This was my second time staying there and once again it was great. It was also nice to see Gian again upon check-in. Everything was nice I enjoyed my stay and hope to stay here again when I come back to Jakarta.

It would be better if all the rooms had the bidet spray and the toilet seats should be made of ceramic instead of plastic for better hygiene. Wish the arcade and games facilities were available throughout the week.

The breakfast options were really good but the best thing about the hotel was it’s staff who were simply amazing. Everyone from the breakfast staff to the front of house receptionists to the security guards were very friendly and extremely helpful. I came to Indonesia from the U.K. to get married and I stayed in various hotels during my stay in Indonesia including a number of 5* hotels but Ibis Styles Tanah Abang was my favourite.. Thank you for your kind hospitality and I will definitely return here next time I come to Indonesia! 🙂

A Delightful Stay! I recently stayed at the IBIS Styles Hotel Tanah Abang, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by a beautiful atmosphere at the entrance — modern, stylish, and inviting. The decor immediately set a positive tone for the stay. What truly stood out was the friendly and attentive staff. Every team member greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel genuinely welcome. Their service was prompt and professional, always ready to assist with any requests. The cleanliness of the entire hotel was also impressive. From the lobby to the rooms, everything was spotless and well-maintained, giving a fresh and comfortable feel throughout. But what really made my stay even more convenient was their laundry service — truly the best! It was fast, efficient, and my clothes came back perfectly clean and neatly folded. It’s a great bonus for travelers who value reliable laundry options. Overall, I highly recommend IBIS Styles Tanah Abang for anyone visiting the area. The staff were so friendly. They kept the room always clean and comfortable.

Wifi was slow and disconnected periodically. When booking , the room explanation says it has a view but it turned out my room was just right in front of a tall building. Due to this I could not see any view or even hesitant to open curtain being afraid that people working in the building could see me inside. Would have been nicer if they could actually prepare a room with a proper view especially my stay was for 1 week.

Very reasonable price. Downstairs restaurant and buffet breakfast were excellent. Free water available from machines throughout the hotel which saves on plastic waste. The location is good, quite near Merdeka Square, and next to Tanah Abang market. There is an Indomaret convenience store in the next door Midpoint Place. It is on a busy road so I advise getting a quiet room if possible. Staff were very courteous, and special thanks to Natalia for sorting out my taxi.

Water pressure was a bit low. Aircon is rather noisy as other reviews mention, but it didn't personally bother me.

The best part was that the staffs were really nice. All the staff I met while staying at the hotel were nice. And it was nice that the sTREATs Restaurant in the lobby was running late into the evening. I had to have a late dinner because of my schedule, but I had a nice dinner thanks to the restaurant in the lobby. Nasi Goreng here was really good! And I don't remember the name, but I remember the male employee who helped me while I was waiting for Grab to get to the airport. Thank you very much!

If I had to say something unfortunate, it was my first time in Jakarta, so I felt a little sorry about the location because I didn't have a sense of distance. Shopping malls like Grand Indonesia took around 15 minutes by Grab, and old town areas like Kota Tua took around 20 minutes. The location isn't very good, but I don't think it's bad.

It has truly been a wonderful experience for us from the moment we arrived at the hotel lobby in the morning for luggage drop until checking out. Everything has exceeded our expectations. I’ve stayed at many hotels across Asia, but this has been one of the best experiences so far. We really appreciated the thoughtful gesture of offering to join the twin beds to better accommodate our family, it was such a considerate touch. When we returned from the afternoon heat at PIK, walking into a cool, air-conditioned room that was already prepared for us was the best feeling ever. It showed a level of care that didn’t go unnoticed. The children’s section on the weekend was also a highlight and truly made my son’s day. We even got a complimentary horse ride on Sunday. He was so happy and excited, and as parents, seeing our child enjoy himself brought us a lot of joy. We have stayed before at Kempinski and Ashley Tang for business purposes, but for the quarter of $$, we didn't expect much, but it exceeding our expectations. The room itself is clean, working air cond, comfortable, and well-designed, we couldn’t ask for more. The breakfast is great, and there is variety.

The staff at ibisstyles Hotel ( Fajri, Hannisa ) to mention a few were nothing short of outstanding. From the moment I checked in, I felt welcomed and valued. The front desk team was friendly and efficient, always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests. Their local knowledge was invaluable in helping me navigate the city. If i visit Jakarta 10 times, it would definitely be the same hotel

Centrally located which is both a bonus and a boon. Bed comfortable, ie. soft but not too soft, good night's sleep. Lovely staff.

Bathroom and especially the toilet, tiny, fan loud. Cpuld hardlyget in the toilet door. We could not turn off one light at night because of the confusion of switches. Moving the mirror separating wash basin and bedroom shut it out but not off. It's far from any restaurants, and the restaurant on the ground floor is supremely indifferent. Getting there in rush hour takes an age. It's right on a busy intersection where the road is forced to narrow by long on-going roadworks from 3 lanes to one. Took us 30 minutes to crawl 30 yards to the entrance. Get out of the taxi and walk.

Good evening, thank you and I was happy with my stay with you, but there is a note that I hope you pay attention to, because I was taking my mother's medicine and I could not put it in the refrigerator because it was not cooling well. When I woke up in the middle of the night, I discovered that it was not working. I contacted the reception and they were quick to respond to me. They sent a specialist to see what the problem was and he discovered that it was disconnected and it was similar to the electricity. I thank you for the speed with which you arrived and solved the problem, which was maybe 3 in the morning, and when I wanted to go out, it was not hot and it was not cooling. I hope you pay attention, but I will advise and recommend your beautiful hotel to family and friends so that they can stay with you, God willing, for the excellent service and good cooperation of the employees and the beautiful smile when they see me, they smile, and this is something beautiful and comfortable after arriving from a long trip, and I am an elderly person who wants me to take good care of him
