Very well located Hotel on the ghats of Benaras next to Darbhanga Ghat and in addition the view of river Ganga with boats and sun rise is absolutely awesome. Amazing beauty of sunrise and the local folklore shops on the little lane to hotel is quick for shopping at incredible low price. Must stay hotel in Varanasi !!!

Balcony of saptarishi suites is too small and room size is quite small. Rest all is fine.

Caring and professional staff. Big thanks to Ajay who took great care of us from arrival to departure. He sent us porters and tuk tuk for our luggage on arrival and same as we check out( as vehicles are not allowed inside). The check in and check out was very smooth. The room very clean and nicely decorated. The service is very quick when I called at reception for food, towel assistance etc. The menu has a variety of food and drinks which is very well prepared and good. The bed is very comfortable and clean. Ajay organised almost everything for us during our stay, from our boat trips for dips early in the morning with good rates, he organised our itinerary and even booked our train ticket on our departure. The hotel is located right on the main ghats. We had room with a magnificent view. Definitely recommend this place in Kashi.

Really helpful staff and had a delicious evening meal at the restaurant with great views. Was a bit disappointed with my room as the balcony was not accessible from the room itself, you have to go out the front door and access it from a side gate which only you have the key, but if I am honest because of this I did not go out there much. Unfortunately the sides in the room were dirty, but luckily I had some wipes and cleaned it all down, the hotel manager wa ver apologetic and offered to have it cleaned but I had done it so did not need it done. The room itself and balcony had an amazing view of the Ganga and that made it all worthwhile.

Staff were fabulous and really helpful and welcoming, rooftop restaurant lovely too and they even sent monkey police out so we could enjoy a sunset drink. Breakfast great - a buffet style with a broad range of options. Personally loved the location - depends what you're looking for but being in the midst of all the ghats and right next to the river was perfect for us! Would definitely stay again (if available) on my next trip to Varanasi!

Location Breakfast Staff

Very good location - the hotel is on a bank of Ganga river. The place is not very noisy. The room was clean. The staff was completely friendly and helpful. The food in a restaurant was good. In our bathroom was a boiler for water, so there was no problem with hot water. The view is terrific! You also have a good fan in a room, so there is no need for AC

The water itself was a little bit sulfated - our hair were not very clean, but it was OK. Not everyone would be happy with the shover as it is combined with toilet and there is no separation - so when you get shover, the water is all over the floor (but for us it was not a big deal). In the middle of the night we met a gecko in our room - but again, we were OK about that.

Great location on the Ganges. The room had a water view. Decent sized spacious room with air conditioning and fans. Lots of bottled water provided. Comfy bed (which is the most important thing). Hot shower. Nice food in the restaurant off the menu. Ajay and his friendly staff were awesome. Able to organise day trips and transport too.

The hotel is due for a bit of an interior renovation. Everything worked though so no issues. And generally you are out and about anyway more than you are in your room. I think the room would benefit from light blocking curtains though for travellers who are still jet lagged (my room faced the sunrise) or unwell (should this arise).

Deserve my money for this room. Best Ganga location in the ancient classic room, big space, new cool aircon, nice river view especially in the early morning. peaceful pray we can do Infront of the Ganga, nice private balcony. The staffs, they are very helpful. Airport transfer provided well, with staffs to carry our luggages to the hotel. I love the room so much 😍

Difficult to reach on day1, but later we learn to walk by ourselves. Not convenient for the family who has a senior person. It requires lot of walking.

Localisation, personnel

Very nice accommodation in Varanasi directly on the Ghat. Property booked for us a taxi from the airport and their staff waited for us on the main road. Since it is next to the Ghat, it is not accessible by car and you have to walk approximately 10mins from main road (they help you with bags). Super nice staff, helped us to book a morning private boat day in advance for a reasonable price as well as recommended local guide for a walking tour. Great communication via Booking messages prior. Possibility to pay by card (MasterCard). Overall highly recommend, good restaurant on top of the hotel as well.

Due to the location, expect that it will be slightly humid in the room and outside, not particurarly the accommodation fault, just a destination fact.
