Really beautiful, big property with pool and spacious, clean rooms. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

It’s a small hotel with 18 rooms. It’s has lovely gardens and a family-run hotel. It’s a typical Balinese style property, quiet considering it’s just off the bypass highway. Could not hear any road noise and I’m a light sleeper. It’s great value for money hotel, clean, comfortable bed, great air-con! You can hire bikes / e-bikes and it is easy access down to the beach a couple of blocks away. There’s a convenience store about 50m away as well as a ATM on that same road. The breakfast that’s included was delicious and there’s a variety. The staff were lovely, friendly and attentive.

This is such a lovely hotel that reminds me of the family run hotels I stayed in twenty years ago in Bali. Beautiful mature garden with tropical flowers, frangipani trees and bananas growing. Lovely pool area and helpful staff. Large rooms. Staff went above and beyond and were great with my son. Good food and breakfast options. Great location especially if you rent a motorbike, which the hotel helped me to arrange. We would definitely come back.

Could have done with some more sun loungers by the pool. Several times they were all full of I gave up my son's lounger and we shared so other people could have one.

Lovely pool, good sized room with fridge and kettle and good value. There is a restaurant where we had two lunches (both good) and the beer and drinks are well priced. There’s a large water dispenser at reception for refilling your water bottle so less plastic! I was worried about location being so close to the main road but it wasn’t an issue and I’m a light sleeper. It is the right side of the main road for an easy stroll to central Sanur with lots of good restaurants and bars (15 minutes) and the beach (20 minutes). Staff friendly.

The rooms are clean but the bathroom shower cubicle and taps need some bleach and a scrub to make them properly clean. A little more work here and I’d give 10/10.

This was my favourite place I stayed in Bali, and if I am ever back I will certainly stay again. Upon arrival they gave me a welcome drink. They also gave one to the driver that dropped me off, which I thought was really lovely. The location is good; it is about a 20 minute walk to the main beach promenade. Sanur is very walkable, so you just need to go down the small street the lodge is located on and in 1 minute you are already on the main road which has proper footpaths. I believe you can also hire a bicycle from the lodge. The pool is a good size and a nice temperature. There is plenty of seating around the pool and throughout the courtyard area. The room is really nice. It's large, clean, and has everything you could need. A wardrobe with a safe, television (I believe it's a smart TV although I couldn't figure out how to work it), comfy bed, clean bathroom with shampoo / soap, aircon, balcony with seating area. They tidy the room every day and you have the option to request sheets to be changed as well. The staff are extremely helpful. I had a medical emergency during my stay and they helped me even though it was 2am or so. The breakfast is nice. You get a few options to choose from, and they can accommodate vegans. They have a number of friendly cats on the property. One in particular (named Kitty) really likes attention and literally ran up the stairs following me and standing on my feet at every opportunity, so if you like petting cats this will be heaven.

Very minor things only, I loved this place. The door handle of my room was loose and kept falling off. Also no option not to have your room tidied or any do not disturb sign.

Sanur lodge is an amazing family-run hotel you shouldn't miss. Even though it's right on the Ngurah Rai bypass, the grounds are quiet and cozy. The whole courtyard is planted with beautiful tropical trees and flowers, there's plenty of spots to chill, the pool is amazing and they even have a book-swap station by the reception desk. Every room has a balcony overlooking the pool or courtyard and the rooms themselves of a really good size. They even have a wardrobe if you prefer unpacking. The breakfast was tasty and hearty and Mama greats you every morning with a smile. The restaurant offers lunch and dinner too, which was super convenient as we arrived sick.

We stayed here for 3 weeks in our month in Bali and loved our stay! Would definitely stay here again. PROS: Very affordable, 20 minutes walk to the beach, lovely breakfast every morning (a few different options such as pancakes, eggs on toast, fruit etc), peaceful surroundings with their pool, kittens and plants, very quiet considering the highway is just there, friendly staff.

CONS: Rooms are very outdated and need a refresh (but for this price you get what you pay for), could be cleaner, bathrooms needs a re model, wifi is good enough for working but not for video calls.

This little boutique hotel is Balinese family owned, and is the type of place I like to stay to get the flavour of Bali. The staff were all more than helpful and the place is kept beautifully clean and tidy. The problem with the location is that it is very close to a major highway, and not very near to the beach. It's a 15-20 minute walk to the closest beach, which seemed to be more of a place where the locals go, but to get into the heart of the beach at Sanur takes a taxi ride.

Reasonable & fair tariff with comfy beds and good housekeeping. Friendly staff & well priced on-site restaurant and the prepaid breakfast was well worth it, bottomless good coffee. "Ma Ma" particularly cheery and appreciated. Access to good massage on site if requested Pool fine & well maintained but care with kids as entry ladder at 6 foot depth.

A bit out of the way if walking. "Free" bikes intro apparently only applies if booking for one month!

Breakfast was extremely good and fresh fruit juices were really nice! The pool was great they had cold beers and other drinks in the fridge staff were amazing.

If you aren't comfortable riding a Scooter or on the back on one through the Gojek app then you may be waiting a while for a taxi. The location is very good very close to main Sanur beach however is on the highway so we struggled to get Taxi's especially during peak hour. Gojek scooter to Sanur Beach Markets cost less than $4 AUD
