This was such a beautiful and serene place! I had the Parvati house and felt immediately at home. So cosy and comfortable. I joined the ashtanaga mysore program and really enjoyed practicing with Andrea and Damien. Great teachers! Food at the café was good and the staff was always super attentive.
The property is a bit far away from the beaches and the main hub of Canggu. This is great if you just want some peace and quiet - just be aware of that you will need transportation if you want to explore. This is fortunately very easily accessible and doesn’t cost a great deal. I also enjoyed the commute in some ways - seing the buzz of Canggu from the back of a motorbike has its charm. The reception and cafe close quite early, and it would have been nice if there was more of an evening hangout available at the premises - but I also get that this a small retreat center, so it wouldn’t be feasible.

I loved the varied, included yoga classes. Although I wasn't confident enough to try the Mysore Ashtanga, as I found the other classes challenging enough, as a beginner. I really liked how Indy and Mareike helped me, by adjusting my positions and the introduction of Yin yoga by Sasya. The included breakfast with a choice of ginger tea, which was superb and eggs which were also cooked to perfection however I chose them. It was a perfect, relaxing stay with a lovely swimming pool, even when it was raining. I will probably come back at the end of my Bali journey.
I was hoping for more community activities... I felt people kept to themselves a lot. Maybe a joint WhatsApp group for guests who would like more contact, or small ice breakers before, during or after classes? Maybe not feasible. This is not a reflection of the team, they were all wonderful and ensured I had everything I needed.

Included yoga is very good and suitable for beginners. Breakfast can be served pretty late and very delicious. The staff are very helpful and nice. Overall bungalows are simple but nice.
There was almost constant noise of, I guess, a water pump. Not at night and not really annoying. They don't provide toothpaste. I assume it's for ecological reasons but there's soap, coffee, tea and other things but not toothpaste so just be prepared. If you are tall then doors are a bit short. If you aren't interested in yoga, there are probably more suitable places. But this place is very good if you want yoga and prepared to a bit simpler and ecological than usual solutions.

Super clean, even ceilings, walls, furniture without a trace of dust or cobwebs, as has happened to me in other accommodations. The staff is always attentive to help and it was great that I arrived much earlier than expected and they let me settle into the room without any problem. The food is extraordinary although there is not much variety but there are cafes and restaurants nearby. Be careful with the dogs in the alleys leading to the accommodation, since you cannot get there by car and you have to walk a stretch where there are dogs and they are quite territorial, it is better to keep your distance. The Yoga classes are absolutely Top rank
It would be great to have a fridge for customers at least in the common area due the kitchen closed at 4pm.

I stayed at this homestay for 3 days and felt a strong sense of home. It’s not a traditional hotel or homestay but more like a home with an environmental concept. It is located in a small village next to rice fields, blending perfectly with the local villagers. There are not many staff members seen around; it’s more self-service. The place is cleaned twice a week, not daily, but the living experience is very comfortable. The scenery is pleasant, and the provided yoga classes can be enjoyed comfortably. We stayed in the Buddha room, where we could see the beautiful swimming pool from the bedroom, providing a very pleasant relaxation for both body and mind. The yoga studio is not far away, very modern and peaceful, mainly taught by local teachers, who are all very good. Near our yoga studio, there are also two or three nice coffee shops with great flavors and care. However, if you are looking for a very luxurious space, this might not be suitable. This place is like a home in environmentalism, very intimate, eco-friendly, and natural, like a home in the countryside, a very natural, relaxing, and comfortable space, not luxurious but enjoyable.
I think the area that needs improvement is that the water pressure is a bit low, there are no other major issues, and also the air conditioning isn’t very cooling. But these are all within an acceptable range for me personally.

Beautiful, serene surroundings…beautiful, well-maintained bungalows- great housekeeping & maintenance staff. Wonderful yoga shala & wonderful teachers- Andrea & Damien 🙏🏼great good- fresh, healthy, light…can’t ask for more 🌸
Majority of all is great. Just to find a solution for pool water pump machine by Parvati room- maybe to keep off btw 7pm-9am or other solution for noise.

It’s quite simple, I liked everything about Ubuntu. It was super peaceful, the yoga classes and teachers were great (that I didn’t know where included), the staff was super welcoming and the little bungalow was beautiful ! I really liked the bed super comfy and the bathroom that was super charming. Even with heavy rain, I was feeling super relax. If you like nature and seeking for a peaceful place, just go
Nothing I was quite surprised of the last comment to be honest, i think the person might be used to superficial places. This one is a unique gem according to me

The place is beautiful and a little oasis from the caos of canggu. The team was great, and i really enjoyed the yoga classes. If you dont have a bike, it is a bit far from downtown, but you can easily get a lift using Gojek .
The bed in room Krishna was not very comfortable. I could feel the springs in my back. I would recommend you to change them

We liked the on-site yoga classes. The yoga instructors were all very good. The bungalows were cute.but a mimi fridge would be a nice addition. It is located in a fairly quiet area but has laundry, massage and restaurants within a 10 minute walk. Overall, it is a nice place to relax and do some yoga.
There is no spa on the property.

I felt at home immediately. I loved the rustic bungalows, jungle garden and pool. Beautiful yoga classes. Great value for money with the class and breakfast.
My only minor complaint is the hot water for the showers were inconsistently hot - it didn't bother me too much since it's so warm.
