My stay here was nothing short of extraordinary, and I am thrilled to share the highlights of this magical destination. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the attentive staff who ensured our comfort throughout our stay. The stunning views from the cliff house, overlooking the pristine Suwehan Beach, were breathtaking and provided a perfect backdrop for relaxation and rejuvenation. A standout aspect of our trip was the incredible service provided by Jan, our driver and guide. Jan's extensive knowledge of the island and its hidden gems made our adventure truly special. He took us to the best secret restaurants where we savored authentic and delicious local cuisine, away from the usual tourist spots. Jan's recommendations were spot on, and each meal was a delightful discovery. Jan also organized some of the most memorable dive experiences we've ever had. His expertise and passion for diving ensured we explored the most stunning underwater locations, teeming with vibrant marine life. These dive trips were impeccably planned, safe, and offered a glimpse into the captivating underwater world of Nusa Penida. The on-site restaurant at Suwehan Beach Cliff House deserves a special mention for its exceptional culinary offerings. Each meal was a feast for the senses, with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients prepared to perfection. The menu featured a delightful mix of traditional Indonesian dishes and contemporary cuisine, satisfying even the most discerning palate. Dining with the sound of the waves crashing below and the stunning sunset views added an extra layer of enchantment to our dining experience. The accommodations were comfortable and thoughtfully designed.

The view from the cliff (and also from balcony of the house) is beautiful. Walking to the beach is possble down the 350 steep steps. On entering the house it was clean and it has some basics such as water cooker and a airco that both function well. This is all at level 2, at level 1 (ground level) the bathroom is to be found. The host also provides breakfast, lunch and dinner which is welcome since there is only one restaurant nearby that closes around 18.00 ish 19.00 ish. Food quality is good, decent warung style. Make sure your motorbike has enough power to carry you and luggage to the sleep roads when you leave Suwehan town towards the so-called teletubbies hills, esp when you're with 2 orang on one bike.

Only a minor thing to us, there's only 1 electrical socket in the room.

The view — why else would we come this far? It's hard to put it in words because from pictures you can make your best effort to imagine but the moment you see it you'd still be awed. The vast openness and tranquility of the ocean from high up will spark a deep sense of reverence for nature in anyone who's lucky to behold such a view. We watched every sunrise from our balcony through our 3 nights stay, it can never be enough. Come, even though it seems far away from everything, it will be worth it. The staff arranged our pick up from the port (takes about 2 hours to arrive), and Yan became our designated driver on Nusa Penida hopping place to place from east to west, checking all our boxes, great guide! (N.B. although the island has way less traffic than in Bali, the terrain here is much more challenging for amateur scooter drivers). There's a beach just down the hotel but it does require some stamina to go up and down, and be careful because the steps are very steep. We recommend to check the tides because we went one morning and the tide was up, in which case you can't swim due to the strong current, and the beach was too flooded to stay. The staff really granted every request we have and their smiles are unforgettable, the nasi-goreng is by far THE BEST we have tried in the 3 weeks between Bali and Lombok (addictive, like the menu said). The bathroom downstairs is humble yet clean, and our rooms is well air-conditioned and clean. There was no mosquitos, not a lot of insects comparing to Bali, and at night it's peaceful and quiet.

There's not enough space to hang your clothes (only a few hooks on the wall near the bed), neither in our room nor downstairs. So we think maybe a few more hooks or a shelf in the room or a small closet downstairs could add a lot of convenience.

The place has a spectacular view, is exceptionally quiet, with wonderful, kind, and gracious service. The owner and the staff attended to my every need and helped organize two tours of the island for me. I was able to easily communicate on WhatsApp with the owner before my arrival, which made planning much easier. The food was also delicious. My air conditioned room was simply furnished and very clean. Each balconied room is in its own structure, so very private. I also enjoyed use of its coffee maker. The sunrise and moonrise were stunning outside my balcony, which quite literally was above a high cliff that descended down onto the ocean. I hope to be back again next summer.

This place is simply paradise on earth! The location is incredible, and from the room, you can enjoy a priceless ocean view. It felt like staying on a boat, as I could hear the sound of the waves all day. Additionally, the host, Ketut, is fantastic—very kind and always ready to satisfy your requests and chat. The restaurant offers delicious dishes made with fresh, local products, all at an unbeatable price. The beach was almost a private beach and reachable with a stunning scenic descent. The descent starts exactly next to the structure. I sincerely hope to return

Staying at the Suwehan Beach Cliff House was a magical experience — the cabins sit right on the edge of a cliff with breathtaking views of the sunrise and Lombok in the distance. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming and I got picked up from the harbour on the other side of the island. The food was delicious, the wifi strong, and I loved watching monkeys pass by my window in the morning.

The suwehan cliff house makes you feel like you are floating above the sea. The sunrise in the morning is breathtaking! If you are looking for a quiet romantic retreat after spending time in Bali, this is the place to stay. The hosts are welcoming, kind and attentive, I hope to return here one day ❤️ The beach is 15 mins walk away, while it's low tide/sunshine window is short 11am - 2pm, it's one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen.

Everything was perfect, the room was amazing and the view was breathtaking, we saw the sunrise eating breakfast at our room as we requested earlier breakfast and the staff was very nice to let us have it.

Unfortunately the only bad thing was that we couldn’t pay with card our dinner the night earlier and as we had no IDR cash we converted the price in € and paid by cash with € and also the toilet is a bit uncomfortable because is not in the room but outside, downstairs

It’s far away from city center .relax and enjoy the stay .It’s still natural location .Can see many monkey nearby .Suwehan beach was so beautiful. You can see the sunrise from balcony and enjoy dinner while listening the waves .if you the hotel from diamond beach ,don’t take the shortcut way .It’s a broken road.Dont trust google maps and take the car way looks a bit longer but safer

Lovely staff, organised transport for us with wayan - great driver I really recommend to pick you up and take you on a tour of the island - we went to diamond beach, goa Giri putri and Kelingklibg. Also organised boat transfers! Great location right near Suwehan beach which is really quiet compared to the other beaches but a very steep walk down.
