Everything was perfect! Koho Air is by far the nicest hotel on the island, at least from what we saw when walking around. The place is absolutely beautiful, both the rooms and common areas, swimming pools etc. The staff is super friendly and attentive and makes you feel very welcome. The location is perfect too, 5min walk from the harbor and all the beaches, restaurants etc. are nearby. Food is good and I also had a massage which was amazing. We rented bikes for a day and did a boat tour / snorkeling trip organized by the hotel.

If you are traveling alone, it is better not to include the breakfast when booking the room. The price for one person is cheaper when paid on the spot at the hotel. The breakfast was good but there were almost no options for me since I can’t eat eggs. The staff was however very flexible and found a solution. Thank you!

location is perfect, staff very very friendly I had an excellent massage (island style, very strong) with Ani. The reception guy Dicky was very helpful and helped us to re-organise our boat return from Gili T instead of Lombok. Try to avoid Bangsal. It’s a horrible mafiosi place.

open bathroom.. i have trouble with mosquitos and i would have preferred the bathroom would be enclosed. It looks nice. We had no issues during our stay of three nights. Hotel provides electric mozzie plug ins. Muezzin calling out all the time especially on a Friday. You can’t change that when you travel in a muslim country. At night it wasn’t that loud but I had my ear plugs anyway lol

I can be a tough customer when it comes to hotels but this one blew me away. A gorgeous hotel and the comfiest bed I’ve slept in! Breakfast was 10/10, the service was fab and the aircon greatly appreciated. The open air bathroom is the most stunning I’ve seen in a hotel. I was so comfortable and relaxed here.

I was disappointed to see that the hotel adds 10% service charge onto the mini bar bill, despite it being self serve. 10% service when grabbing a can of coke seems a bit cheeky. Most hotels also warn you when there’s building work taking place (and discount the rooms). There was loud building work by the pool on a couple of the days (think less work happening over Easter). Note also that you have to pay per day for bike rental. It’s a small cost (50,000 IDR) lot of hotels I’ve stayed at offer it as free.

This hotel far exceeded our expectations - the staff were absolutely delightful, friendly and professional and went to great lengths to ensure we felt comfortable and looked after the whole trip. Our room was gorgeous and we felt the photos probably didn't do it justice. The pool area is lovely and was kept spotless during our week long stay, even during storms! We didn't have breakfast here but had lunch which was yum, and some cocktails which were delicious and well made. We had lots of excellent massages at the spa upstairs which is airy and very comfortable. We also loved that we were so close to Ocean5 where we went diving each day. This is an excellent spot on Gili - we were expecting it to be a bit noisier because of the location but it's actually very quiet, with minimal noise from surrounding venues. We really think this is the pick of the accom available on Gili - the staff, the grounds around the pool, the service, it's all excellent, we couldn't fault it. We'll definitely be back.

This super cute bolthole is wonderful. It looks stunning and is comfortable too - rooms are stylish, well appointed and I loved the outdoor bathroom. Lots of thoughtful touches like a snack basket, well-stocked mini bar, and heavenly toiletries. Two pools and plenty of places to lounge or sit. It has such a great vibe. The food is top-notch - I had breakfast and dinner and both were made-to-order, fresh, delicious and huge portions. It’s just a few minutes walk from the harbour, and just round the corner from the main strip, so you’re right at the heart of things. However, I think the staff are the real magic behind Koho Air. Honestly the friendliest, kindest and most helpful team I’ve stayed with. Huge thanks to everyone who made my stay so amazing.

I chose this location as we had bags and I did not want to use a horse drawn cart to get our bags there. It was close to the harbour and super easy to get to. The place is even more beautiful than in pictures. I was very happy we chose the larger of the rooms - we had our own little chill area that was perfect and the size of the room was perfect. The aircon worked well. The staff were great. The coffee was yummy. There was a huge storm when we were there where the entire island was out of power but not koho! They have a generator! I was so happy with our choice

They are currently expanding their hotel. Whilst luckily this didn’t disturb us in our room, we booked for a massage and unfortunately couldn’t enjoy it due to the noise.

Just beautiful! Being around the pool is lovely and waking up to a quiet space has been blissful. Room was cleaned everyday to perfection, plenty of towels, great great staff, bike to rent for the day available, comfy bed&pillows and perfectly working AC. I was not sure whether to stay by the beach or central but I am so glad I stayed in KOHO Air! :)

Everything perfect! Just small notes to near future travellers: There was construction next door which was fine but just if you book a massage, make sure to book early in the morning or that the construction is over :)

Absolutely everything!!! From the minute we arrived it felt like home. What a gorgeous little hotel tucked away, only a few minutes walk from the ferry port. Couldn’t recommend this location more, we explored the rest of the island & would 100% say this hotel was the nicest & in the best location. Where do I start with the staff… what a dream team!! Every single one of them were amazing at their jobs, so kind & attentive and made our stay perfect. I have never seen a cleaner hotel which is maintained by all the staff daily. Our rooms were absolutely spotless every single day, always lovely to walk into after a day at the beach. This is by far our favourite hotel in Bali yet - thank you so much to everyone at Koho!! We will be back!!

I’m convinced that this the best hotel on Gili Air. I loved everything about it. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The staff was amazing and kind. I had the best massage and the best beef rendang during my trip so far. Also there are very cute cats on the property. Great value for money. Would definitely stay again.

Unfortunately, the rooms are pretty badly soundproof. I could always hear when my neighbors opened their bathroom door. Also, the walkie talkies of the staff are really loud so I could hear them when they cleaned the rooms next to me.

-not good value for money since with the same price you can get for example a private villa in the island -some of the rooms don’t have privacy since they are just by the bigger pool and in some terraces there is no private seating area -small rooms -the staff, although friendly, was not as friendly and smily compared to many other places, both in the Gilies and in Bali
