Breakfast was good. I do not eat processed foods but eat whole foods. For breakfast I used to have eggs, vegetables, beans curry. Lunch: I used to have buffet lunch. There was good selection for me; vegetables, bhindi and chana mixed together, dal tadka, Chana masala, Quinoa Room: Nice big room, one big table and nice big TV. Staff: Excellent and helpful staff, who went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. Saphi and Bigyan were always there to help me. I had a chat with Bigyan on eating healthy foods. Nandini gave me excellent spa treatment.

I would recommend having millet preparations everyday. The hotel is relatively new, and has up-to-date facilities. It is quite close to the airport and a 20-minute rickshaw rise to the main temple. The staff were very obliging and accommodating. The suite was clean and comfortable.

It’s almost impossible to get away from noise in India. The hotel itself is set back from the main road so is quiet but the rooms could be better sound-proofed. More flexible dining hours in the restaurant would be appreciated but like many other places dinner is served starting at 7pm (although the bar can offer decent dishes).

The hotel is simply great, the rooms are huge, very clean, comfortable, furnished with modern style. The staff is very kind and helpful. We got small welcome and goodbye gifts, and we could do a late check-in at no additional cost. The hotel also offers many amenities, including a pool and a well-equipped gym. The absolute highlight is the restaurant. We were tired and not in the mood to go to the city for dinner, so we opted for the buffet in the restaurant: one of the best meals we had in India! For a totally reasonable price it offers a huge selection of great quality food. Everything was fresh, many dishes were even prepared directly in front of the guests. Even the bread is made there. The restaurant is open to the public and people come from outside for the buffet. Don’t miss it! The breakfast didn’t disappoint either, a similar buffet is offered and is truly the best breakfast we had in India. You can choose between plenty of south Indian, north Indian and international options.

The hotel is in fact outside the city, and you need to take a taxi to get into Madurai. Unfortunately, Uber doesn’t work well in Madurai. The hotel staff kindly suggested using RedTaxi instead, which works similarly and have many more options in Madurai. Due to its position, the view from the rooms, even when facing the city, is not the best.

Totally recommended. Its a genuine 5 Star Hotel. We were welcomed with welcome drink and garlands. Staff was very kind and friendly. Receptionist, guards, housekeeping, waiters etc all were equally polite. They have provided us whatever we have asked for. Room were big, neat and clean. Hotel smells fantastic. We were also given small gift while checking out. Swimming pool is neat and clean. Gym reception was very helpful to show me around. We also got free 15 min foot massage from bodhi spa. Free foot massage was amazing. Breakfast was also perfect. Lots of variety to eat. Its a new hotel and i definitely recommend this hotel.

Everything. No complaints. We had booked 4 rooms for 3 nights for the family. Brand new property, only seven months old. Staff were friendly and excellent. I complained about noisy bed we were given different room without questions. Breakfast was excellent, didn't get opportunity to try either lunch or dinner. Rooms were really good and bedding was comfortable. Not far from airport. Will stay again.

Nothing to note. One suggestion though. Shower tiled floor gets slippery, will be good to have some non slip shower mats for use, especially for older people, will avoid falls and injuries.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Grand Madurai in Madurai, and I must say it was an outstanding experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and efficient service. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with all the necessary amenities. The comfortable bed and the quiet atmosphere ensured a restful night’s sleep. The view from the room was lovely, adding to the overall pleasant ambiance. One of the highlights of my stay was the dining experience. The hotel’s restaurant offered a diverse menu with delicious local and international dishes. The breakfast buffet was particularly impressive, featuring a wide array of options to suit all tastes. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The hotel’s location is perfect for exploring Madurai. It is conveniently situated near major attractions like the Meenakshi Amman Temple and the Thirumalai Nayakkar Palace. The staff was also helpful in providing recommendations and arranging transportation.

Bad odour in hall way

Fabulous stay at this hotel . Couldn't be at a better place for New Year's Eve celebrations in Madurai than this hotel. From our room on the 4th floor, we had a sensational fireworks view of the city at midnight. Their staff were extremely professional, courteous, and caring. Morning breakfast covered a delicious cuisine range. Inhouse spa services we used and it was quite refreshing and relaxing to our tired bodies. We recommend this place to anyone traveling to Madurai. We shall definitely come back here if we ever return to Madurai.

Nothing as such to highlight.

Staff - courteous, great attitude and friendly Pusa Thai was great, Jeyapandian helpful besides Mohan and chef Venkat. All were staff were lovely besides the above who served us well

Food - the choice for vegetarians, and subdivisions such as Jain food is super limited. The taste also was lacking. Also there is only one restaurant which can get choatic as it can accomodate a full house. I hope they can open a separate veg restaurant with more choices of food. Also breakfast can be more organised as very crowded and needing to wait for refills
