Absolutely beautiful hotel and great staff. The only problem was booking through booking.com from the UK. Sterling do not monitor the messages and send an alarming automated "your room is not guaranteed until you pay" message. The payment site kept hanging and generating errors but eventually after trying for a couple of days I saw payment taken on my bank statement. But I still received no confirmation from sterling. booking.com themselves were absolutely no help (automated messages adjusting be to message the non communicative hotel) and staff at the hotel contacted via WhatsApp couldn't help and just kept asking me to call their head office in India myself. It worked out in the end, the room was available and the stay was good, but the Sterling's booking and payment process and communication via booking.com seriously needs to be improved.

The property is situated in a stunning location with breathtaking views of the waterfalls. The swimming pool, food, facilities, and staff were all exceptional, making for a truly enjoyable experience.

I had a disappointing experience with a wasp bite while entering the swimming pool, suggesting there might be a nest nearby that needs addressing. Additionally, there were several brief power outages that were quite disruptive. It would also be great if the resort could offer more activities, like an Ayurveda spa, to enhance the overall experience. Additionally, the entrance road to the resort could use some improvements, as it detracts from the overall experience.

This 8 month old hotel, was absolutely beautiful with breathtaking views from the infinity roof top pool. My bedroom was huge and had every mod con going! A gorgeous balcony and heaps of space. My bed was also extremely comfortable! The hotel offers a restaurant with delicious food. Breakfast was more than ample. There is no bar, but that didn’t bother me in the slightest. Special thanks go to Anu and Greeshma who went the extra mile in helping me to book train tickets for the next leg of my journey. They were incredibly helpful. Thank you

The location was amazing, staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, they provided really good info about activities in the area and arranging transport (taxis, autos etc.) was made very easy by them. The restaurant was also great, and the guided waterfall trek was very worthwhile!

Only one small thing - having a list of allergens for each dish in the buffet would be really useful.

Great people, very kind helpful and caring staff members. Thank you to the staff of Sterling hôtel that made our journey very memorable. The receptionnist arranged a special tour for us from evening to day after. The location of the hotel is amazing, near the river. Location..next to river. Nice swimming pool. Hygiene maintained. Room comfortable. Above average breakfast. South indian dishes werent that well. Dishes that we ordered from restaurant dint taste well. Staff was supportive. Reception arranged a quick short trek....could get a few special glance of the river.

The architecture and interior decor was in line with natural elements. The staff were warm, courteous and hard working. The food for breakfast and dinner was delicious. Thank you to Nirmal, Anandu and all the staff. Also was a pleasure to meet the executive chef Sajan who kindly shared his insights into Kerala cuisine. Beautiful and memorable experience at a stunning location.

View from the Terrace was excellent,enjoyed the poolside. Receptionist Ms.Reshma was very helpful. Room was big and spacious.

Driver's washroom needs to be improved। There was no hot water. Driver's are human too. Authority must think about there safety and hygene too. If they are not safe, your guests are also not safe.

Room was very modern with great view up the river. Food was excellent and staff were friendly. Infinity pool was lovely on the roof with the view of the falls.

Room was a little dark, could do with a bit more lighting. And whilst the staff were friendly, service was a bit haphazard in the restaurant.
