Excellent staff Always lots going on, very well organised Free breakfast and free yoga! NYE events were amazing and free food/drinks provided Great location Only 3 people per dorm so less crowded/noisy Could extend my stay easily and they gave me a discount

My only negatives (which is why I gave it a 9 not a 10) is that there were cockroaches in our bathroom and no amount of spraying them got rid of them. Also the toilet paper wasn’t replaced as often as it needed to be for a female dorm. Aside from that, I couldn’t fault it. I came at NYE so it was a lot more expensive but at normal times of year, it is very good value

Close to the main strip and shop round the corner. Staff were brilliant, so friendly and helpful. Happy hour was a great deal and the cocktails were amazing. Lots of activities both in the day and at night, so perfect for solo travellers, even quieter ones like me. Small dorms with three beds which was nice, but plenty of places to socialise and chill. Not too loud because the socialising mainly happened on the rooftop, so you could get an early night if you needed to. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Not the cheapest but worth it in my opinion. Would have liked the aircon to be in the centre of the room, it was by a bed so that when their curtain was closed, it wasn't as effective. But still worked enough. Wifi went in an out.

Hot shower! At least on the private room. The hostel has a great vibe, with activities at night and they also organised snorkeling trip. Which was great to connect with people. The location is walking distance to the harbour, in a quiet street.

Breakfast can be better, only portion was pancakes or waffles, both are sweet option. Some eggs and bread would definitely be better option for people that don’t like sweet breakfast. Iced coffee was good though. Air conditioner in the private room wasn’t working properly. It was cooling but not as cold as a small room fitted with aircon would be. Maybe some maintenance!?

We had one private room and one hostel bed in a female dorm and have zero complaints about either. The beds were comfy and the rooms/bathrooms were lovely and clean. There is a whatsapp group for the guests where activities are posted. While they do organise snorkel trips and the staff take people out at night, there isn't a constant feeling that you need to interact and party during the day which we loved - it meant we could relax in the day and socialise in the evenings if we wanted. The staff also make sure everyone is out by 10.30pm so if you did want to stay in, you get quiet. Happy hour here is amazing (2 cocktails for 100k), Elvis' Margaritas were just perfect and a welcome change from weeks of bintangs and spirit mixers. Close to everything and we would stay here again.

The breakfast was great however it needed a savory option. Eating sweet waffles/pancakes for breakfast every day for three days was way too much for us. The pool needs some beanbags or loungers, the deckchairs aren't comfy to chill in by a pool so we didn't use it much and I didn't see many others using it either. It is quite expensive when you consider its a hostel (£55 a night for a private room and £20 for a hostel room), but I think Gili T hostels are all becoming quite expensive now.

Just like all the other reviews, I extended my stay here 3x lol I was supposed to stay for 3 days and ended up staying for 12! All the staff, including reception, bar tenders, volunteers/ reps, janitors are all AMAZING. The vibe is like a big family. It’s perfectly social but not intense party hostel energy. Cocktails are great too! The mixed dorms are ok, the female dorms are much nicer. I have recommended this to so many people and will continue too!! I will be back 🫶🏽

Brilliant social hostel. They have a WhatsApp QR code you can join where one of the volunteers will send any updates on events etc happening. Also written on the board what happens every day (Breakfast 8am-10am, Happy Hour 7pm-9pm) I had the double room which was spacious and comfortable. Staff are brilliant too 👍

Couple of small things 1) Shower had no hot water (,maybe that's an island issue) 2) Would have liked use of a kitchen facility where I could refrigerate my water bottle at the very least. Anyways, tiny things, great hostel though 👌

A perfect place for solo travellers especially late 20s-early 30s. The snorkelling trip was excellent value for money, the staff super friendly, and I had 3 of the best nights here with the group of people I met! The staff facilitate activities and meeting people, as well as getting food and bikes hired. Really loved this place!

The facilities are a little damp and outdated but solo rooms had aircon, and really it didn’t matter because everything else was so great!

Super fun and social hostel. Met some awesome people. The rooftop happy hour was a great way to meet people. Nice chill out communal space. Really close to shops, bars, restaurants and cafes. Staff and volunteers were friendly and fun. The boat snorkelling trip with the hostel group was great. Had a Whatsapp group chat which made it easy to know about the activities. Great breakfast!

Would have been nice if the bathrooms in the hostel rooms were cleaned more regularly and bins were emptied more frequently.

Very nice hostel in Gili T! The breakfast was amazing! All you can eat omelette, waffles and fruit! They had yoga which I unfortunately didn't join during my stay but everyone was saying how good it was! Also went on the snorkeling trip with them which was really nice to see some corals and turtles! I stayed on a single bed in the room which still had curtains which is a great touch!

Such a lovely place. The people there really make your stay more enjoyable. Also have been to the other Tipsea Turtle in Gili Air which is also a really good place. Volunteers Jake (6’5) and Poppy at Gili Air really made my stay there much more enjoyable. I felt really part of the team there and I spent in total more than two weeks at a Tipsea Turtle at Gili T and Gili Air. Really go stay at this place and you will see yourself extending your stay multiple times like I did:)
