We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. I came with my family just for the weekend. The close proximity to the city, market, ghats and also places like Monsoon Palace and Bahubali hills makes this the perfect accommodation in Udaipur. The staff was very warm and helpful. They guided us with offbeat places to see and restaurants to try. Just one suggestion would be to have cleaner bed linens and deep cleaning of the rooms as there were bindi stuck on mirrors, stains on the towel, pillows and walls. The property is really beautiful to have such issues. But, we had a very comfortable stay otherwise. Big shout out to the kitchen staff and Mulchandji for serving us warm breakfast in the morning.

I want to start by saying thank you to Harikishan, Sorabh, and Rosa for making our first trip to Udaipur so memorable! Amar Kothi is a beautiful, historical Haveli in a quiet part of Udaipur right outside of the Old City. As soon as we arrived we were greeted at the door by the hotel’s security guard with a big smile on his face. We immediately felt right at home! Our room was absolutely beautiful and extremely clean. The bed was one of the most comfortable that we’ve slept in while in India. They have a restaurant on-site that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We tried all three multiple times during our stay & loved the different foods. Harikishan & Sorabh were our servers on several occasions, and they made sure we were taken care of! Ask for Harikishan’s spider rolls! These were quite a treat! We will definitely be back to Udaipur one day, and we will plan to stay at Amar Kothi again.

The service was exceptional, staff was very calm and happy to help. The security guard to the hotel manager everyone is welcoming. Hotel was very clean and comfortable, value for money. For the service i would like to share the incident/ service. I requested reception for the weight machine for baggage as I am traveling by flight. Unfortunately their machine was not working but the staff committed me that he will arrange something And within 30 min. He arranged a weight machine from the neighbour's grocery shop.

The property is extremely beautiful. We booked the deluxe room and it was clean and aesthetic. The washrooms are clean and the service is very nice. I am really happy with the property. All the popular spots are near and we see the little Pichola lake and city palace view from the terrace. The food was really nice and the breakfast buffet was on point. We can get autos just outside the property and also there is parking available. All in all a perfect stay in Udaipur.

Liked the staff. Very much represents the rajasthani hospitality. The staff in the kitchen and restaurant are especially upbeat and serving with a smile. The interior is very beautiful. All spaces are very picturesque and beautifully done. The rooms are spacious and clean. The restaurant was a beautiful space as well. Great furniture, the interior doesn't look cheap. The breakfast was very homely and nice and they served us nicely and asked if we needed something throughout the time we had breakfast. The staff was more than happy to do what we asked for. I really appreciated how clean everything was. Also, the price was reasonable. Usually hotels charge way too much,they overestimate themselves. This place was had the perfect tariff for what it had.

There wasn't already a quilt or blanket in the rooms, we had to call them to give blankets. One room had a kettle the other didn't. Also there wasnt water in the shower on one room because we stayed just one night so we overlooked a few things as we had to leave immediately the next day. We also felt the inconvenience as there were no proper charging plug points. The two we did get were hard to reach behind the side tables and the bed. The lift is a little scary and i think it needs some repair. It doesn't move we got a scare while trying to use it as it didn't move even after the doors being shut.

The rooms and the staff were really good. We really appreciated the hospitality and the good handling of our requests.

The bathrooms and rooms could have been a little more cleaner. The property gives out a very rustic and simple kind of vibe, but a little more emphasis on the cleanliness would take it to a different level of awesome stays.

We stayed at amar kothi for 3 days and it was an excellent vibe there for living and we enjoyed it very much the staff was so humble and this hotel is value for money. We got the rooms very clean and breakfast was too tasty and the view we got from the hotel was esthetic.

1. Open parking, vehicles got extremely heated in sunlight. 2. No mirror in front of the dressing table in the room, which may be somewhat uncomfortable for the ladies. 3. Only one window for the without balcony room. 4. Found small cockroaches at the table and bathroom door. Please implement paste control after certain intervals. 5. Only one tower bolt is provided to lock the door from inside which seems to be less safe for the person inside the room. Kindly provide a strong door lock or Latch.

The best architectural design. It’s a new hotel but the ambience is so much traditional, the credit goes to Mr. Prithviraj. The location is excellent. The person who was serving the dinner, Mr. Hari Kisan Sharma, took great efforts by arranging a dinner on the terrace under a traditional Rajasthani Chattri with some view of the lake. The food was excellent.

Front of desk, Mr. Mintu Singh was extremely helpful and kind. I had a bad allergic reaction and Mr.Singh and owner, Mr. Prithvi were very hospitable about it. The kitchen staff realized I had an early morning train and offered to pack me breakfast which is them going out of their way. I really appreciated that. The hotel is clean, and being a solo female traveller, I'm always worried about safety and cleanliness. I had absolutely no issues on both those accounts. Would highly recommend this property.
