We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived at the hotel The power went out when we got to the roof terrace ..but this only added to the welcome as the fort, which is right beside the hote,l was still lit up and looking stunning... we were giving chai and fruit while we waited for the power to come back on. This was only 10 minutes or so. Our room was very comfortable with nice furnishings and a stunning view of the fort out of the beautiful windows.The hotel building is rather lovely. We had breakfast up on the terrace which was all included and we could watch the cooking being done which was really interesting. Nawab looked after us for sure and we felt very comfortable staying here.He even took us out to meet his family and eat with them - which is something that will stay with us for a long time ! The location right beside the fort is a huge plus as it is a short walk up the hill and the fort is not to be missed ! Have no hesitation on recommending the Kings Villa as a nice stay in Jaisalmer.

bathroom is very clean We had a really nice welcoming with a free tea at the roof top with amazing views of the city. The staff was really helpfull helping us with directions or tu understand the trains in india. The room was nice, beutiful and clean with everything to cover our needs. Also the shower was as hot-warm as you wish They allowed us to keep our lugagge in the hotel after the check out… To summarize: 100% recomended with the best quality-prize we could imagine. nawab is nice parsan in this hotel 🛏️

Location - located very close to the fort and its a peaceful location Rooms- It's a newly constructed property. It looks exactly like shown in the picture. Rooms are quite spacious and decorated with vibrant traditional rajasthani decor. It is very clean and well maintained. Toilets are tidy with geyser facility. The bed is super comfortable and most rooms hav a nice balcony. Food - tried poha , Paratha , pasta , biryani and it was good. Hospitality - We initially checked in at 3am due to train delay and unfortunately as rooms were not clean , the staff apologized and was kind enough to waver off the room rent. Nawab is a very wonderful host who guided us throughout our stay. Overall i must say it was one my best stays in rajasthan. Thanks to kings villa family. Would definitely recommend this stay to anyone visiting Jaisalmer.

Staying in Kings Villa gave us the unique opportunity to experience something we would otherwise have not, I would come again any time. We were welcomed by free pick up from the bus, a flowery necklace and some chai. In the evening the host showed us his own and another desert village near by, we had dinner on the fire. We were also helped with organizing our stay in the desert the next days. The rooms are spacious and clean. The rooftop terrace is s great place to relax and have some chai with a great view of the fort. If you are going to Jaisalmer, my recommendation is to go here

I have stayed 2 nights in this hotel and I will definitely return if i have the opportunity. The hotel is outside the fort with a magnificent terrace where you can see the beautiful Jaisalmer fort. The hotel has pickup transfer from train station to the hotel included with the price. Room is very big and furnished in Jaisalmer style with colorful blankets, yellow walls and modest windows. You really feel the atmosphere (10 over 10). In my room was missing the wardrobe, but wasn't a problem and the bathroom is ok with hot shower. Staff (10 over 10) is incredible nice, especially Vijay. He speaks really good English, is friendly and simple person. The whole staff and the owner are chill guys and they always want you to feel home. Get suggestions from them. They have good connection with guides, shops and they will always accomodate what you ask. Desert safari for Foreigners: If you are not from India and you want to try the desert safari, talk to the staff and they will organise a nice experience different to what other people offering. They knows what they foreigners ask and they will provide the best experience. They have wifi, but the signal wasn't strong enough on my room, but they have sorted for me. They have breakfast option and the can serve continental breakfast (omelette, taost jam and chai). I really recommend this place if you are backpacker, adventure couple and you want to spend 2/3 nights here.

– We had a 1-night stay in this hotel and the overall experience was very good! The staff was helpful and helped us with all the small requests as well. Our room was clean and the facilities were in a good condition. We had a small hot water issue, but the staff solved it right away, which was very helpful. Breakfast was also nice. We had our dinner and tea on the rooftop terrace of the hotel, where we could enjoy the night view of the Jaisalmer Fort.

Oll is super cool

Hotel staff was charming and accommodating. They provided free pickup from the local bus stand, the rooms were clean + spacious, and the hotel is within walking distance of the Jaisalmer fort. After spending a night at the hotel, we went on a camel safari and upon coming back they were kind enough to let us use a room to rest and shower for a couple of hours for free! Definitely above and beyond service and they make you feel like part of a family. Heartily recommend this hotel to anyone passing through Jaisalmer.

Room: The room is amazing. So comfortable. We had our chilling area in the room and the bed was soooo comfortable. They upgraded us to the deluxe room. So friendly. :) Staff: The best staff ever. They are really friendly. Especially the manager! He was so helpful all the time and soooo so friendly. :) His English was very good and he was smiling all the time. Such an amazing guy! Restaurant: The food is really good and there's lots of variety. We didn't eat anywhere else in Jaisalmer. The area is really comfortable and the decor is great. The staff was attentive - the perfect amount of it. Not too much and not too little. Camel safari in the desert: The safari was great. We chose the one where we slept under the sky. For the both of us (a couple) two mattresses and 3 blankets have been provided. It was not cold at all. The sand under the mattress gets warm when you sleep. They prepared dinner and made a fireplace. Such an original experience. It really was great.

Very nice person hotel in jaisalmer

Really loved my stay in Jaisalmer and a huge reason was the people around us. Everyone in this guesthouse is friendly, helpful and really care for you to feel welcome and safe. They go the extra mile to accomodate you, and i just felt so looked after. The rooms are beautiful!! Rooftop is very nice too. Good wifi and clean everywhere. I truly felt like home 🥰 was sad to leave!

I can't think of anything i wasn't happy with

Couldn’t be better! Five minutes walk from the bus station, meters away from cheap local food. The entrance to the fort is also five minutes walk. The rooftop has a fantastic terrace with a great view of the fort. Very attentive service, my wife and I were invited several times for tea and food during our stay. Great local experience!

It can get a bit chilly at night (we were there in January) but we were quickly offered warm blankets.
