The service was absolutely amazing. We felt like we were treated like royalty during our stay. The rooms are really nice and new. There were surprisingly very few mosquitoes, I think I didn’t even get bitten once at the resort, apparently they fog the resort everyday.

It’s a lil far from the ferry terminal. It took us 45 mins to 1 hour to get to the resort from Tanjung Pinang ferry terminal. We went on a long weekend with the horde of tourists from Singapore, and immigration was kinda rough.

Beautifully designed, large spacious 2 bedroom villa that easily accomodated our family of 8. Excellent facilities, with so many varied things to do - we really spent almost our whole vacation in the resort alone and our kids well entertained by the kids room, games room, ATV / archery/ shooting zone. They even had a little farm tour with bunnies to feed daily. Food at the restaurant was pretty good, though very pricey for local standards Not many biting insects (eg sandflies or mosquitoes), which was a big bonus Private buggies only a phone call away to every part of the resort, but individual bikes were also provided per unit to get around Excellent service from the staff, they were always super helpful and responsive to any queries

Location was quite isolated from the town center and many of the common tourist spots. The beach had coarse sand, and was quite shallow, so largely only suitable for wading (as opposed to other hotels where it is possible to snorkel and play a variety of sea sports)

This is our second trip to the Residence. I loved the ambiance, tranquility, the quality of the facilities and my family and i loved the food. The staff is super attentive and accommodating. I was able to even get remote work done as there are many quiet places and a big desk in the room. We also were glad to upgrade to a private pool. Totally worth it!

Nothing I didn’t like but I wish there were more activities on offer for adults and kids. The kids club is fine for little kids but not so much tweens. For adults, simple things like free/low-cost organized game nights, Bahasa classes would be fun. My kids were also sad that with low tide the kayaking was not an option.

We are still having post holiday withdrawal symptom from this trip! We've stayed for a total of 8 knights and love every single day of it. Staffs - Everyone was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We communicated via WhatsApp and their response has always been so prompt! Appreciate how they've also made a point to remember your names and sometimes even your room number! Appreciate the daily kuehs to the room accompanied by bedtime stories (it is a lovely touch) Thank you for also surprising us with the delicious kueh dar dar to bring home! I love it! Facilities/Activites - Initially we felt 8 nights were too long for a resort holiday but we were so wrong. The facilities here were lovely and self sufficient. We absolutely enjoyed the water and land activities, pool bar and swimming pool. My toddler really enjoyed the kids club (he really loves the staffs there), farm, beach and swimming pool. We truly appreciate the different workshops conducted by the resorts such as towel making, coffee tasting and daily morning yoga (it was really a great way to start the day). Although the location was a little far from jetty it was worth the travel as my family had a blast at The Residence Bintan. We will definitely return!

2nd time here and everything is still brilliant! The resort is a lot further than most resorts in Bintan, but it's definitely worth it. Facilities are ample, service is impeccable, food is great, and everyone greets you with a warm smile and you just feel so welcome. They keep you updated on the resorts' happenings via WhatsApp and communicate with you mainly via the app as well for your own convenience (so you don't have to walk to the phone in the room to call them or walk to the front desk etc.). Some of the honourable mentions go out to the Reservations team who helped me out prior to my stay, the 2 ladies at the Front Desk - Feronica and Grace, along with the very friendly concierge team - specifically Tono! They really made our stay extra special!

The variety of food at the coffee house (for lunch and dinner) might get a bit repetitive after a few days, but the quality of the food is still really really good!

Villa we stayed at is gorgeous. Bathroom is huge and well-designed and well-equipped. Love it. Gym and yoga room is well maintained- we had a good time using these 2 facilities. Same goes for the spa! Private and comfortable and masseurs are really good and thoughtful. Didn’t get to use the bikes provided for each villa coz ours is always missing and we didn’t want to use our neighbours bikes. It’s a nice idea though. Love the sea sports - went out on the catamaran n kayak. With the jet skis were working.

Wish there are more snacks offered at the shop, including instant noodles on days where we just wanna have our comfort food. Shampoo and body wash are too diluted and have to keep pumping to use more n more.

Exceptional 3D2N stay, huge deluxe beachfront villa with a private pool, we enjoyed the room even on a rainy day. The Indonesian restaurant - Rica Rica was excellent! We enjoyed walking the beach at low tide and discovered many interesting sea creatures. Service was excellent everywhere! Lovely pool with bar - would be nice if there is an attractive Happy Hour Promotion. Love the luscious space with a nice recreational room, gym and farms. Bicycles are provided for every room so we have no limitations in exploring the space.

International buffet could improve in terms of the spread and the taste of the food.

From a complimentary transfer from the ferry terminal to top-quality services provided by the entire staff at Bintan (especially Mustika and Fika at the reception), The Residence Bintan was a home away from home. The kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves and we had a very much-needed relaxed 2 days (after our fully packed Singapore trip and before the next destination). Nothing was ever too much for the team to support with. From requesting extra bikes to arranging Quad Bike experience for the kids, the team made every effort to ensure our stay was indeed memorable. My 9-year-old son rated the food at both restaurants (Rica Rica and the other in the main area) as one of the best he has ever had! Felt like 2 days went by so fast! This resort is a must for anyone visiting Bintan.

Nothing negative to report if I am being honest!

The room was very spacious. We felt like we were staying in a villa even though it was a garden terrace "room". The cluster house concept was very well-designed, providing privacy for each room, with spacious garden space for kids to play, just to chill. We love the thoughtful touch of providing 2 bicycles to each room, as we can do some exercise riding the bikes around the estate or to the other family members' room. It was the first for us to have such "personalised" bikes. The room was very very spacious. It is like having your own full fledged apartment with a living room area (big enough to fit another 2 single beds) and the bath area is super huge, giving a really luxurious feel. Very clean and well-maintained rooms - even though this is a 6 yr old property. It looks and feels almost brand new. Superb staff service from all divisions - Very polite, friendly and informative Good range of activities for family - We love the ATV rides, especially the junior ATV for kids. The ATV staff were very professional and safety conscious as they let the kids try the ATV to ensure they can handle before confirming the booking. Kids Club with Farm feeding was interesting too.

Was a bit disappointed the sea view is not good, the sea water was brownish and the sand bank wasnt very visible (quite different from website picture) - not sure if this is due to monsoon weather. It will be good if there can be bikes provided for younger kids so they can cycle with the family.

Everything! We upgraded to beachfront villa for the private indoor pool and we had no regrets! The service was excellent - from the time they picked us up at the ferry terminal to when we checked out. The bus ride was around 1 hr 30 mins, although it was written as 75 mins, but it was not an issue for us though. Upon reaching, they did a group check-in. They led us to the seats, served us drinks, brought the key to us and we made payments from our seats. The friendly staff then sent us to our room to place our bags using a buggy, patiently waited for us and sent us to the restaurant for lunch directly as we were hungry. Everything was seamless. What we enjoyed during our stay: - The private pool (so convenient!) - The accommodation (clean and comfortable! with sea view😍) - 30-min complimentary yoga (830am)(advanced booking required) - Massage (Awesome massage - may be costly but worth the money) - Acoustic night at the pool bar (played popular songs - a great way to end the night) - Weather updates and activities (through whatsapp) - Friendly staff everywhere we go (Even the restaurant manager goes from table to table to check on everyone) Highly recommended! 💯👏
