Chosen for its location, rather than for its class or cost or luxury level, I am pleased to say that the Iris Park met and indeed exceeded my expectations for a middle-level hotel in suburban Delhi. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the Wi-Fi mostly very good, the staff polite and friendly, and the breakfasts, while not extensive, did vary on a daily basis and were tasty.

I felt the price was perhaps a little on the high side for a mid-level suburban hotel, but not too bad. The Wi-Fi could be patchy within a room (several times, had to stand by the door to get a signal whereas out by the desk there was none).

The room was comfortable and the staff friendly and attentive especially housekeeping and porter services. Breakfast had good daily variety and tasted good. The location was very close to our conference venue thus it was good for us. It was easy to get an Uber to and from the hotel. Overall this was a good stay.

Cleanliness and communication with the hotel could be better. We were supposed to extend our stay but could not due to a miscommunication issue and this impacted our schedule for the day. However this is not to deter anyone from staying here. It was still overall an enjoyable experience.

As I travelled alone, they always took care of my safety and security and helped where needed. Puran Singh deserves a special mention as he was very helpful over and above his duty. The security outside who always assist with my ride. I am really grateful for their kind heartedness and help.

They could improve on their breakfast. The night before I left in the evening of Tuesday, 21/3/23 at 22:10pm there was an Earthquake. I would suggest that they look into evacuation procedures and train their staff in case of an emergency especially seeing that Delhi lies on the same earthquake fault line as Turkey. Most people were asleep and may not have felt it.
