This hotel is wonderful, the location is superb with quiet farming fields around and only the sounds of nature. Its a few minutes walk from a beautiful beach which has superb sunrises. The staff were excellent and attentive. The owner Dino went above and beyond during my stay to help me organise a last minute trip to Ijen which was wonderful. The swimming pool is great as well, large enough to float and swim lengths in with overhang trees - gorgeous! This is one of my favourite places I have ever stayed and will definitely come back if I get the chance to travel to Bali again - a true gem and perfect for relaxing and seeing the beautiful island of Bali. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Bali - I travelled from Denpassar just for this hotel and it was 100% worth it.

Best hotel I stayed in in Indonesia. Everything was perfect. The bungalows were very pretty and clean, the pool and hotel facilities nice. The location was great as well, just 2 mins to the beach. Juvenex Spa is also around the corner if you fancy a nice massage or mani/pedi in a friendly and professional setting. The owner even helped us organise a car transport to Ubud after our stay and replied to all our other questions fast and competently. Would stay there again and again; definitely recommend!

WOW. You really want to stay here! the location is excellent, nearby the beach and nearby good places to eat and have a drink. Dino and his staff were amazing! helped us out to discover and explore the north/west area of Bali. We booked 3 nights but decided to stay 1 extra night. This was my second time in Bali, i would definitely recommend to stay here. Pemutaran is a great place to explore and chill out. I had a very special birthday here :). Dino, thank you so much for your knowledge, positive energy and love. I hope we meet again.

This place is a hidden gem in Bali, we had a wonderful time thanks to Dino with who we discussed about Balinese culture and history. Dino helped us plan our next days in Bali and gave plenty of useful advices. All staff was super friendly and helpful and the place is next to the beach and delicious daring to eat! Oh and breakfast is homemade and incredibly tasty

Super relaxing place, very close to the beach even though not right on the beach you can walk there in 5 mins. There is a beautiful swimming pool with two beautiful trees aside providing shading and romantic touch. The bungalows are simple but comfortable with a little balcony FACING to the pool, you could have drinks there, busy on the computer or simply chill there the whole day. The most amazing part is that even there is a lot of plants around, you won’t find much mosquitoes. The resort doesn’t provide big menu, but you can find some nice restaurants in the village with grest food and very reasonable price. In general a very nice experience

The pool was really nice. It had the perfect temperature and you always have some shadow, even during the day. Even though the bungalows are build really close, it still feels private due to the plants and greenery. The breakfast was also super good and I can definitely recommend the homemade bread. Everyone was super helpful and nice and answered all our questions. Dino even helped us to book some trips and arranged transportation with a driver to get there and back to our next hotel. It is 2 minutes to the beach and there are also a lot of restaurants in a 5 minutes walking distance. I would definitely recommend going there and I would return, should I return to Bali.

Wonderful accommodation in a quiet setting. Beautiful bungalows, built with natural materials, which creates a balanced atmosphere. Beautiful, aesthetic pool amid banana and papaya trees. Great outdoor sitting area where breakfast is served with fruit, eggs and home made bread and home made jam. Nasi goreng is also an option. The staff are the most wonderful, welcoming people. 5 minutes walk from the sea, you walk past the village cows. About 10 minutes away from the first warung or restaurant. For us not a problem, but at night it is pitch dark and with children it can be a bit much. But it's possible to eat a simple meal at the accommodation as well.

From the moment you arrive at Kalyssa you are made to feel right at home, if only this stunning bungalows and gardens were our home. We felt like we were in paradise with the beautifully designed pool and lush gardens. The rooms have been created with repurposed materials very expertly by the owner Dino. The best thing about the rooms was the strong hot shower which we had missed from our travels. You will also find the best Balinese restaurants within only short walk from the resort. You arrive at Kalyssa as guests but leave as friends. We are about to book our return trip back to Pemuteran and will definitely be staying at Kalyssa. Thank you to the friendly staff, it was very sad to leave.

Staff were sensational! They looked after us so well. They helped us with any questions we had. The pool was incredible. The grounds were so well kept and looked after. The bungalows are spacious, clean, and fresh. The area is incredibly quiet. Breakfast was amazing - freshly baked bread!!!!! Without a doubt, one of our favourite places we stayed in Bali! Thank you!!!

Such a lovely, peaceful, curated place. A smaller number of bungalows makes it more special, the pool is beautiful and feels like you’re in a tropical forest. The rooms are roomy and comfortable. The staff are kind and warm and they even make their own bread!! Also super responsive and helpful even to organise excursions or drivers. It’s at the end of a quiet lane, 3 mins from the beach.

Honestly loved it all. One minor suggestion would be to add mosquito nets over the beds. We were lucky in the time we were in Kalyssa (March) there didn’t seem to be many mosquitoes, but with the openness of the cottages, I wonder whether that extra layer of protection would be nice.
