The staff are all beautiful, the rooms are clean and are cleaned well every second day, they smell nice and the bed has an thin duvet not just a flat sheet. The water pressure was good and hot water was consistent. The rooms are quiet and have great aircon you can hear the mosque but not very clearly. Breakfast is made fresh in-house and is great, the boys also make amazing coffee I am happy I made the choice to stay at the mantra many other places are run down and not as they seem online that is for sure. Will definitely stay again Thanks for looking after me 🙂

We loved everything about this property, especially the staff, they are exceptional - friendly, positive, extremely helpful, polite we can’t praise them enough. Our room was lovely, very relaxing with a very comfortable bed and pillows made for a great night sleep. Breakfast was delicious, we particularly enjoyed the smoothie fruit bowls and the best pancakes we have ever had. We loved the pool right outside the room with comfortable beanbags to sit and chill on a morning. We hired bikes and borrowed towels for the beach. The hotel is about a 5-6 minute walk from the harbour / main strip which makes it a great location. We extended our stay by a further 3 night we loved it that much and tried to extend again but they were fully booked. We would DEFINITELY choose to stay here again and would highly recommended it to anyone.

There is absolutely nothing to dislike about this hotel.

Check in went smoothly and I was allowed to check in an hour early which was convenient. Staff is very nice, friendly and efficient and did not hesitate to put a mosquito screen up in the bathroom where flies could enter immediately after I had asked for it. The room is equipped with the necessary gadgets even a TV which unfortunately does not show any channels of use to me but this is a personal thing. There was a slight damp smell in the room but then again you find this in a lot of Indonesian hotels. To me the bed was very comfy but this is personal taste. I like firm mattresses and sleep on a folded towel because pillows are often not my taste. You can fill up your bottles with free water in the lobby. The pool is small but refreshing and does not get a lot of sun which means water is a bit cold but you do not get any sunburn either. Walls are a bit thin and I had to ask my neighbors at 2.00 at night to dial it down a bit. On the other hand there is not much other noise – just the odd prayer call. Traveling in a Muslim country you know beforehand what to expect so this is not an issue to me – and the hotel provides earplugs. For the hotel is about 300 m away from the port you can walk it easily on paved grounds and you do not hear the party noise from there. The place is very modern as one can see in the pictures so do not expect Indonesian style. All in all, I liked my stay there and would definitely stay again. The price is a bit too high to me, it did not include breakfast. But then again it is the Gilis.

Price could be a bit lower. Smell in the room could be taken care of by some inscents, aromas or the like.

We loved the staff here at Mantra Gili, they made our stay at Gili T so much more enjoyable. Always welcoming us ‘home’ with a smile. Walkable distance the main strip/beach but far enough that you don’t get all the noise from beach clubs. Great pool and pool towels available to cool off. The room was clean and linen changed as you wanted - you were able to indicate this on the sign outside the room. You could fill up water bottles with filtered water in the kitchen. The breakfast was lovely and included a main meal selection, smoothie or juice and coffee

The water pressure was a bit low but perhaps this is normal for the island. Wifi was a bit patchy when a lot of people were using it, although this seems to be standard on Gili islands, just something to be aware of if you need internet

Fantastic place to stay! Our room was exactly as shown in the pictures—very clean and well-maintained. Upon arrival, you're greeted by a pleasant and relaxing outdoor area with a clean pool. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, ensuring our comfort throughout our stay. The hotel's location is perfect, just a 5-7 minute walk from the harbor. My friend and I spent five nights here, and it was a delight to return each day to a freshly made room, clean sheets, and fresh bath towels. We will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone visiting Gili T.

The walls are a bit thin, so you can hear guests outside during late hours, which can be disturbing. Although the property has ‘Quite time’ between 10pm and 8am, this isn't mentioned anywhere on Booking.com or at reception. As a suggestion, including this information in the ‘Important Info’ section on Booking.com or having the receptionist mention it during check-in could remind guests to be mindful of others and help staff avoid awkward conversations about noise.

This small boutique hotel has an excellent location, only a 5-minute walk from the harbor. Staff are polite and are ready to help you with anything you may need during your stay. We've loved staying here. Breakfast was very tasty and affordable. We can, without a doubt, recommend Mantra Gili to those looking for a clean, affordable and quiet oassis away from the main street. We will visit again in the future. Thank you, Mantra Gili, for a wonderful experience.

Occasionally heard doors slammed by other guests

The Mantra Gili is one of if not the best hotel we’ve stayed in. The location of the hotel is nearly perfect, staff is friendly and for the breakfast you should stick with theirs instead of going to look for somewhere else! Everything in het room is working perfectly just the way you want it to be.

There is one thing but you can’t blame it on the hotel, and that is the sound of the praying of the mosque (we where here during Ramadan so it was more than usual)

Staff was great, the location is quite good and close to other things, but also quiet and not in the middle of the party area. The room was big enough and comfortable, with a huge shower in the "deluxe" room, as well as a little balcony where you can dry your snorkeling/diving gear.

Nit picking, but the road in front of the property is not paved, so you get quite muddy getting back home. This also makes it difficult if you have a suitcase instead of a backpack, so plan/pack accordingly. This obviously has nothing to do with the property, but unless you want to be woken up by the prayers from the mosque nearby every morning at 5am, make sure you use the provided ear plugs. Our room also had an unfortunate angle, and then sun rays would hit the bed exactly on my face during sunrise through the bathroom glass door and ceiling, meaning you cannot use any curtains to avoid it. Again, nit picking, use a sleep mask and you should be fine.

The Mantra Gili is a wonderful place to stay as the rooms are spacious, the bed is very comfortable and the breakfast is outstanding. The staff who work there go out of their way to help you and provide great service.

It's nothing to do with the hotel as it's fantastic, however the constant nightly noise from the mosque is way too loud and unbearable. Bring some earplugs as it's unacceptable to have loud disruptions at 3am in the morning all over this beautiful small island.
