Space, location, pool size

In the middle of our first night, guests from another villa got access to our villa, unfortunately their key opens door to the outside area of our villa, not very good security, very scary to wake up in the middle of the night with strangers in our villa. Lucy the manager was great at sorting this out. Safe had no batteries.

We could not speak more highly of the property and their hospitality. We recently celebrated with 2 families of 4 across the two villas and it was perfect for our size and needs. The staff were amazingly attentive, sharing information about the island conditions, transport, snorkelling. They offered every kind of help. Breakfast was awesome too. Just message your order the day before and it's delivered fresh and on time every day. The bikes were great and they helped with pumping tyres if needed too. Nothing was a problem.

Not a criticism as we loved it, but the bathrooms are outside, so just need to be mindful of mozzies and keeping the doors closed within the bedrooms. They have plenty of mozzie coils for out in the living areas and kitchen.

Stayed for 4 nights. Beautiful villa with a pool, just a few minutes' walk from the jetty. Picked this villa as I wasn't sure if the kids could handle another transfer (via horse cart to elsewhere on the island) since we had to fly, take a 1.5 hour car journey and a 20minute boat ride before landing on Gili T. Very impressed by the facilities — spacious, clean and surprisingly free of critters. Drinking water is provided and air conditioning in the bedrooms is great. The pool is 1.4m deep with a shallow playing area for little ones. Before the trip, we arranged the airport transfer with the villa and they answered any questions we had promptly. The receptionist Rahma and janitor Aful were quick to respond to any requests during our stay. The jetty area is generally a busy area with many restaurants, diving shops and accommodation options, which made it easy to get whatever you would need. Would highly recommend ordering a pizza meal from Regina Pizzeria via WhatsApp if you're into pizzas.

No complaints. Just note that "pancake" on the breakfast menu actually refer to crepes instead!

Pool was excellent with easy access stairs and there is so much space in the outdoor living area that it was a pleasure to relax there. Staff were very friendly and helpful and organised our transfers without fuss. Lots of great eating places nearby and a local produce market a short walk away where we sourced lovely tropical fruits to consume back at the villa by the pool or under cover on day beds and lounges. It was nice to walk around the island and to beaches for snorkeling, and to restaurants and shops - no cars, just pony traps and bicycles and e scooters.

It was a bit loud at times with amplified call to prayers beginning before 5am and a couple of nights of loud traditional music until quite late.

Location is absolutely perfect, it's a 2 minute walk from the boat and close to all the shops, bars and restaurants. The pool and outside area is massive and very comfortable, it gets sun all day too The staff couldn't do enough to help and the cleaning was 5 star Little extras like milk, cold water and use of bikes was great Bedroom is lovely and cool and bed is super comfy We did hear the mosque every now and then, but it certainly didn't disturb us and we slept great

The only thing I can score it down on is the bathroom. I enjoy the outdoor style bathrooms, however not only was it extremely hot, it had a really awful smell that lingered for our entire stay, I imagine it had something to do with the sewage system

Loved everything about this villa. So much room. just a block to the water. Pool was amazing, the easiest pool I have used in Bali to get in and out of. Bed was extra comfortable. Outdoor shower fantastic. So much space if two couples rented. You can get same day washing service. Villa was cleaned as soon as you left. Fridge was also stocked with cold beers/soft drinks for a reasonable cost.

PowerPoint's next to bed were faulty which we discussed with gentleman onsite. Also a microwave would be great

The staff at Gili Villas are very friendly, attentive and amazing. Email communication pre stay is very quick and easy. It is very easy to organise day trips and transfers via the wonderful people on reception and the villa people are always close if you need anything. The villas themselves are well equipped, the beds are so comfy, the pool is amazing and the general vibe is very relaxed and quiet, even though they are close to the main strip. We have stayed here twice now and will stay again :)

Loved the layout of the villa and the lovely pool area that got a good amount of sunshine. Bedroom had lots of storage and enjoyed the large and well equipped kitchen. The staff were incredibly helpful in sorting things needed when we changed our plans. They made our stay fabulous!

The WiFi was epically annoying and almost useless. It drops out all the time, it often is tricky to log back in, and really needs changing to a better system. Bathroom is a little dated looking overall.

We loved staying here. The villa was centrally located. A short stroll to shops, restaurants, the beach and diving/snorkelling etc yet it was serene and quiet. It was spacious and comfortable with every luxury we needed. The staff were absolutely amazing! So friendly, warm and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Communication via WhatsApp was easy and efficient. The breakfasts delicious. We would definitely return again and again if we could.

We loved our stay! The villa was beautiful and so spacious. It was in a great location - central to everything yet tucked away from the nightlife noise. The hosts were amazing and so attentive! We will definitely be coming back.

The only downside was the noise from the nearby mosque. But we were aware of that prior to arriving and were respectful of their religion!
