What a great small accommodation. We came with our daughter and her partner. Purely for surfing. We had an ocean view room so I could sit up the top on the lounge and watch my daughter and husband surfing. Our room was very big. Big bathroom. Very impressed with having our own water filter in the room. The staff were just lovely. I really love coming down to the restaurant area and they use your name when they say hello. Then they tell me my daughter went out early for a surf. Just so so personal we just loved it. Everyone staying at the hotel are all there to surf so all chat and talk about their day and the waves they caught. Much more enjoyable than a big resort. The breakfast was big and very nice. Lovely coffee and pots of tea. The pool and restaurant looks directly at the surf break so you never miss a thing. Great massages up the beach which my husband and daughter said were great after multiple trips out to surf. Would highly recommend for surf families. No shopping or much else to look at but its honestly worth it. A few great restaurants up the street from Bombora.

The location and staff are amazing at Bombora. The place is beautifully decorated and very aesthetic. The breakfast was incredible and I looked forward to it every morning. Coffee was amazing as well. I loved watching the surf at the bar when I wasn't out there surfing myself. The location is insane, right in front of the point.

This was my second time visiting here and it did feel a lot more expensive this time around. When we bought food at the restaurant we had to pay more tax for each item than some of the other surrounding restaurants so we did end up eating elsewhere quite a lot.

Breakfast and all meals we had were excellent. The staff were fabulous. Nopi in particular was a gem. She warmly welcomed us and asked our names, she referred to us as Rhonda and Geof whenever she saw us.

We were a little disappointed with the size of our room, however it's what we chose so no problem. The bathroom, now and again, had a distinct odour, so we tended to have the fan going most of the time.

The service was impeccable, the staff were so kind and friendly and always willing to help out. The room was exceptional, the ocean views were amazing and sounds of the waves crashing at night put us to sleep. It was relaxing to sit on the balcony and meditate do yoga or read a book. The room had a big bathroom and bath which was awesome and the room was always cleaned promptly by the amazing staff. The restaurant's food was really tasty and fresh and we loved the variety. We will definitely be returning here again !

Nothing that we didn't like everything was perfect!

After braving the crazy 3-4 hour road trip from Ngurah Rai, you will arrive on the best surf hotel. The location feels like Kuta in the 90's and I hope it stays that way. Everything is comfortable, clean, and you can spend the day just watching the wave from the pool. I am not a surfer but my partner is already planning to come back. Certainly suitable for surfer and lazy poolside couple. There's nothing else to do but surf and drink.

Nothing. We have the aircon died on us but they fixed it straight away.

From the minute we stepped foot into this wonderful hotel we knew it was going to be a perfect holiday. After a long, long travel we were greeted with huge smiles, a cold refreshing towel and a much needed welcome drink. Our room was very spacious, very clean and the bed was super comfortable. The Breakfast included was excellent, fresh juice, coffee and good size portions of food. Being right on the surf was the reason for booking this hotel and it did not disappoint. 2 weeks of wonderful waves just a few steps away. One of us is not a surfer but chilling by the pool, watching the surfers, going for walks, and exploring the local area on a moped was enough to make it a special holiday for both of us. All of the things mentioned above were huge factors in loving this hotel, but without a doubt it is the amazing team that really made our stay perfect. Everyone was knowledgeable, professional, friendly and fun and it was a real pleasure getting to know them all. Thank you guys for everything :-)

Nothing, it was all perfect.

Loved that everything you need (on a surf holiday) was right there. Board hire & surf guides next to the hotel, surf break right out the front. Fantastic sunrise and sunset views from the pool to soak in after a surf. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Really comfortable bed and generous sized bathroom (even in the smaller rooms). Loved the extras like yoga mat and foam rollers out the front of each room. And the wifi was excellent. Also could not fault the food & tasty gelato. So good!

Not much to be honest. It ticked all the boxes for me.

The staff is incredibly kind, super friendly, always here to help you. The view is fantastic - especially from the swimming pool! Room is really quiet, comfy and private. Food is great especially açai bowl, smoothies and chicken quesadillas were our favorites on the menu. Best spot for surfers!

If you’re not a surfy there is not much to do around. Bring a good book, yoga mats or simply enjoy some local massages :)

Everything ….. the location, the room, the service .. everything was so perfect. Our one year old was sick and the people at the hotel were the best : they helped us to reach a doctor, they dropped us the the clinic and then hospital, they were there to clean whenever , they made our stay so memorable and were always positive. Let’s not forget that the place is just top location - right in front of the surf spot, the rooms were so nice and big, and everything was chill and laid back but with a touch of modernity . The food was great and the staff were the best. Thank you so much Bombora , you make this place magical and we will come back !

The breakfast was excellent and a great start to the day, unless you have been up early to surf and come straight back for a great feed. The location was fab, right on the surf break so you can watch from the pool or relaxing on a sun lounge with a fresh coconut. Staff were so helpful and friendly.

Maybe the guests using the facilities, I sometimes found it a little disappointing that we couldn't secure a table with a view or at the bar area watching the surf as other people, not guests, would come and buy 1 drink and sit there for hours.
