The breakfast had a good variety of options. The location is the usp of this resort. Special mention for Riva Resort staff whom we found extremely hard working and polite. (Suzanne, Priya, Shalini, Deepa, Vasudev, Simon) well done, Salil from restaurant ensures every guest is comfortable no matter the crowd. Good facilities like gym, spa, kayaking and multiple pools available in the resort. Icing on the cake was live Music by Arif Aslam (A square band).

The non vegetarian options in the breakfast were restricted to 2 items and could have more. The room wasn’t that great either it was facing the outer side of the property which was basically wasteland. The rooms are small, congested and you can feel dampness in the room. WiFi didn’t work.

The location is excellent , it's right next to the beach. It's very calm and peaceful , the facilities in room are very good. We have been coming here from last few years, it's our fourth time here. The only problem is it's very far from city centre

The food options are few and very expensive. There is lot of room for improvement. As I have seen there were lot of families with kids, the resort can provide sand play sets, like sand castle making and rubber tubes to play in pool, they should provide rubber door mat to trap sand at main door, bcoz every time we come from beach even after washing our legs and slippers there would be lot of sand in our room, if there was a rubber mat at main door before entering the room, it would trap the sand at the door only.

It's quiet a big property so the services and maintenance gets little compromise though if you ask for the staff is always keen to help. Property must instruct the upper floor guest not to make noise specially in the night.Since floors are of wood so if anyone walks during the mid night it is scary.We had a crazy incident because this we felt the property is haunted however security was prompt enough to intervene and resolve the issue at 03.00 AM.

A good resort in general, very close to the beach. The breakfast is good, though not incredible. The employees are kind and happy to help. The ambiance is calm with no noise, making it perfect for families and couples

The first room offered to us had a strong unpleasant smell, as if it had recently been painted or had been closed for a long time. In the new room, which we had no problem switching to, the view was terrible—actually, there was no view at all, as a wall was right in front of our room. If you're looking for privacy, this room is a good choice. However, if you enjoy a good view, I would recommend avoiding this one

The staff was accommodating and attentive. The pool was a lot of fun on rainy days.

The rooms are a bit run down, looks different from the photos. Initially it’s a bit disappointing but slowly you get used to it. The breakfast can have a few more non-spicy options, may be adding some continental options will help. The kids breakfast is a disaster with all sorts of processed sugary foods. Some one has a very twisted idea of what to feed our children.

Location of the resort, safe and easy access to the beach is an highlight.

The non-veg options were very poor and needs a major uplift. The front desk staff could be a little more friendly and provide some information on places of attraction, tentative charges of the car rentals etc. There was a cold response from one of the staff members when I asked a question about what the typical charges would be for a car rental. I don’t think customers would hold Riva accountable for providing information about a third-party service provider.

Location was awesome, lot of options for kids. Swimming pool was well maintained. Beach was very easily accessible and it was pristine. Breakfast and dinner was awesome, lot of options. The staff was courteous and prompt to our requests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

The resort should be elder friendly too. There are too many steps to reach the main area from the entrance. Some railing or support should be provided so that elderly visitors and people with walking disability can climb up and down the stairs easily.

There were plenty of varieties for breakfast. We enjoyed it the most. The location is fabulous. Easy access to beach, many options to eat around. Resort is well maintained too

A mild room freshener can be added to the room. More Swings can be added in the property, specifically in common areas.

The resort was great, very comfortable with large well-appointed rooms. Has 3 Swimming pools and they were amazing.

Breakfast had a wide spread but lacked taste. The beach was ok, no swim zone and not the best beach you will see in Goa. Book it for the resort stay. Everything is far from the resort so will need a car or bike to go around.

The resort itself is very well located. The beach is easily accessible and is quite a nice one at that. The breakfast was excellent with all the usual variety of items one would expect at a lavish breakfast. For our (and I mean Bhartiya vegetarian) palette there were enough options including dosas etc.

I really feel that the room itself could have been better. Maybe time for high quality new mattresses from a brand (Symphony, Sleep Company, etc.) and new sheets. Just the overall ambience of the room could have been better. No complaints as such as it was very much value for money, but a suggestion for future.
