Amazing friendly staff, great location, chill vibes. The bungalow is cosy and the breakfast is humble. The staff really make this place stand out; always friendly, happy to give you any kind of advice for the island. The location is more central, not quite in the action so its quiet, and not too far from anywhere - great if you like walking, or you can hire a bike to get around. As others have stated, it is close to the Mosque so you can hear the call to prayers from here. It didn't wake me up or bother me, but something to consider for light sleepers.

The bungalows are amazing, really clean with good airconditioning and a nice shower. The omelette you can get for breakfast is really tasty, coffee and fresh water you get for free all day/night. I would recommend to try the smoothie bowls and the drinks they are selling in the restaurant, the taste is great. The staff working here are such friendly, kind and fun people. Nia is the most happiest girl I have met in Gili air and she put a smile on my face every morning, which is worth a lot. Neeta is also really friendly, hard working and kind, you can ask her anything and she is really helpful. Putra is amazing too and can help fix any problem you are having. When I came in, the faucet of the sink was not there and he immediately apologized and put it back on, as it was just freshly cleaned and painted. He is a really fun, nice guy and always asks how you are doing. He likes to dance too! :) Then the owner… Iain, really really amazing guy from Canada who can help you to find the best places to eat (for example optimized prime!!), helps you to get cheap bike, gives tips about what to do all around the island, is good with helping people for snorkeling/diving. Also really fun guy to hang with and drink beers with. Thank you all for making this one of the best holidays of my life. Love Gili Air always and definitely coming back to this place again. 🙏🏼

Super cute and pretty little bungalow in a beautiful and serene garden! Super cool bathroom, good Wi-Fi, lovely terrace, free tea, coffee and drinking water all day, delicious good sized breakfast and amazing friendly, cheery, chatty and helpful staff! Ian the owner was really helpful and lovely to chat too as well as the other staff (shout out to Nia for being the most smiley and lovely person and making us feel so welcome!)

The location was great, close to the port, and center of island so everything is within a ten minute walk. The staff were simply amazing - every time we walked in we were greeted with “Welcome Home”. The breakfast was the best!

As my name is Florine I had to book this place when I saw it and I'm so glad I did! I stayed at Florine's garden for two nights after a three day trek of the Rinjani and it was exactly what I needed - a lovely place to relax. The room was super clean, spacious and comfortable and the location is perfect (right by the beach but also easily walkable from the harbour), but what really makes it an extra great place to stay is the staff. Florine and crew go the extra mile to make you feel at home. Highly recommend. Bonus: there's cute cats and chickens roaming around the green garden.

I got woken up the first night by the mosque at 5am, but this will be everywhere on the island and was easily solved with some earplugs.

We really enjoyed our stay at Florine’s Garden. The staff was very kind and accommodating. Personally I really liked the atmosphere in the garden, it felt very peaceful. Also the location is great, thank you again!

The only thing I would recommend is bringing earplugs, as the mosque can be quite loud at times. Of course, this is not the hostels fault.

The owner Florine is really lovely and helpful who spoke excellent English and knowledgeable and her staff also friendly and attentive, the breakfast was very tasty and the fresh mango juice made from the fruit in the gardens for breakfast was a great touch. Good air con and a comfortable bed and nice shower. The bungalows are set in a tranquil setting but a really short walk to beaches and many restaurants. Would definitely recommend this place for a chilled experience, and will be back again.

We had a lovely stay at Florine's Bungalows, a new place. We enjoyed the room : quiet and close to the city center and beaches (5min walk). Efficient AC, good matress. The manager is really nice - like all the staff - and offered free water refills. Breakfast was good, we had fried eggs and banana pancake. Some friendly cats roam in the garden.

Good to know before your stay - There is no hot water - If you need, bring your earplugs because - like almost everywere in the Island - you can ear the mosque at night. 10/10 would stay again !

For the price, this place made for a lovely stay. Sweet, individual lodgings, a bit tired round the edges but functional and clean. Set in a beautiful rustic tropical garden. Lovely staff who looked after us, sorted out snorkeling and even made us ginger tea for when we were feeling unwell!

If visiting during Ramadan, be aware it is close to a mosque, however so are most places on Gili Air - bring ear plugs
