friendly staff. comfy to sleep, big rooms with wardrobe and desk

a bit further out from canggu. the pool wasn’t very clean. the showers were burning hot, I couldn’t shower properly as the showers were just way TOO hot.

The pool is so great, especially for kids

it is just off a main road which is so busy you cannot walk on it and taxis get stuck in the traffic so it’s only ok if you have a scooter

very lumpy pillows. after showering the bathroom stayed wet and damp and flies appeared. the shower also kept leaking under the door into the main bedroom.

The room that I first got was a bit smelly due to the humidity and the toilet ( I think it needed some maitenance). When I asked if I could change rooms they agreed and I immediately got a new room that was better. There was a rat in my new room. Not that I don’t like them but I guess it’s helpful for other guests

I lived in three different rooms during my 2-weeks stay here. overall I can say this place needs renovation and more attentive stuff. I had a huge cockroach in my bathroom, a very hard mattress, sticky and dusty floor (don’t think it was mopped before my check-in), broken AC, greyish washed out towels and someone’s (previous guest’s apparently) hair in the bathtub.

The common grounds, such as the pool, looked cozy. I didn’t use the pool but saw someone using it. The room was very cheap.

My partner and I didn’t end up staying here. After checking out the room we decided to go somewhere else. I’m not sure what happened but I thought I booked a place much closer to the main canggu area. It turned out to be quite a car ride (not the property fault obviously). Both can drivers looked concerned when they picked us up/dropped us off and asked why we were staying in this area since apparently it’s not very safe. Secondly, the room was very dark. The bathroom was very run down and definitely needed an upgrade. I just don’t think I would have been able to relax there. I guess you get what you paid for. But honestly it’s worth to pay double (eg $40 aud over $20 aud per night) and stay in a really nice home stay in the middle of canggu (which is exactly what we ended up doing).. saves you money on the cab rides too.
