Prices of in room dining is extortionate. $33 AUD for a Nasi goreng $11 aud for a Bintang Their poolside dining was the same $42 aud for a cheeseburger and $58 aud for a steak sandwich My brother was staying next door at Kempinsky and their dining options were half the price

The hotel is truly luxurious and ideally located on the coast of Nusa Dua — arguably the most scenic part of the island. It offers everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. One of the most impressive things is how well the hotel balances opportunities for socializing with peaceful moments of solitude — a rare and delicate combination to achieve. I’m still deeply touched by your kindness, sensitivity, and sincerity. It's people like you who make guests feel truly welcome from the very first moment, as if arriving at a home away from home. Special thanks as well to Idu, who looked after us so attentively during breakfast. In my opinion, the hotel's greatest asset is its staff — their human warmth and professional dedication make all the difference. Another highlight is the hotel’s incredible setting and design. Built into a cliffside, the views from the lobby are simply breathtaking. The landscaping is immaculate, and strolling through the spacious grounds is always a visual pleasure. Maintaining such pristine conditions must take tremendous effort. Our room was excellent — a spacious bath, comfortable beds, a large balcony, and a thoughtful layout that included a small snack area. Everything was designed with care and intelligence. The food was another high point. Breakfasts were generous and delicious, and the restaurants exceeded our expectations — especially Bejana, where we also enjoyed live music and traditional Balinese dance on Saturday night. All in all, we were thoroughly impressed with our stay and highly recommend this hotel to anyone who values serenity and refined comfort

I think the concept of the hotel is all rooms are facing the gardens not the beach but we didn’t like that. Having a location by the sea and you don’t enjoy the beach view from rooms is a setback. Also the Breeze cafe closes at 10:30 pm which is early in my opinion. Taking in mind the location is far from the city where you have other options.

Facilities

The garden, room, view, and beach are all beautiful. The area around the pool is especially gorgeous after sunset when fires are lit around it. Everything is clean. What I must highlight is the quality of service and the helpfulness and kindness of the staff. The spa services are outstanding. The breakfast is plentiful. The beach service is excellent and fast. There were always free sunbeds and towels on the beach. Within the facility, you can also get around by buggy, which is available in about 3 minutes. You can buy clothing in the retail shop, and they have everything you might need for the beach. The bathroom is well-stocked with toiletries, which are replenished daily. If there's any issue in the room (such as with the air conditioning or if extra cleaning is needed), assistance arrives within a few minutes.

At breakfast, there were occasional mix-ups with the orders. The women's sauna-jacuzzi area in the spa is quite small, accommodating only two people comfortably. A three-day wedding disrupted two of our relaxing days and evenings, as loud music from the beach could be heard even from the room terrace, making it impossible to unwind. Furthermore, it also extended the room service wait time by an additional 20 minutes. The restaurant service, room service, and minibar are all expensive; the daily cost of mineral water alone reaches around 30 euros per person. While the hotel's responsibility for this is limited, there is quite a bit of trash in the water, such as chocolate wrappers and plastic.

The staff and the grounds! What an amazing team of people who put service at the forefront. All smiles always and just genuine kindness which these days, is hard to come by.

The grounds were exceptional! Stunningly beautiful! The staff went above and beyond for us. My daughter and I received a birthday cake on arrival too. Couldn’t rate the Ritz Carlton in Bali any higher.

the facilities are spotless and beautiful, the food is very high quality and delicious! The rooms are huge and our swim out room was very comfortable for a family of 4. Service is excellent - all of the staff were so kind. The housekeepers were excellent, honest and hardworking.

-there was no background music playing around the pool. - there are no water sports AT ALL available. Not much to do in the day except lay by the pool as the beach isn't good for swimming, snorkelling or water sports. It's great place for those who just want to relax and do nothing but it got a little boring for us. The lobby bar way to hot and not lively at all. Need more fans in restaurants and common areas. overall still a great experience - the staff are all incredible.

You get what you pay for and the Ritz Carlton lives up to that adage. It's a large resort spread over acres of oceanside land. From the reception, there is an elevator to a station to be transported to your room, which of course did not disappoint. Though "slightly" aging, the room has a salubrious feel, with a large melt-into bed with a view over your feet to a swim-up pool. There was plenty of space for luggage and people to stretch out. Of course, there were touches like automatic shutters and blinds, an espresso machine and a balcony with steps into the pool outside the room. Service everywhere was as you'd expect, above and beyond. The pool was large and irresistible and despite the rain warm and inviting. The ocean on this side of the island is clear and beautiful so our time was spent between the sea, the pool and the private pavilions with drinks in hand. We ate at the poolside restaurants which of course was sensational. Again, the service was amazing and the people were lovely at all times.

We were warned -and had - a monkey room invasion. It wasn't really a problem as they only got some fruit however one person found it amusing and another didn't. The most disappointing thing was only spending the last night of our stay there. Next time we will stay longer.
