I liked everything about this place. The location was great, room, balcony, bathroom, beds, bedsheets clean, towels clean, everything was perfect. The best part was the behaviour of everyone there was so courteous. They serve breakfast of your choice on the balcony every morning. You can actually see the sunrise lying on the bed. I can go on and on.. .there were many things to appreciate. Perfect place for couples to stay. This place deserves more than 10 rating.

The water in the shower was hard water so you have to use a lot of shampoo and conditioner.

The views, the porch and hammock, the location, and the 4 great restaurants nearby. One for each night of our stay! This location is perfect if you want to see the entire island. You are about halfway between the East and West side so a tour to both sides is equidistant. You are also very close to the port where you can go on snorkel and scuba tours and not too far, and a very safe drive from the port. Some of the other hotels we saw had sketchy drives and broken roads that I couldn’t imagine having to navigate out of each day. Also, the family/staff are so very friendly and are looking out for you. They make sure your tour drivers are professional and they are not trying to overcharge you and they check in with you after to make sure everything went well. we felt very at home at the Malibu Huts. And the breakfasts… The banana pancakes made for you every morning are mind blowing. best pancakes I’ve ever had in my life. I would travel from the US to Bali and take a ferry through stormy waters just to get more of these banana pancakes.

A dog had barked all night the first night, BUT we asked the hotel staff if they could talk to the dog’s owners, which they did and the dog had stopped barking the rest of our stay. The family is great and is on top of anything you may request.

I spent a long time searching different websites and finally came across this little treasure on the island. What caught my eye was the hammock overlooking the ocean — and it did not disappoint! Located on the eastern side of the island, we spent a night at this warm, family-run hut, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. We had heard from someone that a local ceremony was taking place that night, and we really wanted to see it but had no transportation. Wanyan kindly offered to drive us there for a fair price and even took us to two night markets afterward! His wife — the lovely "boss lady" — also generously lent us her sarong so we could attend the ceremony respectfully. We're truly grateful for their kindness and hospitality. If I had one suggestion, it would be to provide a slightly thicker blanket — my friend and I both woke up during the night feeling a bit cold. That said, the sunrise the next morning was absolutely epic, and the Nasi Goreng was 100/100! 👍 Thank you again for such a heartwarming experience, Wanyan and your family! This hidden gem in Nusa Penida is a unique almost-glamping experience on a cliff overlooking the sea… You get a magnificent view of the water from your window & terrace with a relaxing hammock! - On a good day, you get a nice sunrise! - The rooms/ huts have a really organic feel - rooms built with all wood, bathroom made of concrete, rocks/ stones (even comes with a Bali-style open air roof on one side to allow air & some rain to come in , lol) but only a tiny part so you won’t get wet. Lighting is nice & romantic! Vegetarian breakfast is included

the only thing is, the beach below is not safe for swimming. You have to get a driver or scooter to go to the beaches like Atuh Beach & Diamond Beach… On the east side. Kelingking Beach & Crystal Bay on the west side - though it is worth the visits to these beautiful, pristine beaches!

It has the best ocean view you can think of. You can see the beautiful ocean, blue water - right from room windows and balcony. The room is near the ocean - so you can almost always hear the sound of the ocean waves. The room is well equipped with a mini bar fridge, hot water kettle, amenities. Check-in was smooth, staffs are nice. Free breakfast was included. They served that right in the balcony early in the morning along with tea, bananas. There's a restaurant just beside the property, which also has good foods and ocean view. I absolutely loved it and would come to stay here again for sure.

The location and the view are outstanding and the price is super fair. Waking up with the sunrise front of the bed... Was really something we will not forget. The room was perfectly clean and we get free bottles of water everyday. Staff very friendly and smiling.

Hard to speak English with the staff. Also we rent the scooter next door because they offer a better price when we ask for take only for couple hours. It's pity because we are staying with them they should offer better options for their customers. The breakfast is ok, nothing special. No Shampoo.

Gorgeous view, right over the beach, I loved lying on the hammock on my porch and looking at the sunrise or quiet evening light over the water. Exceptionally beautiful, calm, peaceful place! And very inexpensive, terrific value! The room was comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There were several restaurants right next to the hotel with amazing views of the ocean, very good food and nice staff.

It was pretty far from other things like snorkeling, towns, other attractions, so you have to have a taxi to go most places, but they arranged for a very nice taxi driver for a very reasonable price to take me all around the island.

Charming room with an AMAZING sea view. The balcony area has a table with a bench, and also a hammock. When it got really hot in the afternoon I stayed in the room in air-conditioned comfort listening to the sound of the waves - a great way to unwind! The toilet and shower are outdoors but in a shaded area, and my swimsuit dried fairly quickly there.

1) There were only 3 hangers in a very narrow closet. I would have liked some hooks on the wall to air my clothes/towels in the open. 2) We experienced 2 blackouts in our 3-night stay. This is likely to be an island-wide issue as there is only 1 power plant on the island. If you're afraid of the dark, bring your own (wireless) nightlight.

Malibu huts is situated right in front of the sea. From the balcony you can get the best sunrise view , mount agung and mount rinjani views and the vast sea view with the splashing waves. The room is in itself basic but the host treated us well and took care of our requests. Right next to the hotel is a pretty good restaurant serving all types of drinks and food. This was a major plus given that the hotel had limited food options. Overall a superb stay coz of the amazing sea view and pretty good value for money!

We loved the stay..it was a nice and cosy place..more than anything, we loved the host. We had missed our boat to Gilli so we needed to stay for one day but the rooms were all booked so Vebby helped us book a room with another hotel and ensured that we get good room. Transfer, boat to gilli and kept checking on us until we reached Gilli T. We were really touched with this. Would highly recommend this place. It's like having a family in an unknown country and trust me nothing feels nicer and safer than having someone watch out for you in an unknown place. Thank you Vebby❤️❤️
