The breakfast options were really good but the best thing about the hotel was it’s staff who were simply amazing. Everyone from the breakfast staff to the front of house receptionists to the security guards were very friendly and extremely helpful. I came to Indonesia from the U.K. to get married and I stayed in various hotels during my stay in Indonesia including a number of 5* hotels but Ibis Styles Tanah Abang was my favourite.. Thank you for your kind hospitality and I will definitely return here next time I come to Indonesia! 🙂

The staff were so friendly. They kept the room always clean and comfortable.

Wifi was slow and disconnected periodically. When booking , the room explanation says it has a view but it turned out my room was just right in front of a tall building. Due to this I could not see any view or even hesitant to open curtain being afraid that people working in the building could see me inside. Would have been nicer if they could actually prepare a room with a proper view especially my stay was for 1 week.

The staff at ibisstyles Hotel ( Fajri, Hannisa ) to mention a few were nothing short of outstanding. From the moment I checked in, I felt welcomed and valued. The front desk team was friendly and efficient, always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests. Their local knowledge was invaluable in helping me navigate the city. If i visit Jakarta 10 times, it would definitely be the same hotel

Centrally located which is both a bonus and a boon. Bed comfortable, ie. soft but not too soft, good night's sleep. Lovely staff.

Bathroom and especially the toilet, tiny, fan loud. Cpuld hardlyget in the toilet door. We could not turn off one light at night because of the confusion of switches. Moving the mirror separating wash basin and bedroom shut it out but not off. It's far from any restaurants, and the restaurant on the ground floor is supremely indifferent. Getting there in rush hour takes an age. It's right on a busy intersection where the road is forced to narrow by long on-going roadworks from 3 lanes to one. Took us 30 minutes to crawl 30 yards to the entrance. Get out of the taxi and walk.

Need to take grab/gojek to nearby places. There's also a construction site adjacent to it and mostly loud at the middle of the night. I did got warned by this at checking in and unfortunately there were full at the time to move rooms and was told that they will move me if there is a empty room. I did say it was ok since i was a heavy sleeper. But i think it was too loud and was waking up by the loud noise and i was staying at level 8. I mentioned this and they were able to move me the next day.

Everything you'd expect from an Ibis Style: Stylish, very comfortable room, with a great view over the city. There's no hassle hunting down somewhere to eat, because the breakfast spread is extensive and there's room service until late in the evening or an extensive food buffet for lunch or dinner for a fixed price. The room has central air con, which is easy to get to a comfortable temperature. Plenty of seating. Coffee available on site. There's also a shop right next door where you can buy snacks and extra water.

The staff were sometimes very helpful and sometimes not so helpful. They were able to provide some extra food options for me at breakfast, as I'm gluten intolerant. However, when I suffered a ruptured ear drum and was very unwell, I asked them to bring a food delivery to my room, and they would not. Overall, good, though.

This hotel has a lot going for it. Families with younger children can spend time playing outside in a children's playground and the hotel also provides movie nights, with children in mind. Staff are very helpful and professional. Breakfast is mostly locally produced and there is a wide range of foods to choose from - my favourite was a kind of porridge called bogor ayam. The beds are soft and comfortable making for a good night's rest.

There was noise coming from a construction site across the road which, although out of the hotel's control, had a negative impact on the serenity of being in the room.

Jakarta is huge but still location wise it is quite central. Hotel rooms are very clean and modernish decor. Beds are very comfortable and you can sleep soundly (except if your Neighbour shuts the door late in night then you can hear it - so not perfect sound proofing). The staff is excellent and they gave me a room with a view. I had a minor issue but they resolved it immediately. The breakfast is fabulous spread and definitely a highlight. It is definately one of the best IBIS I have stayed and pricing wise it really good value for money.

The hotel misses on having a gym or pool which is important for long term travellers like me.

I recently stayed at Ibis styles jakarta tanah abang hotel and was thoroughly impressed. For the price, the hotel offers incredible value. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The breakfast was a highlight—delicious and varied, with something for everyone. What truly set this stay apart, though, was the staff. They were exceptionally helpful and kind, going above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was perfect. If you’re looking for a hotel that combines great value, excellent food, and outstanding service, I highly recommend this hhotel. I’ll definitely be returning!

There's a site construction nearby, but at night, it was quite.

Booked 2 rooms at Ibis Style Tanah Abang. Hotel location was accessible to shopping paradise. A walking distance to Tanah Abang Wholesale. But we took gojek/grab to Tanah Abang and food restaurant. Lots of street food &restaurant. Beside Tanah Abang Wholesale, there's another nearby mall; Sarinah & Thamrin City,last not least Monas is nearby too. As we booked the room without breakfast, no issue of finding food around the area. Overall smooth process upon check-in and check-out. Staff are friendly.
