I couldn’t recommend Jungle House more! Staying at Sup’s guest house in Medewi was an amazing experience. Sup and his family are incredibly kind and welcoming, making you feel at home from the moment you arrive. If you're looking to relax, enjoy nature, and catch some waves, this is the perfect spot. Just 5 minutes to Medewi Beach, home to Bali’s best left-hand wave — ideal for surfers of all levels. Sup also offers surf lessons if you're looking to improve or just get started. Tucked away from the main road, the only sounds you’ll hear are birds and the rustle of nature. It’s peaceful, beautiful, and a great way to experience the real Bali.

Location is a nice drive through the rice fields, away from the main road so peaceful, restful nights. Stayed in dorm room, felt like tree house vibe, spacious rooms. Also has kitchen and fridge to cook own meals. Sup the owner, does not stay at property but is responsive through phone for any needs, also a great surf instructor, recommend taking some with him. Lia works at the property she is so sweet always eager to help with anything, even picked out a coconut from the tree for me, also gave good food recommendations in the area. Scooters available for rent at affordable price.

Nice location with peace and quiet, but very close to the Surfspotd, restaurants etc. Medewi is a lovely place in general and the owner Sup and also the maintenance Lady Lia are absolutely lovely and welcoming. Sup can give surf lessons, organise board rental, scooter and help with questions about transportation. Also very nice that there is always drinking water and a kitchen. Also all guests were super nice and the vibe was amazing.

No hot shower, but not a problem for me :)

It was super nice! The price is amazing, The hostel is very clean, the 4 beds dormitory is very spacious, comfortable and fresh during the night with the fans and no noise at all. Common areas like the kitchen are perfect, it would be nice to find some salt and oil for cooking. Location is super, 5 mins by scooter from the main surf points. Sup is very nice and gentle, really recommend taking surf classes with him. Also, many times during the week someone comes to clean the whole space

Its like a sanctuary in the jungle. I picked this place because I heard great things about surf lessons with Sup. I ended up staying and taking a week of lessons (started as a beginner) and Sup was a great teacher and super chill which I loved. Everyone was so friendly, room was clean and always cool (with a fan) and I loved the jungle style shower. I used the kitchen a lot too, and there's free drinking water (which is such a bonus). It's close to the river and if you walk into medewi (it's like 20mins) all the kids are so friendly and will high 5 you. It's perfect if you're looking for a little oasis thats quiet and chill

You probably need a scooter but I didn't mind walking everywhere.

I enjoyed my stay. From the location and my room in general. It's truly a surfers hideaway, it's for cowboys and cowgirls not for rich kids, simple and quiet evenings. In the mornings you have a choice of alarms the rooster or the sound of prayer, either way it's the surfers wake up call. I cooked most of my breakfast there and enjoyed the company of the guests. I met a lot of good people staying there. I wish I had more time. But I definitely know where I'm staying again. Ohh and there is a cool river close by and you can take a dip. Sup the host was awesome and helpful in any way he could, from surfing to activities and recommendations for good eats. Please do stay here if you can.

The property is located off of a quiet road, and is very spacious. I stayed in the dorms and there was tons of room and although there was no A/C it was pretty chilly, and we had to turn off the provided fans. It was very comfortable overall – you often find people who chose to stay there long term because of the bang for your buck.

There was nothing major that I didn't like. Seems like the staff is aware of the things they need to repair. They were working on repairing the driveway, and were very quick to ask if there was anything we didnt like.

I liked the property’s location, it is far from main road/highway so no noise from trucks, cars etc. You can hear the sound of birds in the morning and crickets at night so the place has very calm vibe. It is close to the river so the surroundings is lush. The staff were very nice, they were great in housekeeping and maintaining the place clean. Agus was very hospitable, one of the nicest people I’ve met in the area, a true Superhost and a good friend.

Property is clean and comfortable. I stayed a few nights in a private room and a few in the dorms. Both are well worth their value. The property has a great location, next to a river which you can swim in. Quiet. 6 minute scooter ride to the beach. You can rent a scooter through the hostel which is nearly essential. Fair price. Met some really good people here and it was nearly full every night. Sup, the owner and manager, is very helpful and kind. I will be back to the Jungle House.

More comfortable lounging options (chairs, couches) would be nice.
