This was a fantastic 'steal deal' in my mind, since I got a proper plush hotel with well appointed rooms and all amenities such as a spa and a restaurant serving great food for all meals that I tried at the hotel. And the prices these days are fabulous value because of the general decline in shimla prices because of the events earlier this year. It is only 4KM from the mall road and I hired a small alto local taxi to drop me there and at the end of roaming around and having lunch at the mall, I took a different taxi which was easily available and came back to the hotel. The breakfast spread is more than adequate with north indian, south indian as well as english breakfast options. I also tried the bar in the evening and was pleasantly surprised - being solo I enjoyed a couple of cocktails with the blinking lights of shimla visible from there.

It's a great hotel, little outside the town, but it's good and great value for money. The staff is very polite and goes out of the way to make you feel comfortable. You get more out of the stay than you pay for. Food was good. Bathrooms are clean, TV functioned well and had all the regular channels (though we don't watch much), room service was quick and efficient.

Not much. Maybe wifi could be better. It took some time to connect and get it running.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The view from the room was absolutely stunning and made the experience even more memorable. The food was delicious with a great variety, and every meal was a treat. The hospitality was top-notch – the staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help. I truly appreciated the comfort and care during my stay. Highly recommended!

Nice stay we had.. Cab services refered by Larisa.. Mr. Bittu... Helped and cared timely on pick up and drop local sight seeing.. Etc. All staff were caring well on needs. Good view. Will stay again here. To take right choice to stay at shimla👌🏻👌🏻

Room heating on luxury room was less on 1 degree celcius and not sufficient and then supported by heater additionally. Other thibgs are okay and good.

Breakfast and dinner has good options, the staff is well trained, polite and very helpful. The location in Shimla is just at right position, not too high or not too low which allows to have both vertical and valley views of the city.

The power buttons in the room are all over the places, the shower in my room was not good. Room lighting could've been better.

1. The entire staff of Larisa was very courteous and genuine while serving us, be it in their restuarant or when we needed something in our room. 2. The food - although the quality of the food was amazing but i thoroughly enjoyed the 3rd dinner. All the meals that we had were very cooked well. 3. Cleanliness - the hotel was very clean and tidy and i notice on all the days during our stay that the housekeeping staff were on their toes to make sure that every falls at right place. 4. Travel - the hotel recommended us a travel guy whose services we used for our 3 day tour for sightseeing in and out shimla. They took us at very beautiful scenic places which we were unable to go if we weren't guided by a well informed person. Overall, it was a great stay. Most importantly my daughter (7 years) was very happy with the kids room which sums up the entire time we were there.

Nothing to dislike that we noticed!!

The people who took care at the reception and at the dining hall were exceptionally good.

The replenishing of coffee and tea things did not happen as a routine. Nor in the bathroom. The bathroom facilities near the reception needs to be kept absolutely clean.

Great food, every dish prepared separately, Traditionally. It was not one gravy fits all. Staff very courteous, every call answered quickly. Peaceful, felt wanted. Get lost in dreams. Clean rooms, shared area. Be yourself.

Very clean and large rooms. They're also centrally heated which is a big plus. Staff are very friendly were ready to listen to our needs.

The NYE gala dinner could have been organized better. The food was initially served cold but was improved later based on our feedback.

The location of the property is excellent, with ample parking space. The staff is extremely professional & courteous, they took extra care of our needs. The spa services was great. The food is delicious, i highly recommend the hotel for the stay.Larisa team made our vacation memorable, special mention to Vinod at the front office .
