What more can be added to what has already been said and praised so many times? Everything is accurate! The staff, the location, the breakfast, and the amenities. The service for renting a scooter, WiFi, and the bed, everything is okay to a great pleasure. And you’re never alone: Even in your private moments in the open bathroom, there is always a gecko, salamander, or whatever other creature checking on you. It’s a place with no fuzz that is definitely worth booking for more than a few days.

Check-in was confusing. There are two entrances on different locations: The entrance to the villas and the second one to the cottages that’s next to O’zarome restaurant. If you’re unlucky as I was, this unfriendly French receptionist will demand cash payment or a 3% additional charge when paying by credit card. Since I didn’t carry enough cash, I had to go in search of an ATM. Although I left my luggage, all valuables, and my credit card details with that woman, she still kept my passport as “a guarantee”. What a weird way of welcoming a guest for a full week booking! Well, blondie, there is still a lot to learn from the local Balinese staff! I prefer their way of welcoming and trusting guests, and that is quite different from yours!

United Colors is a beautiful space, with lush green gardens, nice pools and well sized rooms. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We stayed in a bungalow, and had family that stayed in a villa. Both were roomy and comfortable. I really liked the What's App group set up with James on arrival, it made for super easy communicating. We ate at the restaurant multiple times, and all our food was delicious. We also used the massage and salon services, which were well priced - and we thoroughly enjoyed our massages, and my niece absolutely loved her new nails! The nail artist was very patient :). We would stay here again!

Our bed frame was very creaky, but the bed and pillows itself were very comfortable. Service sometimes ran on Bali time, but that didn't bother us as we were very relaxed! The location is slightly remote - so be prepared to use Gojeks and other means to get around, it's not really central to 'main' Canggu. We did like the peace that provided though!

Awesome vibes - staff , especially the front desk are really nice and welcoming. Once you enter the compound feels very zen, we liked the villas as well, lots of space while still feeling very open to nature. The multiple pools were nice, and I really enjoyed the massage on site too. price was very reasonable.

Location was a bit tricky - really bad traffic outside to get around, and lots of road constructions that we were sometimes not able to access the road (Grab had to drop off down the street, which is difficult if you have young kids). Not very walkable to anywhere nearby

A beautiful place to stay for families, three pools onsite and delicious restaurants. The breakfast was INCREDIBLE and filling. Walking distance to many other amazing, local eateries too. Friendly and welcoming staff and a unique experience and sleeping set up, our kids loved it!

For us the set up of the mosquito nets and small Openings in the building allowing mosquitoes in at night was concerning for our children but the nets were effective and air con in each bedroom helped to cool the room well! Also expect an early wake up because of the friendly cooing pigeons hanging out on the roof.

The resort is well-maintained, and the location is beautiful, offering a rustic, nature-immersed atmosphere that perfectly balances comfort and modern amenities. The rooms were clean and surprisingly free of insects, despite being open-air, which was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant offered delicious meals both for breakfast and dinner. The resort’s location is incredibly convenient for exploring the island, especially with the scooters available for rent directly from the hotel, all of which were in excellent condition. The laundry service was another standout—economical and of great quality. Our clothes came back incredibly soft and with a wonderful fragrance. Had we known earlier, we would have taken advantage of this service to clean all our clothes before heading home after three weeks of traveling around Indonesia. All the staff were outstanding. They were all incredibly friendly, courteous, and always ready to help. Special thanks to James, who was extremely efficient, and to the owners, Philippe and Sophie, who were such charming and lovely hosts. In summary, we wholeheartedly recommend United Colors of Bali. It was a fantastic place to stay.

The restaurant, as mentioned, served excellent food, both for breakfast and dinner. The only slight inconvenience was the early closing time in the evening, (9:30 pm) but this did not detract much from the overall experience.

A dreamlike place with heart – highly recommended! United Colors of Bali is a beautiful accommodation in the heart of Canggu. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home – the entire team was incredibly warm and attentive. The rooms were spotless, and the whole property was spacious, clean, and lovingly maintained. One thing we appreciated was being added to a WhatsApp group where we could ask any questions. Even though we only stayed for a short time and didn’t have many questions, the team was always ready to help. A lovely example of their attention to detail: on our first day, we completely forgot that we had booked breakfast. Before it ended, someone actually came to our room to ask if we still wanted to eat – we’ve never experienced that kind of care in a hotel before! We also met the owners, a super friendly couple, who took time to chat with us and shared great tips for our onward journey. Scooters were easy to rent directly through the hotel, which was very convenient. A very special thank you goes to Anam – you always had a funny line ready and made our stay so much more fun. It was the perfect retreat for relaxation while still being within easy reach of attractions. - The rooms were spacious and full of character, with unique decor that gave them a charming, cozy feel. We loved the attention to detail in the design, which made our stay feel special. - The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, always going out of their way to assist us. Whether it was providing local recommendations or helping with any requests, their kindness and attentiveness made our stay even more enjoyable. - One of the highlights of our stay was the complimentary yoga session offered by the property. It was a relaxing and refreshing way to begin the morning, and we really appreciated this thoughtful touch.

- The breakfast was decent, but the options were somewhat limited. While it covered the basics, we would have appreciated more variety to start the day. - The stairs were a bit steep, which might be challenging for some guests, especially those with mobility issues. Additionally, the doors didn’t close easily, which was a slight inconvenience, though it didn’t majorly affect our stay. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay, offering a unique and memorable experience. Despite a few minor issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it to others.

I had an amazing stay at United Colors of Bali. The staff was always helpful, responsive, and quick to answer any questions. The location is convenient, close to restaurants and the beach, if you have a scooter or plan to use taxi. The massage I had was wonderful, and the yoga class (free with a coupon) was a nice touch. I only tried yoga on my last day, but if I’d gone earlier, I would have made it a regular part of my stay. The grounds were beautifully maintained, and our bungalow was spacious. Naturally, there were a few lizards and ants, but actually a fewer than in other Bali stays in similar places.

The hotel is split into two sections on opposite sides of the street; it would be nicer if it were all connected, but both areas are fully equipped and beautiful. Overall, a great experience!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice set up of accommodations and facilities. Enough privacy of the villa while easy access to facilities. Lay out of the villa was pleasant. We enjoyed breakfast very much, enough choice and well prepared. Wifi worked well, important for our family of 5 (3 teens). Also less then 5 minute walk there is Warung Eksis. Great value for money meals

The extra bed was uncomfortable. Location is more out the tourist area. We took taxi's for visits to beaches and markets. As the traffic is so busy.

Overall, a good villa with a very convenient location. It’s clean and tidy, and housekeeping is done daily. The security staff are very polite and always ready to help. A special mention for the local ginger cat! If you see him, please give him some food. Now for the downsides: there are a lot of mosquitoes, and the staircase is quite inconvenient, making it difficult to carry suitcases up and to go down to the bathroom. There is also a noticeable damp smell in some areas. Towels are not changed daily, so we had to request fresh ones every time.
