I've stayed at Pondok Nyoman several times. Nyoman is a nice guy, always ready for a chat. The bed was comfortable, aircon efficient, and wifi fast and reliable. There aren't in room coffee making facilities, but coffee and tea are free at reception. Enjoying breakfast overlooking the valley is just magnificent. I'm intrigued by the furniture, it looks to have been eaten by termites, but of course it hasn't. It's an interesting look. The views from the dining area, and several other places, including the pool over the valley are exquisite.

First time there, it's a little difficult to find, but once located, easy enough. The access road is motorcycle or walking only, for a couple of hundred meters.

The hotel has the best view in the area. Pool, dining area, rooms had good view of the rice terrace. Food was good. Staffs were excellent. Also, I loved all the plants in the hotel. Very relaxing staying at Pondok Nyoman. I missed the place already.

Many steps going up and down. The place is on a hill that made all rooms with views. That’s made the hotel special. There wasn’t much nearby the hotel within walking distance.

This was a truly wonderful stay at Pondok Nyoman. Ideally located in central Bali close to the lakes, multiple waterfalls, etc. The views from the homestay are very special & the ambience also makes it feel almost like a retreat perfect for getting away from the busier parts of Bali. The owner Nyoman makes you feel so welcoming along with his staff & they go out of there way to make your experience in Bali as authentic as possible. There's always someone there to drive you about or if your preference is to scooter they are a available at a very good rate. I extended my stay from 3-8 days, everyone I met over those days extended too, can't give more praise than that. Check it out, you will love it...

We had the best accommodation experience of our Bali trip at Nyoman's guest house. Their place is a true oasis, where every detail is carefully thought out to provide an incredible experience for guests. The room was spacious and the bathroom was sparkling clean. We were impressed by the kindness and helpfulness of Nyoman and his team, always attentive to our needs. The food served was simply amazing, with delicious meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Additionally, we appreciated being able to rent a scooter directly on site, which made getting around much easier. The atmosphere of the place is truly unique, surrounded by lush nature. We can't wait to stay at Nyoman's again on our next trip to Bali!

The property has an amazing view, clean room & pool, great beds and a kind host. It is a family business and they are doing everything to make you feel confortable. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed everything.

There are roosters singing early in the morning but it is understandable due to the fact the property is in the countryside. We usually sleep with earplugs everywhere so this didnt bother us.

Amazing place and location! Delicious and cheap food. Unreal mountain views. There is hot water. Excellent staff, speaks English and even knows a few Russian words. There is a kitchen where you can make tea or coffee or cook something. Early check-in and late check-out, we were going to check out at 12, but it started to rain and we got stuck in the mountains, we were in the room for another two hours and no one kicked us out. There are exercise machines with a view of the mountains, a beautiful garden, you can get a massage in the room.

Wow, where should I start? This was by far one of the most beautiful accommodations I ever stayed in and I am lucky enough to have stayed in many. The room was really big and the huge double bed was really comfortable. Bathroom was really big and a semi outdoor bathroom. Sink was big, they even provided tooth paste, and the water pressure and temperature were amazing. Really trustworthy amazing, outgoing staff and everyone so friendly, especially Nyoman the owner. Views and Pool was just out of this world. Such a beautiful property in the middle of the jungle surrounded by nature. Views onto a rice terrace and a mountain. The food (breakfast and dinner) was really delicious and reasonably priced. Great seating areas for breakfast and dinner. They put some really cute flower decorations as part of our honeymoon for us and provided us with some really sweet snacks. The hospitality was out of this world. Location was walking distance to some local warungs and supermarkets however in a really quiet area, so just be aware. Very easy to get taxis from there though. The area was quite safe and they had an on-call taxi and massage service which both was fairly priced and really great service. Unlimited free tea, water and coffee which was a nice bonus. Overall would highly recommend. Such a hidden gem and so close to all main attractions by max 30 mins taxi rides each. Thanks for the lovely stay Nyoman and team.

Room was a bit outdated and the towels we got on our first day were a bit smelly (mold smell). There was a power cut once but it was fixed within 10 minutes. Our room also did not have water on one of the mornings however upon telling the staff they fixed it immediately. In the pool unfortunately there were some water spiders in there which was a bit scary for me. We didn't tell the staff since this is nature at the end of the day and we figured out our own solution instead. Pool temperature was nice and cool. There were lots of mosquitoes around which again you have to expect in the middle of the jungle. The residential dogs are really sweet however I once got a coffee in the middle of the night (my fault) and they almost wanted to attack me but again this was kinda to expect.

The location of the property is perfect. It offers a very beautiful view to the mountains and the valley. Friendly staffs.

You need to walk oabout 40 meters or use motor cycle to get into the property. The road access to the property is very difficult and not sealed.

Views from the property were outstanding! The pool area is brilliant, lots of places to sit and chill and take in the views and it's so peaceful. The rooftop area is great as well for sitting and taking in the views. Good sized room and bathroom, nice to have a little seating area outside your room too. Really friendly staff - the two young housekeepers were very sweet. You can also rent a bike from them too to see the local attractions.

The food at the on site restaurant could be improved - often it was served lukewarm with very little seasoning. Portion sizes could also be bigger (would be willing to pay a little more for this) and would expect to have more vegetables on the vegetarian options. Towels need replacing, they seem old and smell fusty. Tried to arrange a massage with reception, they said they would confirm with us but never did, which was a shame as it's a very calm environment so would have been nice!

Fantastic view from our terrace. The infinity pool was lovely. Owner very helpful with suggestions on where to go. Lots of different terraces to sit on. Can hire a scooter from here very reasonably. Nice to have a restaurant on site. Free tea, coffee and water available.

Narrow path to drive scooter on from main road. Was 10k from Bedugal. Cleanliness of room could be improved as cobwebs under the bed and in the corner of the room, which we only noticed when we were leaving and checked we hadn’t left anything.
