I want to commend the staff who did an outstanding job during the “Apagon” or major blackout that took out all the electricity in Spain and Portugal on April 28, 2025. They were not able to check us in but allowed us to stay on the property. They came up with a plan to allow us to get to our rooms which meant I would have a bed, a bathroom and a roof over my head. I was worried I would have to sleep in the lobby. Thank you for everything! I enjoyed my stay, was able to soak a leg injury in the bathtub and the wifi was excellent. I would recommend and I would stay here. It is close to grocery stores and shopping. Not far from the cathedral.

I really appreciated the very helpful hotel staff. Each one of them went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed during my stay. I was allowed to store food in the hotel fridge so that I could eat lactose-free breakfast. I just bought coffee from the hotel (which was excellent!).

It was not a big deal for me, because I was there for work and only slept in my hotel room, but the room had only windows in the interior of the hotel. They worked to get fresh air, but there was no view. This was one of their cheapest rooms (and that was worth it for me); other rooms are considerably more expensive.

The location was close to the cathedral and many shops and a grocery store. It was a great location to have as a home base for exploring Santiago after walking the Camino. It is air conditioned and the breakfast was filling and a good price. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We would stay here again!

The window looked into a courtyard, not outside. The shower head sprays water all over the bathroom as the glass partition is not long even to block all the spray.

The hotel was overall great. I had a bathtub! Which is rare nowadays. Very clean. Staff really nice. However, the bed and pillow was very comfortable (at least for me, but that's quite personal). The location couldn't be better! Definitely staying back when I return to Santiago in the future.

The only thing I'd mention would be the heating system, quite noisy. So preferred to use an extra blanket that, luckily, I could get from the wardrobe than turning it on if it was a bit cold.

Single room, one night, clean and  fresch, small but very functional room. Nice helpful and welcoming people at the reception. Good location, near everything. Walked to the bus stop at Horreo street (not the bus station) where you can take the bus to the airport very slowly to see how much time it would take simulating dragging the suitcase and it was about 6 min. A bit uphill first but not that bad. A lot of traffic though.

Nothing really, too bad I was too tired after walking the Camino to explore the sights of the city.

Great location and friendly staff. Comfortable area to wait until check-in is available. Air conditioning, which was a bonus! Very easy to reach from train or bus station and very close to bus stop to airport.

Pretty ugly view across wasteland and other flats. Although we didn't book breakfast, when we enquired there was none available as there were no staff. Lots of cafes close by however.

Breakfast was a good deal for 4 euros. It was tasty with the breads and the coffee was delicious. The location was convenient to the train station, and the front desk was helpful for giving directions to the station. The hotel was also close to an Indian restaurant where I was meeting friends for dinner.

The hotel is in a newer part of the city, and not much is open on Sunday. I was given a clean room but it was a smoker's room since there was an ash tray on the desk in the room. The blanket has a cigarette hole in the middle of it. Make sure to ask for a non-smoker's room.

8 minute walk to the train station and super close to shops, restaurants, etc. 15-minute walk to the Cathedral. The room was clean, AC worked, and there was a bathtub, which was a treat after walking 40 days on the Camino. Staff was friendly, and there was an elevator.

The room decor is a bit outdated if that matters to you.

Great location - 10mins walk from the station or 20mins in bus from airport. Under 10mins walk to the old town and tourist area. Lots of locals cafes and bars close by as well. Staff really helpful and friendly.

About halfway between the cathedral and the train station. They held our bags since we arrived before check in. The room was large and clean. The bathroom was large and had a window you could open to let steam out. Breakfast was good, there were a few different options. The coffee was good.

The bed was really low, not the usual height. But it was comfortable.
