My stay at the one-bedroom private pool villa in Sanur was simply unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm Balinese hospitality. The villa itself was a tranquil oasis, offering a perfect mix of luxury and privacy. The bedroom was spacious, with a beautifully designed interior that felt both modern and rooted in Balinese culture. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring restful nights. I especially appreciated the attention to detail in the room’s décor, with wooden accents. The private pool was the highlight of the villa. It was well-maintained, the perfect size for a refreshing dip any time of day, and surrounded by lush greenery that created a peaceful retreat. Having my own private pool added an extra layer of luxury and seclusion, making the stay feel intimate and exclusive. The outdoor area had a lovely lounging space where I could unwind with a book or simply enjoy the calm surroundings. I found myself spending most of my time outdoors, relishing the warm Balinese sun in complete privacy. The staff was exceptionally attentive, always on hand to assist with any requests while respecting my privacy. Daily housekeeping kept the villa immaculate, and the breakfast options, delivered straight to my villa, were delicious, with both Western and Indonesian options available. The location was ideal, situated in the heart of Sanur yet away from the hustle and bustle, offering the best of both worlds—easy access to the beach, restaurants, and shops, but still a serene sanctuary when you wanted to escape. Overall, I would highly recommend this one-bedroom private pool villa in Sanur to anyone looking for a romantic getaway or simply a relaxing retreat. It was the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and privacy, making for a truly memorable stay.

The staff went above and beyond, staying up til 2am to let us in when I let them know our flight was delayed. They had our room all ready for us with lights on and curtains drawn, and let us skip formal check in until we had slept. Breakfast was incredible value, a wide variety of food delivered to the room. The bed was super comfy, and Netflix on the big TV was a bonus. The pool was the perfect temp, and was checked for cleanliness daily. The room was stunning. Highly recommend for a romantic getaway.

The location is not conducive to walking around, esp if you have kids with you. No footpaths, not a touristy area. Its not handy to Sanur beach or the main restaurants / shops etc. We based ourselves at The Mavila for 3 nights to settle in and do day-trips to Ubud, then moved to Sanur Beach for the rest of our stay to be in the heart of things. This worked really well for us :)

Staff were so accomodating. From organising an airport pickup to making sure we had everything we needed to make our trip comfortable. Location wasn’t as close to beach as we thought but was so easy to get a grab cab and only a couple of dollars each time. Only reason no 10 was because pillows were rather firm and no other option but they tried to accommodate by sorting through reserves and finding the softest they had, so went above and beyond to help. We are back to stay again at end of our holiday before flying out and have already booked in our massages and airport driver for our return. Loved having private pool was so relaxing.

Our stay here was paradise! The villas are idyllic. Totally private, beautiful pool, very comfy bedroom, smart TV, equipped kitchen. Perfect romantic stay for couples. The staff are SO KIND, they went absolutely out of their way to help us with anything, every single person we dealt with was lovely. The location is a bit out of the way, but this means it's away from busy and touristy areas, so we thought this was a plus.

The villas are a little out of the heart of Sanur, but there are a couple of restaurants, bars and supermarkets nearby and we were okay walking around - just note that there are no footpaths and lots of traffic, so it would be hard to get around with kids or if you weren't comfortable navigate traffic. The charging ports in our bedroom did not work, but there were other plugs we could use.

Loved the privacy of a pool villa & it was quiet. All amenities were great - no expense spared on lighting especially in the bedroom which was lovely set out - the tv was on a hinge so you could move it & with smart tv it had streaming to netfix etc.. the kitchen / lounge & sun bed area was across the pool & had some cooking facilities although we didn't use them - really loved staying here & don't forget to go to Warung Bellisimo accross the road to eat - it's amazing food

We were in Villa 3 - there was some mold on outside wall near pool where it doesn't get much sun - deck next to pool needed painting & some dead plants needed removing - although this didn't really bother us - we loved our stay here - if these things were done it would have been perfect.

A beautiful Villa to spend quality time with your family. Very well maintained, spotlessly clean accommodation. Location wise there are many restaurants and convenience stores nearby. We stayed for 3 nights on Mavila and enjoyed thoroughly. We were even served a welcome complimentary cake. The best thing about the villa is the staff, very welcome and extremely helpful. Wayan, Erik went out of the way to keep us comfortable by giving us guidance on local areas to visit. We would surely recommend Mavila and would like to go there again.

Everything was perfect.

The villa itself was comfortable and the pool great. Everything we needed was provided, The restaurant on site served meals at set times with drinks available throughout the day. Across the road was a restaurant and pizza bar which were both good. A convenience store was close by. The staff were very welcoming.

Area was more urban with no shopping nearby and only the two restaurants. Limited choices for breakfast which needed to be ordered the day before. The villas also host events and these occurred on both weekend nights. Music stopped at 10pm.

I had an incredible stay at The Mavila Sanur. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The villa was beautifully maintained, clean, and had everything I could ask for. The highlight of my stay was the serene atmosphere perfect for relaxation. The pool was stunning, and the gardens were well kept. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of fresh options every morning. The location was also great, close to Icon Mall making it easy to explore the area. I truly appreciated the attention to detail and hospitality of the team. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway!

My partner and I had the most magical stay at The Mavila. The villa was beautiful, private, and perfect for a romantic getaway. We loved the serene pool and the intimate atmosphere, with thoughtful touches like rose petals on the bed. The staff were incredibly attentive and made our stay even more special. If you’re looking for a peaceful, romantic retreat in Sanur, The Mavila is perfect. Highly recommend!

Stunning villa with plenty of room Clean and comfortable property Highly recommend to friends and family Staff were beyond helpful and all had lovely personalities Coffee shop at top end of road with the Mercedes parked outside - 5 minutes walk had great coffee.

Would be great if they did room delivered cocktails such as margaritas and mojitos.
