I came to Musitka only for one night, and ended up extending my stay there for almost 4 weeks. Mustika became a home to me… I moved there during the rainy day, but wanted to be at the hotel near the beach, but just couldn’t make myself leave Mustika. The garden, pathway to my bungalow, the smell of Jepun/Frangipani flowers and the cosy, most pleasant welcoming home vibe bounded me to Mustika and its staff. I loved looking at the relaxing scenery of green oasis, white flowers, and the blue sky or the starry night from the hammock on the porch… this place will relax and heal you. The bungalow is spacious, clean, great AC, rather quiet. The fridge is “tired” but you can use the one at the reception. The staff were amazing, they give you space and privacy, but also they became my family during this trip, wonderful souls. Breakfast was abundant and delicious. The sweet notes on the banana leaf in the morning, free refill water, free yoga mat, free snorkelling equipment will save you money! They are very serviceable, don’t be afraid to ask if you need anything to make your stay perfect. Location is amazing. 5min walk to the beaches on the east, the best one for swimming is the one near Chill Out Bungalows, 2-3min away from the center - a lot of restaurants and amazing international food everywhere with a lot of vegan choices! Gili Air is great for solo travelers who travel and work. It’s 15min away from the west and north, from where you can see the sunset. Beach and sunrise in the morning, and longer walk in the evening to the west side, to the open air cinema and cafes, parties if you want… But, Mustika provides you with a peaceful base, a piece of paradise. Make sure to visit nearby restaurant run by locals, Optimiz Prime, 2min away. And for amazing croissants and oat milk latte, working from a cool environment, visit Cafe d’Arts, 3-4min away. I only have words of praise for Mustika!

If anything, I wish they would have a machine for cold water refills. Without it also worked fine, I would cool the water in a glass bottle, in the fridge. But, with the machine, it would be more convenient. Thank you for everything, Mustika!

Pretty much everything. Close to the harbour but not noisy (you'll hear the mosque, but that's true to the island as a whole), the staff is beyond amazing and helpful, delicious breakfast with many options, snorkeling equipment is free of charge, you can rent bikes from them, and the bungalow is spacious and clean. All in all a really good value for money. Really, couldn't recommend more (we booked 3 nights and stayed for 10 more!)

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always going above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. The location of the hotel was perfect, as it was conveniently close to the snorkeling spots, allowing us to easily explore the underwater wonders nearby. The hotel grounds were beautifully maintained, creating a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. The Bungalows are big and clean. What really impressed us was the exceptional service provided by the hotel staff. On the day of our departure, my girlfriend accidentally left her headphones behind in the room. We were waiting at the harbor for our boat when suddenly, a hotel employee appeared with the headphones in hand. It was such a thoughtful gesture and truly showcased the hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a unforgettable vacation. The combination of the stunning accommodation, friendly staff, and remarkable service make it a standout choice. We can't wait to return and create more incredible memories. The accommodation is pretty and the location is very good. It’s central so can reach anywhere in the island by walk. But they also have bike rentals which makes it easier. The staff are very friendly and super helpful. They left us a nice fruit platter with a sweet note while we were out. The breakfast is also nice and the juices were delicious. Definitely recommended.

A lovely place, nice bungalows surrounded by a beautifully maintained garden. We were amazed by the price-quality. Ayu and her team are extremely friendly and helpfull. I loved the hammock! Thank you so much Ayu and team, we really would love to come back one day!

The only minus was the very loud Mosque nearby, luckily the room was (at least for us) soundproof enough to be able to sleep at night.

Lovely, welcoming and helpful staff who left us cute notes each morning. Very comfortable and clean room, nice outside bathroom with a terrace and hammock. The garden is charming and the breakfast was very nice. Free refillable drinking water and a stocked fridge if you wish to buy a beer or soft drink. Couldn’t ask for more with the price we paid.

This place is amazing! Spacious, clean and comfortable rooms with a lot of little touches that are often missing from affordable accommodation (mosquito net and repellent, clothes airer on the terrace and a personalised note on the breakfast place settings, for example). The staff are really friendly and helpful and the property is situated down a quiet side street, away from the crowds but still within easy walking distance of everything.

I loved my stay at Mustika and stayed here longer than originally planned :) The place is located a few minutes by walk from the beach, also there’s a couple of yoga studio nearby. The atmosphere at Mustika is exceptional, everyone is so friendly and makes you feel like you’re home ☺️

Our stay at Mustika Lodge was so lovely!! we highly recommend this place, it’s a great location, the breakfast is super yummy and the bungalows are very nice! The staff here are absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely stay.

The staff is super friendly and are willing to help you with every question. There is free water refill and bicycle rental for 50k per day. Everything is really clean, the AC works perfectly, the bathroom is spacious and breakfast comes with fruit, tea/coffee and your meal of choice (pancake, egg etc.). They also wrote super cute messages on banana leaves every day for breakfast :) we originally just booked 1 night because on booking was only 1 night left. Right as we wanted to leave, they offered us to stay longer because they always keep 1 room for people who want to stay longer. This saved our trip to gili air because the next hostel (Gili Buana) was just a horrible experience. They have a monkey in chains in their backyard. Dont go there! All in all a wonderful time @ Mustika Ocean Lodge. We are so grateful for our time here. They also have a wonderful garden.
