Our stay at Nalanda Retreat was truly peaceful and relaxing. The Hillside Heritage rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully designed with a warm natural touch. The rooms have comfortable beds, private balconies, and everything you need for a comfortable stay. It feels calm and quiet, surrounded by greenery — perfect for rest and reflection. The resort itself is very well maintained and has a beautiful energy. The staff are always kind, helpful, and ready to assist with a smile. The food is fresh, healthy, and delicious, with many options for all tastes. The yoga shalas, spa, and beachside restaurant make Nalanda a perfect place for both relaxation and rejuvenation. Everything is organized with care and attention. Overall, Nalanda Retreat offers a wonderful experience — peaceful, clean, and full of warmth. Highly recommended for anyone looking to relax, recharge, and enjoy a beautiful stay in Goa.

The staff were superb - friendly and knowledgeable about the best places to check out in the area. They basically helped me draft a "Must See" list of local sights, beaches, restaurants, and historical sites to visit. The Chia Lounge onsite was also really cool - great selection of drinks, snacks and right on the beach too! Om, his nephew, and their team have created a vibe and atmosphere that is just a joy to relax in.

Absolutely nothing; everything was perfect as it was. I couldn't think of a single thing that needed improvement, and was thoroughly impressed with everything on offer.

The rooms are good value for the money. But at Nalanda Retreat is not about the rooms, balcony and the pool (besides the pool is very clean and nice), it’s about the spirit and people working at this place. We felt very much welcome and if u got any questions, wishes they support you. The cooks are doing a gorgeous job. We ate nearly every dish on the menu card - every single dish was perfectly spiced - Om, the restaurant supervisor, told us, if there is something we like and it’s not on the menu, ask for that! We did and it was awesome, too. The yoga classes, they are running, are quiet good. Costs are about 7€/$, quiet cheap. They good even in there Yoga Shalas different evening meditations (Sound Healing, Osho-Chakra-Breathing-Meditation, just “Pranayama”…) and these “sensations” are included in the room free. I’ve got to go back to the restaurant supervisor Om - very kind. My mother and had talks once in a while - exchanging life concepts, talking about meditation, Indian / European lifestyle, having ginger-lemon-tea, which is for free, and Whiskey together. Don’t get me wrong folks - Om isn’t intrusive - he is just there and if you like to have a nice chat, he takes his time…it was not our most comfortable stay in Goa, but a stay, we talk about for ages - once ein a while, because of the people we met!

The hotel complex consists of several separate buildings, some are in front of the beach and others further away, ask in which one you are going to stay because the one we stayed in was a bit far away and there was a terrible wifi signal.

I’m delighted to share this review. This place is not just a hotel, it’s a place for people with beautiful soul! Thanks to the hotel owners! They are extraordinarily nice, giving you a feeling being a part of a family! Personal is very friendly and helpful, rooms are very cozy and natural, the food is delicious and healthy which is pretty much rare in most of the hotels that provide buffet breakfasts. Nice pool area, beautiful interior, very relaxing and inspiring environment. Love to stay here

This is a great place for solo travelers. Everyone is so friendly, so welcoming. The venue is just next to a beach that is almost exclusive for the hotel. The food is amazing, and has a really good price. The room has a captivating unique style, surrounded by the beauty and calmness environment of the mountains. If you go to Goa, please stay here.

One of the best resorts in Mandrem , my one day @ beach yoga was great experience, sea view healthy breakfast , spa and evening yoga and day ends with chia restaurant dinner . What a lovely day . Room size is big . I saw few corporate groups mumbai and Delhi, it’s seems to be a rejuvenated Venue . Good luck. I will be back soon . Thank you for amazing experience

The breakfast was great. The restaurant was in the beach and food was healthy and delicious. The rooms were ventilated and large with a lot of room to move around.

The property didn't have an elevator and the room didn't have a refrigerator.

Beautiful Hotel with direct beach access, and best part was the spa and personal yoga sessions . Staff was very helpful and make our stay very comfortable. Food at the beach side restaurant was excellent. A BIG THANK YOU

This property is exceptionally good, rooms are neat and well maintained and staff people are welcoming and always ready to help. Overall i had a wonderful experience and i will definitely come back soon:)
