It's only an 18 minut walk from the airport, or you can leave the gates and take the walkway towards the Al Iklas Mosque, there will be a lot motor-taxis, or call yourself a grab (price $1-2). The beds in the female dorm are spacious and very comfortable. The A/C works well and there is a remote in the room to control it. There are also two private bathrooms in the room and some more outside. Staff is lovely, they offer printing services and I was also able to leave my extra luggage for 50k while I went to Komodo islands, which was wonderful!

The bathrooms could use an update, but its not too bad. You can hear road traffic in the pool and common areas

We stayed due to the proximity to the airport, just 5-10 mins away. The beds were comfy & the storage lockers were ideal. The connected cafe was great, super nice coffees too. The pool was clean & refreshing and we spent a lot of time chilling there. Nice comfy sofa. The staff were so so lovely & helpful. Overall great stay, would stay again.

It was nearly impossible to speak to someone at the hostel before I arrived, as I wanted to store a bag and needed to know the price. When I dropped off the bag, the price had gone up 5x, but when I explained they actually gave me a discount off the original price which was very nice.

The inside condition of the kettle (coffee service station) : I think the owner should invest in a new kettle *just an idea*. The non-stop vibration/vibrating sound just on the other side of the wall in the mixed dorm (ground floor): it's the same noise one can expect to find when sleeping next to the swimming pool filter pump/motor.

What can I say, it's perfect. The bed is super comfy. They use good quality bed sheets and nice white linen curtain. Inside the room only four beds yet with two bathrooms. Guests are quiet and respectful. There is a large public area for sitting and eating. They offer free tea and coffee. There is a nice little swimming pool outside surrounded by lots of plants. The staff is so friendly. Outside the hostel there are a lot of cheap local restaurants to try Indonesian food. It's also not far from shopping malls, cafeterias, Kuta beach, money exchange places. Oh, I walked from the airport to the hostel. Ideal for someone who arrives later and has no cash or sim card to order a taxi to go very far. 100% recommended. Kuta is a district worth exploring.

Very nice pool with a refreshing temperature. The staff were exceptionally kind. The room was very spacious and all beds have great curtains. The common area on the ground floor is very comfortable and suitable to relax or do work.

The aircon is terrible and always leaking. It is not powerful enough for an 8 bed dorm. Very weak. They need to upgrade it or buy a second one. The upper bunks are especially hot because of this. They only provide winter duvet as well which is very strange. It makes the problem worse. If they provided a think duvet cover, this wouldn’t be as much of an issue

The hostel was amazing and it offered everything I needed after my long flight. I managed to change my dormitory bed for a private room and it was great. The facilities are basic but the room (and the hostel) was very clean and comfortable. The staff is also nice and welcoming. The location is also perfect, as it's probably not more than 10-15 min by Grab from the airport. Good value for money!

The only thing I didn't like was the fact that there were no bed sheets (for covering yourself) but only a blanket. As someone that doesn't like to sleep with the A/C on, I constantly needed to switch it on and off, as when it was on it was very cold with no bed sheet (still too hot for a blanket) but when it was off it was too hot. But that was not a big deal and apart from that everything was fine.

It was my first time staying in a hostel in my life :) And I’m so glad I chose Lokal Bali Hostel for my first experience. (I’m currently staying in a hostel in Ubud, and I really miss Lokal Bali Hostel 😞) First of all, I walked to the hostel from the airport — the location is amazing! The staff are friendly and understanding people, and the place is super clean. If I ever go to Kuta again, I will definitely stay here once more. I highly recommend it to everyone. 🥳❤️🫶🏻

It's only an 18min walk from the airport. Or you can walk out the fence of the airport and get a motor taxi from there for 1 euro, which is great. Use grab app if you have mobile data. The hostel is quite nice, the beds are comfortable, the AC works great! I loved that I could leave my luggage there for 50k when I flew to Komodo!

You can hear the road noise by the pool. It's a bit pricey, but it's close to the airport so go figure:)

The location is great, within 20 min walking distance to the Airport. I arrived too early before check-in, but the nice staff allowed me to leave my bag and use the swimming pool to cool down. Beds in the female dorm are comfy, spacious, and the curtains make it a more private space. The room and bathroom were clean. The hostel has one owner of a cafe and spa next door, I went for a smoothie bowl at the cafe and for a foot massage at the spa, it was amazing and good value.

Close to the airport They have a really good cafe next to the hostel! The staff was nice and helpful The swimming pool was nice and they always cleaned it ! The bed was big and comfy!

Just the cover was white so if someone turned on the light could wake you up And the time I stayed , someone was snoring so bad even though I had the ear plugs and the group of friends in the room were talking so loud I didn't get it why don't they get a room for themselves? but it was not the hostel problem ! Just by luck ?😂 They don't have a lift so It is not too friendly for the suitcase but they will help you!
