I stayed at Bale Sasak for a few days as a solo traveler and had a genuinely beautiful experience. The place is quiet, cozy, and surrounded by nature — exactly what I needed to recharge. The room was super clean, with a comfortable bed and a cute little terrace to chill. The breakfast (included!) was simple but fresh and tasty — perfect to start the day. What made my stay truly special was Tim, the host. He was kind, helpful, and always around in case I needed anything, but also gave me space to enjoy my time on my own. Traveling solo, it meant a lot to feel both safe and cared for without it being overwhelming. If you're looking for a peaceful spot in Gili T that's still close enough to everything, I absolutely recommend Bale Sasak — especially if you're traveling alone. Great location near the main strip and dock for boats surrounded by loads of great food places. Tim the manager went absolutley above and beyond for everything during our stay and the rest of the staff were amazing as well. We were able to rent bikes, get a private boat tour organised for us, use the kitchen facilities (fridge etc), massage spa place on site, AC works really well, comfy beds and clean.

The temple is right next to the accomodation and is quite loud but didnt bother us too much.

The accommodation was very comfortable and clean. They have a great pool, a bar/restaurant with great food and drinks and also a place to get a massage! It is great value for money and in a perfect location! I would 100% recommend this place to anyone! All the staff were amazing! Tim and Pedro were very friendly and helpful with anything we needed!

The staff really made our stay very enjoyable. Funny, friendly and happy to help with literally anything, and always up for a laugh. Pools lovely, big enough that you can do actually use it for exercise purposes, location is very central but far away enough from the main strip to not be too noisy. Always someone playing guitar, had a few great nights drinking, chatting and singing with the boys who work there. Definitely would recommend for the price and general vibe of the place

Air con could be better, but it works better than some other places we've stayed. Wi fi signal wasn't too strong but there's several different routers to connect to and at least one is always decent enough to get work done if you need to.

It's a really beautiful place with super friendly staff members, this place has a giant pool and very comfortable accommodation rooms. I was surprised when I first got there as this place is cheap and affordable for its quality and perfection. At night, staff members play guitar and welcome you to join them. Good and healthy food what they will bring to you any time when you feel the need for it.

Great staff, made you feel like home and help you out with everything. After asking them about anything, they immediately take one of their bikes and get you what you want. After we lost our JBL box in the room, Tim handed it over to a friend who brought it to us. A pool is a great place to chill at Gili T and this pool really does its job. Huge room and we really liked the breakfast. The distance to the beach is perfect, close enough to reach everything within a short walk but off enough to have a quiet neighbourhood - besides the mosque.

More power outlets would have been nice, sometimes a cockroach appeared in our bathroom and the door to the family 4 bed room is made for smaller people than us. There's a fancy decoration wood hanging directly above eye level so that you don't notice it if you're around 1.8m tall. However its too small for you to fit below... We hit our heads multiple times

We were made to feel extremely welcome on arrival, the guys who work here are some of the most amazing individuals we’ve ever met. After staying for one week we felt like part of the family. Very relaxing vibe with a great pool to chill in the sunshine, fun evenings with the guys playing guitar and singing songs together. So happy and full of life everyday. We will miss everyone at Bale Sasak!

Everyone was so nice and welcoming! The manager Tim was very hospitable and awesome! He would take out his acoustic, play music and sing for us and made us feel very welcomed. 10/10 service. Thank you Tim!

The staff at Bale Sasak is super welcoming and friendly. Especially Tim, the manager will make sure that you have an awesome stay and experience on gili tranwangan. He helped to organize snorkeling trips for us, rented out bikes and introduced us to an awesome scuba diving school. He also managed to do our laundry and encouraged us to ask for anything we would need. You just need to call Tim Tim Tim. We really enjoyed our stay and felt very welcomed by all of the staff. We even stayed 4 nights longer than planned. We would like to say thank you to Tim and everyone else who keep this place running. We would definitely come back again.

It is very close to the beach and the mainstreet on the island. All the staff were beyond friendly and made me feel right at home. You can get a massage here for a very good price and also rent a bike.
