I loved my room and the way it was arranged. It was clean and tidy. The location of the hotel is very good. Room service and staff were very good and helpful, especially the restaurant staff. An important part of our stay was the evening tea/coffee cart where everybody would gather and could listen to old songs while sipping coffee and chitchatting with fellows. The food in the restaurant was very good.

Construction work was going on just outside our balcony with earthmoving equipment and men. There was a lot of disturbance. The reception people were very reluctant to change our room initially even though it was available next day which finally they did. Due to the work going on outside there was little privacy.

The views are splendid, the service is top-notch, the property is extremely well maintained, pretty and aesthetically pleasing and big, and they serve tasty food at the restaurant which has indoor and outdoor (yet covered) seating with the view of the pool and valley. We booked a 2 bedroom cottage/villa and the rooms as well as the bathrooms were spacious! If you require anything, the staff will respond within minutes. Since we had hired a local cab, we had no issues locating the Resort anyway. The access road is good. They have activities like board games and other stuff but we didn't get the time to explore that. The Resort is about 12 kms away from Munnar city. The Resort is totally worth the price we paid. Would definitely recommend to all.

The spa is good no doubt, but could be a tad bit better. Would have liked oils with better fragrance :D

A unique resort with a unique location and complete privacy when welcoming guests. It has authentic customs for welcoming visitors. The staff are at the forefront of their craft when it comes to dealing with hotel guests. A warm smile never leaves their faces. The breathtaking natural beauty at the top of the high mountains provides visitors with complete comfort while staying with them. Omani coffee is served from the first morning, which is the most important thing. Many thanks to them, from the guard to the staff and finally the hotel management. I truly enjoyed my stay there.

The hotel is clean and the staff is eager to do well although many don't have very good English. The food was very very good. Nice views from the hotel, great maintenance of the gardens surrounding the hotel. I would recommend it.

I think the 5 star rating from Booking is ambitious. The rooms have a rustic feel and are nowhere close to a 4 or 5 star standard. However, from what I could see around, it's probably one of the nicer accommodations in the area. Internet connection is unreliable even inexistant depending on where your room is.

My stay at Fog Munnar was truly exceptional! Nestled in a stunning location, the resort offers breathtaking views . Appreciate the complimentary afternoon tea but the property could do with having some entertainment in the evenings. We booked the property through booking.com around 9 months in advance with the option of paying at the property on arrival. However, the property wanted an advance payment four weeks prior to the stay of INR5000 first and then increased to INR10000 stating it was a busy period. We were happy to pay the advance, but the property did not have facility to accept overseas payments. As it was at last minute the other property prices had gone up, tying us to this venue. We had to seek friends in India to pay. The hotel should have honoured the T & C s laid down by booking.com or at least have a facility to accept overseas payment if they intend to alter the T&S.

Cleanliness was top, staff were very courteous, the view from the hotel room was great, good peaceful location, the food was tasty, healthy and affordable, quality of maintenance and upkeep was superb, decent value for money. Overall great place for a relaxed getaway

Food should reflect Kerala culture more. Also, maybe for the price - couple of extra amenities like better walking space would have made it perfect. But great stay overall.

We stayed in the property for 2 days. I would say we just loved every moment of our stay. The property is beautiful. Rooms are spacious with all the amenities. The staff was very friendly and responsive. The breakfast spread was great. They also served complimentary evening tea. Special mention to Ashish and his team for the exceptional service. I would highly recommend everyone to consider staying in this property if you are in Munnar.

This resort is a great place if you want to spend some relaxed days in the Munnar area. We really liked our villa, the hotel facilities (swimming pool, table socker, …) and the culinary offering (nice breakfast, high tea, great variety of dinner options) that we extended our stay by one night. Highly recommended!!!

As written above: Fog Munnar is great, but I think that the following small details could be improved: - Spa music is playing everywhere. Guests have to listen to the same three piano songs at the lobby, the restaurant, the pool and even while playing table soccer or billiard. Me personally, I got fed up very quickly from this permanent jingling. - The gaming room needs some maintenance (feetless table soccer players, crooked tables, leaking roof, …) - For dinner, we ordered à la carte and always liked the food. However, waiting time was mostly long, even when the restaurant was not very busy.

I wouldn’t recommend the massage, the massage rooms smelled like mould and head massage was kind of weird, pulling my hair, wasn’t a pleasant experience
