During my 4-day family trip to Ooty, I was seeking accommodations that were slightly away from the town center and allowed us all to stay together. Western Valley turned out to be the ideal choice. Nestled in stunning natural surroundings away from the city's hustle and bustle, it offered a tranquil retreat. The rooms were impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. While the food options were limited, the dishes were delicious, and the breakfast spread was excellent. The property provided relaxing activities such as indoor games, badminton, and cycling. The evening bonfire added a delightful charm to the overall experience. I must commend the staff, who were remarkably professional and helpful. On the day of our arrival, our cab broke down about 30 minutes from the resort, leaving us stranded in the dark on a forest road. When I called the reception, a staff member—whose name I believe might have been Devaraju—immediately offered to assist. He arrived within 30 minutes, ensured we reached the hotel safely, expedited the check-in process, and made sure we could rest after an exhausting ordeal. His dedication and kindness were unparalleled, unlike anything I've experienced at any other hotel. I would wholeheartedly recommend this property to everyone and look forward to revisiting in the future.

I loved the location of the property. The food was also delicious though there were few options, and the service was good. The staff was welcoming, however, there were no welcome drinks. We reached outside the lunch hours, however, we still managed to get Dal and Rice as we were very hungry.

The only thing I didn't like about the property was the facilities. There was just a TT board, chess board, Indoor archery and a Treadmill. That should be improved. Also, as I mentioned earlier, there should be more food options as the property is isolated, so you cannot order from any outside restaurant.

Mr. Mani and Mr. Rajesh took great care of my family during our 3-day stay at Western Valley Resort. The location of the resort is truly remarkable, with mesmerizing views of hills, tea gardens, sunrises, and sunsets. Situated near Ooty, the resort is conveniently close to all major attractions, making day trips hassle-free. The breakfast was delicious, with a different menu every day. The resort's restaurant also caters to your lunch and dinner needs, offering a decent menu considering the distance from the town or other eateries. While the prices were slightly on the higher end, our overall stay was fantastic. Thank you, Western Valley Resort.

The resort has a very scenic view with clear cloud movement. Rooms were very large and spacious and had all the basic ameneties. Room service was great along with all the staffs as they are really helpful and co-operative.

The location was distant from the main Ooty town and the a short part of the road leading to the resort is filled with mud and water making it slightly difficult to manaeuvre to reach the location. The breakfast options could have been more although the food quality and taste was up to satisfaction.

The location is too good. It's 14km far from center ooty however that's the best part . The location is too good it's on hilltop with great view. Perfect for relaxation. Food was good.

Should be made a bit senior citizen friendly. The terrain is uneven due to being in hilltop so can be difficult for senior citizen to climb stairs always. The bathroom had slippery tiles , no handles in bathroom. Had requested for heater they provided a hot small air blower . Considering we stayed in big family room it wasn't sufficient.

The hotel has best location and a wonderful view. Located amongst the lush green tea gardens it possibly has the best location in Ooty although a bit far from main town. From our room we could see a wonderful sunrise. The rooms, facilities and infrastructure are superb. The staff are very courteous and prompt in service. Overall in terms on hotel it cannot be better.

1. Most dislike is the food. Everything, whether South Indian or North Indian is made using the same spices , same oil and have a typical tangy sour taste, even a plate of paneer pakora or a paratha. Breakfast is with very limited choices and even an omelette is overdone and crisply fried. 2. Washrooms need a little upgrade. Shower cubicles are not properly separated. A hotel of this price should have them. A simple shower wets the entire washroom.

The resort was an enchanting place to stay, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty. Nestled just 20 km from the city, it offers convenient taxi services for pick-ups, drop-offs, and sightseeing. The food was absolutely delightful. We cherished the serene and tranquil atmosphere, making our stay truly peaceful and memorable.

The location.... amazing. Amidst the tea estates...a quaint green valley in front of you... Lovely blue mountains in the distance. Sky so blue..... it's like a European tour at the doorstep..... Food... delicious.... courteous n friendly staff Room comfort.... spacious n cozy. Property.....amazing tea estate in the property itself....flowers in bloom....bulbuls, prinias, mynas chirping away to wake you up... Restaurant with a valley view that's out of the world Parking for those like us who self drive... It's quiet....14kms South of Ooty....tucked away in secrecy....a rare gem 💎 indeed

The location is a bit far from mainland Ooty. A getaway from the hustle bustle of city life . The surrounding beauty is captivating with tea gardens all around the property.

The road leading towards the Resort is murky. Since it was raining the road was slippery and potholes filled with muddy water. The road should be made motorable .

The hotel service was outstanding, particularly Mr. Mani, the hotel manager, who went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. Although we initially booked a family suite, he introduced us to the tree house option, which we happily chose. The tree house exceeded our expectations, providing an unforgettable experience that my family thoroughly enjoyed. I wholeheartedly intend to recommend this experience to my friends. And also the food was really tasty and room service was also excellent,
