelled nice. The staff were kind, thoughtful and thoroughly pleasant to deal with. I have stayed at this property before and it continues to live up to its reputation and my expectations. Staff was very friendly and courtious . From the doorman till the room service perople. At the reception / hostess especially were very happy accomadating my aged parents Rooms are well maintained. The pool was also good.

We paid more then premium almost 17k a night because of the demand. Room was originally 13k pllus taxes. Payment options were a little tricky due to upi restrictions. Not all rooms had the same equipment.

The breakfast spread was really very nice and the staff are very courteous and thoughtful. The room was silent and peaceful.

The shower facilities in the room could have been better, there is no handheld shower head and due to space constraints the main shower is directed in the bath tub itself.

I had opted for breakfast on all 4 days. And all the days breakfast was same, only 1 dish use to change. No special discount for in-house guest for 31st December event. No welcome drink or any other thing on arrival which other hotels provide.

The hotel staff was very accommodating of our requests and the amenities we're absolutely perfect. The spa facilities were exactly what we needed to relax. The buffet breakfast had a lot of variety and we loved that they had different blends of fresh pressed juices. The room we booked came with complimentary drinks at the bar and the staff at the bar were so amicable. All the cocktails were delicious. Definitely will visit again!
