Great hotel staff, especially the three girls on the front desk, always willing to help re bookings & transport. Great pool with both shady and sunny spots throughout the day. Quiet location., 8 minutes walk from beach. Great grounds, well kept by a great team. Easy 800 metre walk to group of restarants and shops. Closer to beach front restarants and Warungs. Supermarket a bit further on. $3 Au bluebird to top of Sanur with plenty of available cabs. Rooms spacious and well appointed room with suitcase benches, wardrobe and side tables to put all your stuff on and away.

Linen, although clean needs a refresh. Safe would give peace of mind for valuables.

A little haven. Old Bali its best. Simple but comfortable rooms Super clean. Food was excellent coffee better than mist of the 5 star resorts. Staff were so kind and we left feeling like they were family. Loved how small it was, like staying on a friend’s villa with beautiful gardens. Warm pool. In a quiet area close to surf breaks.this part of Sanur is so much nicer than the hideously over developed Northern part now unless you like generic shopping Centre’s and traffic of course. Hotel is a short 10 min walk to beach and restaurants or a $2 taxi ride which are plentiful.

The staff were very pleasant in this accommodation. The receptionist was very helpful and the check-in was very efficient. The room was good with a huge bathroom and good shower.

The included breakfast was poor with a choice of juice or coffee rather than providing juice and coffee. The hotel does not supply coffee or shampoo in the rooms. The biggest thing that could improve this accommodation would be to install perspex over the open area in the bathroom. The bathroom is good but some might be put off by the fact 25% of the ceiling area is open to the elements.

Nice hotel in general. The room was quite clean, the bed comfortable. the wifi connection good, and the bathroom huge and open to the rooms backyard. Location also nice, close to a not so crowded beach, full of places where you can seat and relax while watching the blue waters and people doing kite surfing. Btw, some people say location is far from center: while being true it can take ~10 minutes to the nearest commercial center when walking, and ~30 to 40 to the more centric areas, today this is not really an issue with Grab, which is (still) affordable and very convenient. On top of that, the restaurant food was quite good. And the staff really friendly.

Just one thing: while providing shower towels, the hotel does not provide hand towels, which sounded a bit weird.

The staff and service were excellent. They’re very friendly & responsive. The hotel was clean. The hotel is nestled in the quiet area of Sanur, it’s comfortable and feeling homey which is great for those who want to relax & having good night sleep as we are light sleepers… Friendly atmosphere around the pool, we got chances to meet & talk to other guests which was great!

No drinking water provided in the room like most of the hotels, neither is shower cap in the bathroom for women folks. So if you arrive late at night, you need to grab some drinking water from supermarket at the airport or on the way to the hotel

A very beautiful vintage authentic hotel - generous and spacious rooms, light & airy with air-con. Tea, coffee Kettle facilities in the room with bar fridge. Quality cotton linen bedding with doona and big comfortable beds. Beautiful big spacious light bathrooms. We stayed in the Deluxe Suite and then moved to the Superior Twin upstairs (as it was all that was available-we loved it!) We hesitated to book but didn't need to, actually everything was amazing! Loved our stay! Staff are very friendly and accomodating, water refill available. Beach restaurants & cafe's within a short walking distance. Restaurant also onsite. Very easy accomodation to relax the whole day without needing to go out-stayed 3 nights and felt very rested before our airport departure. Would definitely come back.

Hot water in the bathroom was very hot at times and then luke warm at other times. It depended on the time of day and may take a little for the water to heat back up. The mobile price on booking.com com was cheaper than the price we paid booking through the hotel, we booked only for one night online - stayed for 3 nights as it was so relaxing and very comfortable rooms. *note; we were in the poolside rooms, the garden side rooms downstairs are spacious but may get a little less light in. These things were minor and we would definitely rate this hotel, do not hesitate to book.

This place is a total Gem. It feels like a magical oasis and the energy there is so light and peaceful. The pool is wonderful for lounging in and for kids as there is a large shallow area shaded by a tree so you can spend hours in there without worrying about getting burnt. The rooms are beautiful, clean and light with a huge comfortable bed and an amazing bathroom with a huge tub. The staff are so lovely and kind and the restaurant has lots of delicious options. The hotel is perfectly located. It feels quiet and peaceful, tucked away from all the hustle and bustle but is also only 5 minutes walk to the beach and many wonderful restaurants and cafe options. This is our new go to place in Sanur. Also there is a little play room so doubly good if you have small kids.

There is nothing we didn’t like about this place.

There’s a peace and calm to the property. When you arrive the reception is located above the facilities and you get a beautiful outlook to it. The paths to the rooms are separated by water ways and a beautiful garden. The pool is beautiful and the restaurant is decent. Received a massage while I checked in early and waited for my room to be ready. The room is and bathroom are a great size and the bath is huge. Both very clean and comfortable The team working there are really attentive and super kind. I would definitely stay there again and longer next time

We loved how quiet it was due to being situated at the South end of Sanur. The hotel is very traditional Balinese style with beautiful gardens and pool area. It feels like a little oasis when you step inside it. The room was very clean and we loved the outdoor bathroom. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. There is also a lovely little restaurant attached to the resort with authentic Vietnamese food at very reasonable prices.

Due to its location there was a bit of walking to be done but they do provide bikes.

Happy to recommend Puri Mesari on Sanur. If you are looking for somewhere in a quiet corner. It's best during the week (minimal guests). The restaurant food is yum and seems well-priced in terms of my limited experience. The staff at PM are all friendly, lovely and helpful without exception. It's a relatively short walk to some shops and beaches and $1.2 on a bike or $3 in a Gocar to get to more places in Sanur. There was some amazing Kite-flying happening at Mertasari Beach in the evenings, just 5 minutes walk. I like bird-watching and there were a few good spots close by too.

The restaurant should just build the surcharge into the price. And they are a bit slow... but once you get used to that, it's no drama. They could easily extend the pool hours till 9pm. It was not wheelchair friendly.
